This tabletop cooking set is crafted for cooking and serving yudofu or hot pot tofu. Yudofu is a simple and traditional tofu dish created by Buddhist monks who lived in the Kyoto area. Yudofu can be served with any dipping sauces and garnishes such as ponzu, mentsuyu and goma dare (sesame sauce).

Japanese Food Cravings
More people are becoming familiar with the unique culinary culture of Japan as the cuisine spreads throughout the country. People are lining up to get their hands on tempura, ramen, sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. I'm taking a break and ordering takeout in the interim, but home cooks like myself are busily preparing their way through replicating some of their favorite Japanese dishes at home.
I ordered the following:
Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura
Agedashi Tofu
Philladelphia Roll
Salmon Skin Roll
California Roll
"If I were trapped in one city and had to eat one nation's cuisine for the rest of my life, I would not mind eating Japanese. I adore Japanese food. I love it." - Anthony Bourdain

when you ask a restaurant for spicy food and instead of cooking it in a way that makes the end result hotter they just obliterate all the flavor by dumping heaps of sriracha all over it after the fact

I know I'm very late to this, but it's Nice Ask Week!
When do you think Carlos found out that TK can cook? What was the first thing TK made for him and what was the occasion?
Hey friend 🥰🥰
I think it took a while but it did happen before Carlos moved in. Usually, Carlos just likes to cook and take care of others and TK helps him cut if he helps at all and doesn't just gobble down ingredients.
But of course Carlos has late shifts and by the time they get so close that TK just stays over at Carlos' without him there, TK wants to surprise him with a dish.
I think he'd go for comfort, something he cooked for himself but not one of the go-to quick meals. A labor of love with a garantued outcome.
Maybe I'm projecting my own penchant for cooking East Asian food, but I think TK might make five spice pork. Also because he misses getting it from Spring Street.
If you do eat meat, definitely give this a try!!
