I like the little details like Rigsby's tie not being as neat as Cho's, and how Rigsby almost always wears diagonal striped ties while Cho wears subtle textures or small geometric patterns. Rigsby is a little more brash, a little more conventional -- Cho is understated, muted. They work really well together and play to their strengths.

side note but I do enjoy it whenever Caroline is petty and jealous in a "dwant" way (Killjoys term that references when you don't want [to be] with someone but don't want them to want to be with anyone else but you either lol). it's selfish of her and all but I love that she does it and it comes across as endearing and fun, because that's such an staple of Female Leads TM while everyone else acting like this would be extremely judged for it in the text xD
(this refers to how she reacts to Matt possibly going to Rebekah in this episode, but also to how she talked about Alaric hiring a hot nanny xDD. these are two ships I would loathe Caroline being stuck with, but this set-up, where on top of everything else the guys end up deferring to her in many ways, works juuuuust fine with me).

911 and Buddie and couches though…I mean yes the couch is a metaphor but good grief the couch really is A Metaphor(TM). The way we saw the three of them (Eddie, Buck, and Christopher) on Buck’s couch in 3x09, and Buck and Christopher on Eddie’s couch (with Eddie standing in front of them) in 4x03 (Future Tense, my beloved), but otherwise have not seen them + a couch again in the same space since. But there was Eddie and Ana and her couch and Eddie and Ana and Christopher on his couch, and there was Buck and Taylor on Buck’s couch (and then on Taylor’s couch in Buck’s apartment), but…there have been no couples on Eddie’s couch since 4x13 and “make sure you’re following your heart.” There was Buck sleeping there alone in 4x14, we’ve seen Eddie and Christopher on or around it, and then we’ve gotten Eddie sleeping on it alone in 5x14 (after Buck got rid of the couch he had and it was replaced with Taylor’s couch) and now 6x09. Like…it’s not even just that Buck doesn’t have a couch, it’s that the two of them (or the three of them as a family unit) have not been allowed to occupy a couch together since it was revealed that the three of them are, in fact, a family, and since it began to be more clearly implied that Buck and Eddie are something other than platonic friends, and idk what to do with this information other than scream.
And now we’re on hiatus…

I feel like Rhaenyra on the throne is a season 3 ending. They've confirmed 4 seasons so I imagine that last season being Rhaenyra's rule, the endings of the war and the last episode being the 'Hour of The Wolf'
I 100% think they’re gonna do God’s Eye for season 4, like as the main draw. I’m imagining “You’ve lived too long, Uncle.” “Of that much we agree.” over a black screen in the trailer before it cuts to a clip of the battle between Vhagar and Caraxes. And then maybe episode 5 or before the end of the season, Rhaenyra dies, and then the rest of the season we see Aegon II’s death and the first part of Aegon III’s reign.
season 2 is 1000000000% ending on the fall of king's landing. it's a perfect note to end on, victory, glory, new beginnings only for s3 to come back and it all goes to shit. it's s3/4 that i can't figure out. 3x09 seems like a good bet for daemon to die... and then, i'm blanking. 3x10 maybe storming of the dragonpit? Rhaenyra dying early s4 and the show ending with the hour of the wolf??? I don't know... I genuinely can't see this show going for 40 episodes. S4 might have to be shorter to make it work.
very sexi concepts all around here but. are four seasons CONFIRMED or was it just grrm saying it SHOULD be four seasons? cause he's recently also said hotd should have started 40 years earlier and like lmaooo anyway I'm also leaning towards the battle above the gods eye being the Main Event tm of s3 altho I do like the idea of just black screening it before the actual battle kicks off and having the s4 premiere be daemons death (is there enough material between daemyra taking kings landing and daemon dying to fill a whole season tho??? idkk also i say daemons death. hes gonna survive crawl on his hands and knees to be by his queenwifes side when they go out in a blaze of glory hashtag daemyra dying together truthers) and then rhaenyra dying 1/2 eps later? and like there would be a lot to wrap up post daemyra dying like aegon ii dying hour of the wolf perkin the flea/trystane truefyre viserys reappearance aegon iii coronation ect and also I'm still dead convinced the last shot of the show will be jaehaera throwing herself out of maegors holdfast

“if i’m gonna fight this war after you’re gone, then i gotta change. i gotta be more like you.” sam’s character has been gradually shifting for a while and i’m glad there’s an awareness of it, but i wish i got more clarity about their morals, like the whole ‘destroying possessed vessels’ thing that’s become arbitrary at times now.

