I cannot begin to convey the level of disappointment I felt when Percy walked into Crusty's store and for a fleeting, glorious moment it felt like the show had truly captured the book's energy with the tacky waterbeds and the department store music and the zany salesman getup only for Percy to say no less than 10 seconds later "I know who you are. You're Procrustes. Your beds are how you trap people." :/

thinking about Bumblebee & Megatron today

just. ough. they could have had such an interesting relationship. because, despite everything and everyone pushing Bumblebee into being harsher and stricter, cruel, even, he tried his best to be kind and forgiving. he had good intentions when he ruled Cybertron, just like Megatron - but when Megatron took a more aggressive approach and insisted upon his ideals (which is the same thing Optimus did), Bumblebee allowed for everyone's freedom to choose. if they really were to work together, they could have made Cybertron so much better

also their relationship can be viewed like a less restrictive version of Bumblebee and Optimus: Bee is allowed to poke fun at Megatron multiple times and he'd return it in kind, but it's never seen as hostile. Optimus is Bumblebee's "commanding" figure, it would take a lot to speak to him like he's more than his superior, let alone let them banter with each other. i think it's freeing here, to see Bee less cordial and open, and at the same time to see Megatron be this gentle, to respect someone's ideals and even consider them

really? you wanna start another smau when you can't even manage to complete the last one properly. like i get it, updating everyday can drain you out, but people always told you to take enough breaks and it was okay if you didn't update daily. but you ignore them, put out daily chapters to keep up that image of yours as "one of the few authors of enhablr who never fail to give updates" or whatever, and then burn yourself out, causing you to rip away that perfect ending from us that we were waiting for. like, did we ask for daily updates? no, but we wanted the satisfaction of watching hoonflake come back together. you gave us something we didn't even ask for and took away something we were so eagerly waiting to see. like seriously? get your priorities straight first before you write another smau
