Bad day bonding

“Stupid pomegranate… stupid things… …” Licorice cookie was mumbling to himself over an assignment pomegranate had given him.

Poison Mushroom cookie notices his friends grumbly demeanor and Waddles over “Licorice cookie!”

Licorice takes a deep, controlling, breath so he doesn’t take out his anger on his coworker. “…Yes, Poison Mushroom? “ His voice sounds strained as he says it.

"What's wrong...??" Mushroom asked Licorice with concern and confusion.

“Oh.. Y’know…. Just, life . And this dumb assignment “ he whispers the last sentence , more talking to himself than mushroom

"Ooohhh...Have a shroomie..!.." Poison Mushroom grabs a mushroom and pushes it towards Licorice.

“Umm… okay?” Licorice takes it and sets it aside, not wanting to hurt Mushrooms feelings, but knowing eating the ‘shroomie’ will hurt him.

Sensing his hesitation, Mushroom says "I-It won't hurt you!.." He leans against Licorice and snuggles him playfully, which tickles him on accident.

“Pfft. Dohont do that “ Licorice says with a slightly higher pitch to his voice.

An idea popped into Mushrooms head. "Pleeeaaassee..!" He continued to snuggle Licorice playfully. "Tickle..!.Tickle...!"

“Noho! “ he slightly giggled before clenching his teeth to prevent any more laughter from slipping out. Poison Shroom kept tickling the sides of the grim reaper cookie.

"Hehe..!..Mushroom tickles..!"

“Hgggnn” Licorice was clearly struggling to not laugh, his shoulders shaking with the effort. His smile was completely visible, however.

Poison Shroom blushed adorably at the sight . "Tickle tickle..! Heheh!.." he snickers .

“Kkkkkkkk stoOp” Licorice was still visibly struggling, making strange noises.

"Hehehe!~♡ Tickle tickle!.." Mushroom nuzzled against Licorice's sides.

“Kkk pfft hahahaha ! Ohoho crahahahap!” The other cookie said as he broke and started laughing.

A few seconds later, Poison Mushroom began to stop to give Licorice a breather.

“Ehe… heh… are you done now?” He breathed.

"Yehea..!.." The purple cookie snickered cutely as he waddled around Licorice.

“Oh thank goodness. That was humiliating“ the sorcerer said, pulling his hood over his face to hide his blush and smile.

"Hehe...!.." Mushroom smiled alot continuously.

“Why are you smiling like that?” The other asked, suspicious.

"I'm happyyy..!” Said Mushroom.

“I … have a feeling there’s more too it than that, but ok. Why are you happy.” The gray cookie replied .

Poison Mushroom hugged Licorice again. "Becauuuuseee!..."

“Oh. I was not expecting a hug today…” Licorice stated , with a slightly suprised face as he looked down to face Mushroom.

Poison Mushroom looked up and laughed adorably at Licorice.

“What’s so funny?” He said, a little embarrassed, the blush that had faded rising again.

The other poked the grim reaper look alike again. Tickling him twice.

“Nohot agahaIN “ said look alike squealed.

"Tickle tickle..!!" Mushroom cooed.

“Ihihi thohohought yohou sahahaid youhou werhehere dohohone!” Licorice called through his growing laughter.

"Hehe! Tickletickle!..." Mushroom kept tickling.

“Wihihihiy! Eheheehhee! “ Licorice was giggling really hard due to the rapid tingles at his sides.

"Ehehhe!~♡" Poison kept tickling poor Licorice.

“Ohohoho gohohohoodnehehes! Eheheheeheee! Ihihit tihihihickles! “ He cried out through his ever-growing giggles.

Mushroom kept tickling Licorice for a few minutes until he stopped for real.

“Ehehee. Thahat. Wahas. Mehean“ Licorice said, before collapsing on the floor face down, still letting out leftover giggles from the phantom tickles.

"Hehehe!~♡" Mushroom lays down on the grass and curled up.

Licorice lifts his head and looks at Mushroom. “What are you …doing?”

Mushroom sighed, "Resting..♡"

“Why? Your not the one who was just tickled so much they laughed them self into exhaustion“ Licorice replied, rolling onto his back and closing his eyes.

Mushroom yawned and rested against Licorice without answering.

“Uh.. uh.. o-k-Kay I-I guess. Keep your secrets.” He said with a confused look on his face, before he looked down at mushrooms now sleeping face and formed a fond smile “I guess we can here stay awhile, that dumb assignment can wait.”

You know, you'd have thought the first time would have been enough, but apparently, Cassie decided to try and visit again. Maybe she forgot something, maybe she has an uncontrollable urge to visit? Though, to be honest, she doesn't look like she's having that bad a time.
