Had a great time moderating the Mass Effect reunion panel I organized with @ladytoxie and Tali's VA (Ash Sroka). The cast is such an amazing and fun group of people to interact with, and it was just a very special experience for everyone to be together and talk about a game series we all love so much with some of its characters. As this is the first panel I have moderated EVER, I have also been so moved by the amount of people who have told me they had a wonderful time, including the actors.

as someone who knew nothing about the books or show until i watched it last year on a whim, i was a belly x conrad girlie. i still am, but man, with season 2 already foreshadowing how much theyre soulmates, i feel bad jeremiah doesnt get a fair and fighting chance as belly’s love interest. every time he is, it’s just an afterthought. and it makes the “love triangle” a lot less intriguing bc, well, theres nothing to be intrigued about!!! theres no pining, we all know — even jeremiah himself — that she will always have conrad as number #1. justice for jeremiah and belly to have a fair love story actually

#shummy screaming into the void #finally updated my crusty old resume lol #its nearly a year old and ive actually become way more knowledgeable on how to cater my experiences to this one #i actually did manage to have an interview with them a few months ago BUT didnt get the job #which is fair tbh. we did have a really fun conversation though because im actually somewhat comfortable in that working enviroment #and they pay...really well??? like 17-25 an hour for PT positions. they're opening up a new location this year and actually told me to appl #again to more positions because we hit it off. #at my current job hopefully ill be able to go in soon. even though i am extremely reluctant tbh. #lowkey wont stay there for more than 3 months cause. retail is not for me. but i need MONEY SO #sorry for rambling oops #but this new jobs barely interviewed before hiring so thats....a sign of something

#i actually got offered a promotion in a different department last month but my department made a counter offer lol #for a new job that i still had to interview for even though i was the only candidate #the interview was today and i was truly abysmal but the fact that there was. no competition. pulled me through 👍 #anyway girlboss slay! i start in 2 weeks and need to finish so much stuff until then #and will prob be doing some of my current job alongside my new job for like.... 2 months #lol! fun! now that's over i need to finally finish editing my chapter! this chapter which is like. an albatross around my neck at this point #bye!! hope i don't post again until i've finished everything i need to do today!!!!!! #tmi

actually applied for a job im a bit optimistic abt 🙏

#i already applied to the same place over christmas and had a really good phone interview like two weeks ago and then never heard back #but the interviewer really liked me i think and its a good location and i like the sound of this job a lot and its hiring full and part tim #it sounds easy and maybe even fun? ish? it sounds like something i would be good at anyway #basically being a companion to residents at a nursing home #like taking them on their daily walk and keeping them entertained lol #and helping with some educational stuff #i can def do that i used to do it with disabled kids it was super easy and also old people love me lol #as long as they actually hire me lol #this is thr first job i've been excited about in a while #but i was excited about the last one and it was terrible so....lol #but i hope i get it then at least i'll know #and it probably cant be as bad as the last one anyway so i could tough it out for a while until i got something better tbh #but hopefully it will be good #pay isn't the absolute greatest but i could do it for the convenience of the location and a job thag doesn't suck #at least for a while #anyway i hope i get it!! 🙏 #this has been a shitpost #anyway before i applied for part time receptionist at the same place and didn't get it but this is a better sounding job #and they're hiring full and part time so possibly multiple positions? #and i have more relevant experience for this one

Honestly I’m going to give First Comes Love’s whole jealousy thing a chance because I think the only point where it would turn personally uncomfortable for me, is an narratively unchallenged and active sabotage of Rebecca. If it’s more of a “I feel jealous yeah but I’m more trying to demonstrate to Blake how much we’re still alike in the hopes that maybe they might make a different choice” or even a recantation of sabotage after a character arc , that’s an angle I personally enjoy in slice of life more. Character arc about that sabotage or not sabotage at all are my two preferred options ig but we’ll see how it goes