As I came up from the galley, the sun was going down into the ocean in a blaze that paved the western sea with gold like the streets of Heaven. I stopped for a moment, just a moment, transfixed by the sight.
It happened many times before, but it always took me by surprise. Always in the midst of great stress, wading waist-deep in trouble and sorrow as doctors do, I would glance out a window, open a door, look into a face, and there it would be, unexpected and unmistakable. A moment of p e a c e.
The light spread from the sky to the ship, and the great horizon was no longer a blank threat of emptiness, but the habitation of joy. For a moment, I lived in the center of the sun, warmed and cleansed, and the smell and sight of sickness fell away; the bitterness lifted from my heart.
I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted, thinking it strange and not strange that grace should find me here, too.
Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me as it always did, with the lasting echo of its presence. In a reflect of acknowledgement, I crossed myself and went below, my tarnished armor faintly gleaming.

I was checking the live+3 ratings for 911 and The Masked Singer & thinking about your spec over which show/timeslot the skip was suppose to be helping, & I noticed that while the live numbers are pretty close with 911 ahead slightly, after the 3 day delay 911 really pulls ahead. But Singer stays about 0.1 ahead in demo even with the 1.5mil extra viewers 911 gets. So I have nothing to add to what you've already theorised but I am strangely eager to see how Singer does in the timeslot.
Both times there's been a pause between episodes in the fall (2x08 // 2x09 + 3x08 // 3x09) the station chose to air a rerun. Deviating from that pattern to give the TV audience content of TMS where "new hints and clues are dropped for those who have yet to be revealed." makes it pretty clear, IMO, what the goal is with this.
The show *did* gain 10% of it's 18-49 demo back on Wednesday night, so this decision may have come at just the right time. You can bet I'll be checking for those numbers on Tuesday. ;)

Some more prompts for inspiration, check the full list HERE^^
#020 - Set after Code Red. Lisbon won't forgive Jane for making her think she was about to die until he tells her what he would say to her if he was about to die.
#021 - Hightower fires Lisbon instead of reinstating her after Jane made a mockery of the courtroom in 2x19. Jane must make a deal so that she'll get her job back. He expected Hightower to ask for something related to the inner politics of the CBI, but instead, she asks for something a little more unusual and a lot more personal.
#022 - In Red All Over (2x20) describe Jane's thoughts after his initial meeting with Bret Stiles.
#023 - "She likes you, that one." / "Which one?" / "The dark haired one." That conversation between Jane and Hightower in 2x22 goes a little differently...
#024 - S2E22 Red letter: The bar scene (is PURE kinky gold). Just to get in context (and because I can't help to quote the entire scene): "She's gonna help us explore some boundaries." / "No, she's not." / "Work with me, Teresa. (To Novella) You're pretty, uh, well, you're pretty adventurous, right? Because my--my lady, she--she gets a little out there at times." / "Gettin' there now." / "Let's go upstairs and see." Instead of Lisbon busting the bartender, they actually go upstairs and explore those boundaries. (If at the end Lisbon makes Jane to pay for the service, even better.)
#025 - The first time Jane got into a fugue state was in 2x23, when Red John left Jane tied up in a chair with three cooling bodies around him. The fear and trauma causes him to blank out his whole life. Finding his way back to himself is a struggle, even with Lisbon's help.
Season 3
#026 - Mrs Dublin (the drama queen widow from 3x01) asks Cho on a date after the case is solved and won't take no for an answer.
#027 - Jane and Lisbon finish that conversation about pulling away from the team in 3x01.
#028 - When Walter Mashburn comes back two months after "Red Hot" and asks Lisbon out, she surprises everyone (including herself) by agreeing to a date with him.
#029 - Set in 3x09. Jane didn't expect the eyeful of nakedness he got when peeking through Lisbon's window and it really messes with his focus afterwards.
#030 - After leaving the AA group in Jolly Red Elf, Jane ponders on his "Red John addiction".
#031 - "I'm a little home. Will you take me drunk?" Well, Lisbon certainly isn't going to let Jane go back home alone, is she?
#032 - Set in 3x18. After Steiner's death, Jane calls Lisbon.
#033 - Post 3x18. Cho really was abducted by aliens.
#034 - Set between 3x23 and 3x24. Jane and Lisbon finish the conversation they started when they were trying to distract Anthony Gupta.
#035 - Timothy Carter's last moments. Thoughts, events leading to his death, regrets, etc.
#036 - Set in season 3. After a night of partying, Rigsby wakes up with a very embarrassing new tattoo. Concealing it from Van Pelt is a nightmare, especially when Cho keeps making fun of him.
#037 - Set in season 3. Lisbon has a crush on Hightower. Jane teases her mercilessly until she finds a way to turn the tables on him.
