I finished a pillow yesterday!

Worked on it on and off for like 2 years, but it came out well. It has some flaws in the cording, but then again, for a first time cording project, I am happy with how it turned out. I have 3 more pillows in this set, who knows when i will finish them all, but regardless, I am happy with my fuzzy pillows.

I had run out of fabric and had already cut the front so I wasn't sure how to proceed, but i had just barely enough overlap to do this technique, so I did, and this is how it turned out.

>Ceramic pillows were initially developed during the Sui dynasty (581-618 C.E.) and remained popular from the 7th to 14th century. Tigers were thought to exorcise evil, based on their association with the Daoist celestial Master Zhang, who lived during the Eastern Han dynasty (25-220 CE). Images of Master Zhang riding his tiger were popular in Chinese folklore and were thought to protect a home from evil spirits and drive away demons of illness.

The delicately painted bird on a bamboo branch is inspired by a popular form of fan painting at the imperial court in the Jin dynasty. This pillow has a rare inscription on the bottom: "purchased for 31 wen on the thirteenth day of the first month of the ren ying year," a date probably corresponding to 1182.<

I want the kids to find some old compilation videos of Wild Tiger preforming his "signature move" Cat Nap. Tiger falling asleep on the couch during interviews or on his feet during group ones. Swaying to the side sometimes and "There it is folks! The Tiger special! And it seems like he's gone for his favorite pillow again! Rock Bison!"

There was a whole website dedicated to keeping track of the Tiger pillow rankings. Bison might not win with points but he's got a small but dedicated group convinced that he must be the comfiest pillow of a man once he undoes his unbreakable skin all thanks to Kotetsu.

The end of the video is a highlight reel of the unofficial sign off for that season. "And there's wild tiger taking a cat nap on a wall/a bench/a spare gurney. The danger must be passed folks. Goodnight!"

Thomas didn't want to engage but he's got a nack for finding the best videos from back then and everyone's huddled around him. They're almost a decade old so it's not easy. Kotetsu arrives and asks what they're watching. Gets excited that they might be watching his Best of clips. Nope.

Since TaiBani have decided, once again, to get new rings (also for the other heroes but I digress), my brain has decided to couple the idea of them wearing the rings in the show/paired with the "The space between our hands" lyric from AIDA.

Like, maybe they've just escaped near death again, they've just had their quiet moment together, the other heroes call them and they stand walking side by side, hands nearly brushing, light glinting on the rings, and then they finally lace their fingers as the sun rises.

OK so while it's totally cool if you want to see The Legend of Anle (I heard it's like Nirvana in Fire but instead of the main prince it's the girl? Also probably a bit less Complex cinema than NiF or else NiF wouldn't be so many people's favorite I'm guessing)

But I'm not a very big fan of diliraba so ill be holding off. If anyone is really impressed with her or gong juns acting though, I may check it out at some point (I guess similar to The Ballad etc show with Diliraba where i watched about 1/4)
