The internet is really pulling me to release my inhibitions and commit shipping SydCarmy because this detail I came across a Twitter thread is CRAZY!!

Basically, they mentioned how before Claire and Carmy share their first kiss this shot of the calendar shows up. They even explained the significance of the lyrics but then I realized there’s even more to this.

A few episodes later, Syd accuses Carmy. “I didn’t know we running our menu by Claire.” She even doesn’t take in the detail that he literally remembered the chaos menu and drew everything for her. What mattered to her was that the menu review was taking in someone else’s input (and no this isn’t exactly romantic at all, but romantic or not it’s clear that—as the Twitter thread analyzed—Claire is taking too much or Sydney’s space).

When Mario and Luigi take a look at Bowser after they're finished beating him up, you'll notice that Mario is noticeably breathing more heavily than Luigi, making it look like he's just barely managing to control his temper

Yes, compared to Luigi, you can definately see that Mario is breathing more heavily!

I've also noticed other moments where he seems to do this:

The baby flashback after Mario beats off the bully.

That is one angry baby!

And, interestingly, the moment after the second hug during the reunion scene.

He's relieved, not angry, but you can clearly tell that he's breathing heavily just the same as the other moments.

This leads me to believe that Mario's emotions can get the better of him, and it just takes a while for him to calm down.

Unlike Luigi, who knows to take a deep breath to calm himself, Mario on the other hand needs to know everything is ok before he even begins to come back down.

What is your favourite thing about Damien?

After much thought, I realised that I can’t really pin it down to one thing? I like Damien as a whole, the way his strengths and flaws shape him. That he’s my OC that I created and that I’m very proud of, even if I don’t share everything about him on here. It was also through him that I got to meet so many new friends just by sharing his story and artwork of him.

I can’t really think of a simple answer to this question 🤔 I guess his existence is my favourite thing about him.

Second Most Kudos: Will You Accept This Rose? – 796?! – When Blue is chosen as the reluctant Bachelorette, the show needs to quickly add a few contestants, just to fill out the first night's ceremony. Her new friends on the production staff are asked to help, but Ronan soon finds out he and Blue share similar taste in men. (my crack-filled baby did so well, omg, I can’t believe it! 🌹 I still re-read the scenes I loved writing the most because they make me smile.)

Third Most Comments: Bleach AU Collection – 55 – A compilation of all the Bleach fics I'm writing for the 30-Day AU Challenge on Tumblr. They're mostly fluff and humor with a dose of smut here and there between Grimmjow and Ichigo. Girolamo must forget he is a Riario to play his role, but temptations threaten to steal him away for good. (Da Vinci’s Demons was the best tiny fandom ever and gave writers/creators such lovely interactions. This was one of my baby works, a real labor of love, and I’m still proud of it.😊)

Least Amount of Words: Clothes Make the Man – 2,182 – Zo's T-shirt was supposed to be a gag Christmas gift, but if he's lucky, it might predict the future. (Da Vinci’s Demons. Ha, even in a teeny, tiny fandom, I still wrote a lot of crack and weird pairings.😜)

OH...i haven't thought about this too much it should be interesting. hehe

yunobo first cause i thought of him first. he's a bit. intimidated? by daruk. while also feeling honored to have inherited his power. he's not super sure what he has to do with the grand scheme of things or whatever. he is just a guy. and he would like to stay just a guy tbh. so while he can respect what daruk did he doesn't really know what to do about his connection to daruk. the other champions he is Vaguely aware of but doesn't really know about other than they were also pilots and were from different races.

sidon well. uh. it's complicateddd. he wears mipha's earring as a little reminder of her tbh. he loves her a lot but yea he didn't feel like he knew her that well. that's why he's kind of stuck on her and honestly gaffen telling him about her made it Worse because he had to process this new information and analyze it to see if he could just get a scrap of what she was like. he's very upset with how the rest of the domain acts about her which also helps reinforce that sense of loss. he's learning though! slowly. it helps that he has friends. from what he remembers about the other champions...he thinks they were very brave. urbosa to him was really cool

riju! obviously she idolizes urbosa im pretty sure this is canon. however urbosa was also somewhat of a controversial leader at the time. and there are people who argue about her impact on gerudo society as a whole its very. interesting. especially her policies and stance on gerudo cultural identity. in general riju is aware of this and still admires what urbosa did while not wanting to repeat her mistakes if that makes sense? she admires her desire to unite with others, but wants to extend that towards other gerudo cities and settlements. i am going to think about how the gerudo like to memorialize their past leaders and what kinds of details they include or omit, but I think urbosa would feel larger than life, in a way, not personal, because she never got the chance to learn about her from stories told by her mother or grandmother. idk how this keeps happening. themes of not understanding who a person truly is abound !

teba is pretty funny tbh I dont really think his opinion of revali has changed much from fanon/aoc I Guess. you can tell i havent really thought about him much. sighs. I dont think the rito like to dwell on death or failure much. they're aware of revali as a part of history but its not nearly as much of a big deal as with other races. so teba would respect revali. but also, that's a kid is anyone like, looking after him???

Oh some of these are very surprising questions, but let's see!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Hmmmm... I guess I like his tenacity. As in, Rades is one of those characters that just refuse, absolutely refuse, to just roll over and quit. Sure, he seems to be the type to do first and ask questions second, but at least he takes action (like at the very end of the elf arc, where the EOTMNSs' henchmen's redemption arc kinda begins). I can admire his determination.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

Rades... I get that you have... issues, but boasting to a toddler about how you're going to destroy the kingdom really is NOT the way to go...

6. What’s something you have in common with this character?

Now, this, this is a difficult question. But... I suppose if I had to find something, I, too, feel betrayed by the society, the feelings of inadequacy and (though not me, but my family) being essentially being stabbed in the back by the very system that's supposed to be there for the people.

11. Would you date this character?

...No Unfortunately. I just don't see appeal in him as a romantic partner. As in, sure he's strong willed and driven, but ... those individual pieces don't real count for much if I'm not particularly fond of the bigger picture, the pieces of which they are. Could I write a dating fic for him? Sure. I'm pretty sure I could, but I'm just not drawn to him.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I think my first thoughts, when we were shown just the panels outside of the city, so not the attack itself yet, I was intrigued, because the conversation between Rades and Valtos was obviously going somewhere. And, then, when he was boasting to the little girl about destroying everything she loves, I think my exact thoughts were "wow, you're so screwed up in the head". Also, the words of how Clover and the MKs stabbed him in the back earned no pity points from me at that point. Which... well, I still don't think that I'd grant him pity points from what he did/how he was in the very very beginning of the manga, but he has been growing since then. Granted that he doesn't seem the most eager to atone for his crimes (which I think would be, the most eager to atone for their crimes during the Elf arc, Valtos). But I think that I understand him better. Plus... he was... what, 21? In the beginning of the manga, and by then the events that lead to the attack had been under construction for some years already, most likely, so Rades had been under 20 when he was recruited. My guess would be somewhere between 16-19, because he would have needed to be in the MKs for at least some time before being dismissed. And a 16-19 year old (hell, they wouldn't even need to be a teen, even an... adulty-adult) that is basically kicked out of the society, who is fuelled by anger, can be easily controlled by a cult. His anger was fed and ... justified isn't the right word, because his anger is and was justified, but... encouraged further? So, there definitely are a lot of themes and reasons at play.
