🐯STRENGTH 🐯 It’s a new year and Spirit is asking us to stay strong. The Festive manicure has dropped off and the skies are grey and heavy with rain. How do we continue to move towards the sun? I love this image. The maiden embraces the tiger tenderly. She is like a goddess, the symbol of eternity hovers over her head and flowers and leaves curl around her. She is loved by the elements. The tiger as though in a trance, rests its face into her. It’s a blissful image yet behind them shadows hover. Each of us has this eternal soul and the wild animal body. While this image reflects harmony it also hints at what may occur if the tiger rouses from its trance. What match is a maiden for a tiger? When our shadows make their way between the parts of us that need so much to love each other, self destructive behaviour ensures. The loving parent within us soothes the wild child. This bond within our makeup is so necessary for our mental and physical survival. If we do stay strong, and we find a way to bond and heal the parts of ourselves at war, the balance is attained, the tiger yields and the shadows recede. We turn the wheel in our favour. When you find yourself in shadow, embrace yourself. Tell yourself I AM HERE. What one minute may be vulnerability meeting violence, can become strength meeting grace and beauty. The Wheel can turn either way.
