Bittersweet day today as I bid a “see you again soon” to my Spiritual family at CSL Cape Coral. 💔😢 We held our annual meeting today and I was also blessed to receive the “Volunteer of the Year” award in addition to beautiful cards, gifts, and this delicious cake from my community. I’m Not Going To Call This A Goodbye, Just About Yet.... Today (At Least, According To The Company Emails Sent Last Week) Marks My Last Official Day As An Employee Of Universal Studios Hollywood. As I’ve Said, I Wasn’t Surprised That Being Furloughed These Past Few Months Would Lead To This, But I’m Still Quite Sad. Having Spent 2 Years Being Employed At The Park, Under A Company That I Still Hope And Dream Of One Day (In The Not Too Distant Future 😉...) Making My Mark As A Filmmaker, Has Been Nothing Short Of An Exciting Ride At The Movies! Yeah, The Job Has Had Its Huge Shares Of Ups And Downs Over Time, But All Jobs Do, Anyways. I May Have Been A Bit Overwhelming To Deal With To Some People, But I Gotta Say That I’ve Gotten The Chance To Work With, Know, And Eventually Even Become Friends With So Many Wonderful Cool Cats ☺️ From Working Favorite Spots Like Jurassic Outfitters And The Transformers Vault, To Causing A Ruckus During The Late-Night Shifts During Halloween Horror Nights, Then Eventually Realizing A Childhood Goal By Finally Being Trained At “The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter” And Showing My Ravenclaw Pride ✨🐦 As Mentioned, I Wouldn’t See This As A Goodbye, Just Yet, As There Too Much Left That I’d Like To Do With Universal, As My Goals Is To Still Someday Find Myself Working Something Legit On The Universal Lot...A Guy Can Dream 🎥 Here’s To Hoping That I’ll Be Able To Come Back, Someday.
