Hey there! Do you have any head canons for the dimi girls? Like any quirks and fun things that you might not be able to get into the main plot?

listen i have so many thoughts about them, it’s very unhealthy-

since Bela and Cassandra are both pretty into creative stuff (music and art, respectively), they definitely have had little get togethers where they just hang out in the Opera Hall when everyone is asleep and practice their own thing

Daniela definitely joins them occasionally, probably with a book in hand or sleepily listening to Bela play the piano

Cassandra only allows her immediate family to call her Cassie. no ands, ifs, or buts. her s/o can call her Cass, but only once she’s realized she has feelings for them

Bela may not show it often, but she’s incredibly protective of her younger sisters. there was a time for like a week where she just spoiled them with little treats and praise and both thought Miranda had replaced her with some shitty copy

Cassandra has made her sisters their sickles, and it’s the only reason they’re good quality and haven’t fallen apart after hundreds of uses

Daniela takes offense when anyone doesn’t want to read with her. there was once a maid she fancied that refused her and made her cry, and, well… we’ll just say that her older sisters took care of that

all three love head scratches but in different places. there. i said it

Bela makes fun of Cassandra for being shorter than she is (nevermind that it’s only like an inch difference)

anytime the girls want something that might be a little hard to get, they have to send Daniela with her saddest puppy eyes to Alcina. it works like a charm

(Alcina never says no to them anyway. is she spoiling them too much? maybe, but she doesn’t care)

Cassandra and Daniela respect the hell out of Bela, even if they spend 90% of their time being the most annoying little siblings on the planet

definitely have little monthly get-togethers where they spend a few hours doing sisterly things. talking about the maid they fancy, how many people they’ve drained, which tool is best for causing the most damage… yknow. normal stuff

Daniela will hide in the library when she’s upset, hidden behind some hard-to-reach bookshelves

if Cassandra is ever upset and wants to hide, you will literally never find her unless she wants you to

if Bela is upset, she’ll either lock herself in her room or throw herself into her work until she thinks she’s made a rational decision

Cassandra has done paintings of her family before. don’t tell anyone, though. she will murder you

Bela will sometimes have the maids prepare her little siblings’ favorite dishes seemingly out of nowhere. she’ll deny ever being involved

i think i’ve kinda referenced this one before, but their flies are tied in with their emotions. Bela is incredibly flustered? flies are buzzing around her form. Cassandra is excited about something? hers are either buzzing around her form or crawling on something nearby. Daniela gets to a plot twist in her cheesy romance novel? expect to only hear buzzing in your ears for 3-5 business days

they purr when they’re content

Daniela can be strangely poetic at times, which she then follows by seeing something interesting and changing the subject like she’d never spoken. Bela and Cassandra are used to it, but they think it’s hilarious to see how guests react

when she’s feeling particularly down, Bela will go into the village at night and go to Cassandra’s and Daniela’s old homes to remember all she’s gained from this life

this is all my dumb brain can come up with for now, but i’ll definitely make a part two if i remember more of the little things i headcanon for them <33

I'm here today with some fresh castle gossip. And it was submitted by anonymous or shall we say a 'rat' in case because to be honest some of the maids are like those little creatures. Now, onto what the rat said.

Rat: "I don't know who this bird cunt whore is but they're the reason i don't have weekends off anymore or get bonuses from lady Bela. and on top of that there is this weirdo that stalks the halls at night, especially near this bi- room!!"

well that was quite a lot from the rat and such unpleasant words. i do hope the little bird is doing alright in the castle despite the maids and other factors.

And I believe that is al-.. oh, apparently we have more. um the castle is doing their monthly interviews for those who may need a job that actually pays. The pros for working there are hot meals, a roof over your head, handsome pay of course, a chance to build relationships [both platonic and romantic], gayness, and freedom from your home situation for the most part. Now the cons are chances of dying.

What’s ur favorite thing to write about the dimitrescus?

HMMM

with Alcina, i have two favorite things: my first is her being a protective mother, especially when she values her daughters over Reader even for the most basic things. i feel like i didn’t see that often enough in fics when i used to read them, and it’s oddly satisfying to write her as daughters first, crush second

my second is writing her being so soft around those she cares for, especially when it’s a private moment between her and a loved one. that scene at the end of chapter fourteen with her and Cassandra stays being one of my favorites simply because of how they interacted. my heart melts when this woman who is typically known as being cruel, violent, and powerful is the complete opposite around her beloveds

with Bela, my favorite thing to write is her being both bashful and confident at the same time. having her struggle to navigate her feelings and an actual relationship instead of one night stands or lengthy stress relieving sessions with the maids is such a nice change of pace from how she typically acts in TPtM

as for Cassandra, my all time favorite thing to write is her just… not knowing things. be it how to navigate a romantic relationship, how to comfort someone properly, how to gift someone something she made without sounding like a buffoon… i just love her so much and i try my best to do her character well 😭

and, finally, my favorite little fly… as of right now, my favorite thing to write is her being assertive with what she wants or just her feelings. i also like writing her being just a Little mean sometimes, especially when it comes to her trying to get her point across, like in chapter sixteen (i think?). she’s my little baby bug and i just adore writing her in any way <33

This week, the village celebrated the union of Mira and Vera, two lovers that complete each others hearts. A wonderful pairing created by the black god. An honorable mention, Lady Dimitrescu paid for some, if not the majority of the materials for the party. So, if the noble matriarch is reading this. Thank you Lady Dimitrescu.

Now, onto different matters. one of old elderly ladies spotted an outsider dancing with the infamous huntress of the Dimitrescu family, lady Cassandra. In a alley way and this truly begs who is mysterious person, a servant? a friend? or perhaps a significant other to the noble woman? But anyways, apparently Jim, Intern, and ms. Ingrid have admitted that this person seems familiar but yet at the same time, foreign. (they saw their face when the little fellow went to get drinks)

Ad: Red is offering 100 lei and a hot meal to those that stop by their establishment for whatever they offering to us poor souls.
