Edit) here’s a plaintext transcript cause someone asked for it:
“I am actually in love with this fictional man. He has latched himself onto my brain not unlike a parasite. I cannot rid myself of him. Our wedding is in three weeks :3”

okay i just remembered having a very strange vivid dream last night (check tags for CWs) and it reminded me that i can feel pain in my dreams, or something concerningly close to it. and it doesnt always happen, sometimes im completely invincible and/or dont feel pain, but in this particular one i did and its not the first time
most people say they feel pain in dreams when something is actually hurting them in reality and their brain creates a narrative reason for it inside the dream, but i woke up feeling fine, no pain at all. and any pain i do occasionally get is not at all where i felt the pain in my dreams
in my dream i'd been bitten on the fingertip by a deadly venomous spider, which i didnt feel. but i could feel a slow, intensifying buildup of pain in my whole body, namely in my neck and shoulders and down my arms and thighs
i was administered an antidote for the venom via a large needle right above my shoulder blade, which i felt pressure and very slight pain from. so at this point im experiencing both general pain and localized pain. after the antidote, all of that pain went away
and like i said, when i woke up there was no pain whatsoever, i dont even feel like i slept particularly weird or anything. if anyone else has had a similar experience im interested in hearing about it!
