1. The first instances we find of the use of the terms "blorbo", "glub shitto" and "horse" date back to the early 21st century (@henrythe8-mpreg, 2024), although their context suggests that their use was already widely extended by that time. Due to the lack of data and the obscure origin of these expressions, academics in the fields of social media studies and early 21st century linguistics haven't reached an agreement regarding their meaning as of yet, although many different theories have been put forward. The varying opinions on this matter and the strong reactions differing views seem to produce on passionate scholars have made what is widely referred to as "the question of the blorbo" a taboo topic amongst researchers, phenomenon that Lutz connects to the less extended but still relevant issue of the character archetype of the "poor little meow meow" (2159, p.359). The most recent incident regarding the mention of these words occurred last friday, at the "Internet's Vernacular: Linguistics Through The Lens of A Chronically Online Century" conference given at the School of Proto-Contemporary Studies, where, during the round of questions, a first year student, whether out of ignorance or malice remains unknown, raised their hand and inquired "what about Blorbo and Shitto from My Shows? Why is someone putting them through the plinko?" which led to a heated discussion lasting several hours that not even the room moderators could prevent, or stop when it had begun, since everybody including the attendees, the speakers, the organizers, and the security team were involved in it. Sources report 14 injured, from which only one required urgent medical aid and has since been discharged from the hospital (Grayson & Xiao, 2160)
