Oh my god I always forget that if Celes got anywhere near a gacha game it'd be over for her. Like she would be so lucky she'd probably get a ton of good cards, but then she'd have at least six different gacha games on her phone at a time and Kyoko would be forced to convince her that no trying to pull this five-star is not worth nearly the mortgage on the home

Silly thought: It's quite common for trends to happen in any gathering of kids. One year it's friendship bracelets (They're always there, but some years they get more popular than others). Some years it's yo-yos, for a hot minute it was slap bracelets before they all broke.

For some strange reason, the *worst* pandemic of child's toys were the dreaded Worm-on-a-string. Some enterprising child must have packed a thousand of them in their suitcase. Every camper had at least a dozen. Sasha found them in his lab even though no-one but him had been to the GPC for weeks, Oleander found a few tucked into his ammunition belt (turned out to be a trend among campers). Milla thought it was adorable and praised some children for turning a bunch into a beaded curtain that still decorates her apartment wall at the Motherlobe.

Turns out, worm-on-a-string is a lot more popular when you don't need the string to make it move. It all came to a head one day when the camp bully of that week found a confiscated stash of them and -one half-failed blastokinesis attempt later: worms-on-strings could be found throughout the camp half-sizzled and hanging from every tree, lamp hanger, and annoyed adult's shoulder. It has since been dubbed "Worm Week".

(I am very sleep-deprived I really hope this silliness makes sense).
