This is gonna be funny because I don’t think I really love any of my works… but anyways here goes…

Better late than never — my very first piece of writing on here!! (I say on here bc I had an old blog where I wrote, but we shall not talk about that). I really don’t think it’s good at all (I remember writing this in the notes app bc I wanted to write it real quick) but seeing how I improved in my writing since then is just really nice to see (plus it’s gonna make the rest of my works look better LMAOO)

And They Were Roommates — Probably the first long fic that I wrote that I was actually proud of! I really liked the dynamics between y/n and Donghyuck in this for some reason. It was also probably the first e2l fic that I wrote so it’s special to me in a way,,, the trope is hella hard to write well, so props to the writers who do it easily! This one got a bunch of attention, which I was very happy with. 

Eight Count — Another long e2l fic that I wrote!! I actually really enjoyed writing this one and I was so happy with it,,, I think I did a better job of easing into and building the relationship compared to the Hyuck one (MORE GROWTH WOOHOO), so i think that’s why I was actually happy with myself during the process of writing this one. I do think it’s sorta underrated though, but still happy with it nonetheless.

Into My traeH — My first Enha fic! It’s the typical ‘woah, wait I have feelings for you that I didn’t know of?’ trope, but the Hogwarts setting made it a bit more magical (ba dum tss),,, this one’s simple but I found it hella cute so I’d easily recommend this one for the fluff of it. 

If and If II — This two-parter got SO MUCH attention, which I really didn’t get because I don’t think I wrote it well enough for the attention it got (like genuinely), but I guess the idea of the story really appealed to people, which I get. Part one, to me, is ass, but the second part (which I wrote like 10 years later) was written so much better. I’m just plopping this in here because it’s a 'fan favourite' and it gave me a lot of motivation to write and improve more!

Sneaking these in ;; Meant to be (Broken) & All I Want — Ones that are short and simple, but sweet heehee,,, these are those ones that aren’t too short, they’re just to the point and fluffy and are just shots of serotonin! These ones got me giggling when writing them cause they’re so cute so why not add them

auira: i love her sm tbh i think she’s one of my fave characters in the show nd honestly they did her dirty w the characterization…. she’s a genuinely powerful nd talented psychic nd seeing her use her power for petty games nd shit. i feel like she has sm potential. nd even outside her powers he character gets shat on a lot nd yeah she’s kinda annoying or whtv but i feel like she has a depth that ppl don’t see

kusuo: hes fucking annoying lmao i’m sorry but i don’t like him. his tsundere schtick got boring rlly fast. and yeah idc if he helps his friends even after verbally dismissing them like if i was his friend i’d drop him tbh bc the amount of emotional apathy he has is astounding.

toritsuka: unpopular opinion but he’s one of my fave characters i understand him sm. like i feel like he is/can b sm more than the pedo character. i wont say the author did him dirty like his character is like that for a reason but i’d genuinely love to see him act like a normal person and have more emotional depth…

Truths that Co-Exist

Barbie (2023) is a giant product placement that profits off nostalgia.

The writing is profound and life-changing and understands why we seek nostalgia in a way most nostalgia-driven entertainment doesn’t.

The film is self-aware about how even now, Barbie dolls set incredibly unrealistic beauty standards. Their “body diversity” does not even scratch the surface of what that phrase really means. I don’t expect this to change.

The film still made a beautiful statement with the scene on the bench about how societal beauty standards are narrow and restrictive! And that beauty comes from experiencing life and the marks it leaves on you!

Its feminist statements are validating. Many of us see our reality onscreen, and the great thing is that it includes how cishet men fall down a pipeline of toxic hypermasculinity. It also shows the solution, and allows men to express themselves despite what society expects them to be.

The film is a capitalist venture.

The cast (aside from the leads) and crew were probably overworked and severely underpaid during filmmaking.

We can still appreciate that something fun was made, and we all made another wonderful memory where we and our loved ones went to the movies color-matching in pink.

We should not feel guilty about seeing ourselves in this film.

Meanwhile, support the WGA and SAG-Aftra strike.

please be so, so careful taking advice from these people online, as many of them are not formally trained or educated, brand ambassadors, deep in pseudoscientific rabbit holes and unfortunately, there are many out there who struggle with disordered eating habits
