Knight what if we made an AU where Hilda, Hilbert, and Iris are the human forms/hosts of Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem
Like the three dragons are definitely weaker then how they were when they’re were the Original Dragon. But like what if being split apart made them to weak? Cause I’m sure if energy for one body got split apart for three different bodies then it wouldn’t be enough to support it for long
So imagine sometime after the war with the two brothers, instead of turning into the stones to regain their energy and heal up, they instead find a host to take over so they can stay awake and heal at the same time
I can’t think of a logical reason for Kyurem to find a host as well. Just didn’t want to be left out ig
But idk if the three dragons would switch hosts every few decades when their host is getting older and they can’t survive of the low energy anymore, or if the three dragons asked a favour from Arceus and practically made the twins and Iris almost immortal
Like the three of them still age, just verrrry slowly. I imagine they became hosts at age 10 and 14 but in present time they’re teenagers/young adults. Or if we go with the first option, Iris, Hilda, and Hilbert just happen to be the newest hosts the three dragons have chosen for the next few decades
I don’t think it’s painful or energy draining for the host, it’s more like they share their energy together so they both benefit from it. Like the dragons get to live and heal, and the host gets cool side effects cause they’re technically part dragon and fire/elec/ice type now
But anyways, what do you think? Pick whichever one you think makes more sense or you like more
Actually one more thing, if we’re going with the three of them being the original hosts. You know how old people will tell younger people “you have it easier than I did when I was your age” Iris can technically hold that over Draydens head causes she’s probably 300+ years older than him lmao
Ohhh👀👀👀
Wait no that's cool tho I'm such a sucker for that kinda au bcmdnd hahah reminds me of Venom hahaha
Idk, I like the concept where they're the most recent host, idk those kinda concepts are cool, it's like Venom—
No but y'know, how did they even managed to find the kids, and decided they'd be hosts. Cause if it's like the events of BW, then N got the other stone before the twins?? Or maybe in this au, the twins came across the stones while out on their journey, and like, yeah the Dragons showed themselves and promises them power?? Or maybe they told the twins that they just needed somewhere to stay, and ofc they were probs still so young they believed what the dragons said, so they didn't fucking expect for the dragons to actually share their bodies, becoming their new hosts hfkdbd
Like that's also a bit fucked y'know, cause you're like, living w the fact someone else is sharing your body, and no one else knows, and not like you can get them out too, as they have enough control over your body as they do. Like that must've messed with them y'know. Idk if the dragons are like good in this au, but if not, imagine how much the kids are actually suffering tho
Pfft tenfold for Iris fucking imagine bc Kyurem's like, the most empty between the trio, some of his features are also seen on Iris, as if they're really becoming a singular person rather than just Kyurem living within Iris' body. Like imagine some of his scales on her shoulders and her arms, sometimes her eyes turn gold, her nails become sharp like claws now, even her teeth are sharp, her voice would sometimes sound so raspy, as if she was left in the cold for so so long, and she's trying to hide it from everyone else. And Kyurem wasn't nice either, he still wanted power, wanted to find Zekrom or Reshiram to take their own power again, to become the Original Dragon once more
And like yeah, they get cool powers and such, but y'know, they probs don't know how to control it, they probably hurt someone on accident and they have to live w the fact that they probs almost killed someone too. Also it'd be cool if they also had the memories of the dragons hahah like imagine also having to live with the fact that they know what happened in the past, all the destruction, the deaths, everything. Like that's gotta fuck em up hahaha

Ever tried old Emmet but young ingo? Like time passed for Emmet but not for ingo type idea, really cursed idea but still
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi anon, thanks for the ask! I Think this will be worse emotionally for sure!!!
Hahaha, I chatted about it a bit with @belltrigger and here's some thoughts -
So for this AU, 10 years pass for Emmet and only 1 or 2 pass for Ingo. It's quite bad for Emmet, because he has all his memories. I think Emmet spent a few years being the boss of the Subway, hoping that Ingo will come back and be proud that Emmet was able to keep up the reputation of the Subway. He absolutely killed himself with overwork, didn't take care of himself, and was always close to snapping.
Then he spent a few years actively looking for Ingo out in the world. He exhausted a lot of time, resources, and money. He got leads then dead ends. He probably had a lot of bad dreams. And then after just a long time, he came back and had shifted from waiting and looking for Ingo, to accepting that Ingo was gone.
Emmet becomes very bitter, closed off, and lonely.
And then Ingo comes back?!
And it's great! and Terrible. He's angry, and upset - and guilty cause it wasn't Ingo's fault. He's also so so tired and has long term habits formed alone that are hard to change now that Ingo is back in his life.
It's a rougher go especially if theres a recovering Ingo who is still piecing together his memories. He wants to rely on Emmet too but he also feels very guilty of leaving him alone for so long and feels extremely saddened by how hurt Emmet is. You can't really soothe such years long pain very quickly.
I have a few other drawing ideas - mostly jokey ones to cope. I have a melancholic idea as well. I'll probably stick to old!Ingo and young!Emmet cause it's just easier for me to handle emotionally X) But this idea is very interesting! Lots of angst potential.

I present to you:
An alternative:
Garth decides that enough is enough, and to take matters at hand, to help not only reader, but also his wufe mental health. So he ventures in the forest, to try and bargain
(Or smt, im sure u could come with a better idea for the bargain or just the plan in general)
So, with garth in the forest. Who knows what could happend... and also theres a storm approaching...
When Eileen figures what happened, gets all panicked, but reader intervenes. Reader knows that the forest wont kill them (in theory), and bc garth is now part of readers family, they promise to retrieve him.
So a rescue mision begins, an exchange perhaps...
I mean, imagine the potential self sacrifice, the room for angst and love and family and and and (sorry, i got excited bc i know that youre an amazing writter)
Also, picture this: finally in the clear, between the flowers, and the rain is suspended mid air. How magical would that be
[Btw sorry for my broken english, not my first lenguage]
[[Feel free to dont answet to any of my anons btw hahaha, 0 pressure, i just like to ramble sometimes]]
I haven't even planned far enough for this but i love it skfjdkdj
Also picture this Garth kissing Honey on the forehead and tucking both his wife and child into bed before venturing into the forest that's the main cause for traumatizing two important people in his life, confident he would see them again. No doubt in his mind that he'd come back.
And the reader panicking themselves even though they had to calm down Eileen enough to watch Honey by herself so they could go get him. But when they get to that bridgeway of reality and not-field, they find Garth sitting next to Wilbur as they talk quietly.
"What's going on?"
They turn to the reader and that's when a path of bluebells sprouted around Wilbur and them, a few stalks of sunflowers cover Garth. "Just a conversation, about you, about Eileen, nothing bad." Wilbur promises with a smile full of teeth.
Garth has his own smile, one that the reader recognized.
Wilbur walks them through the exit of the field, rain falling up till they're near the edge of the forest, its when the rain stops falling point blank. "Will you visit soon?" He doesn't follow, he doesn't speak to Garth, just looks at the reader.
He doesn't ask, he just does what he wants. But considering their conversation, that the reader will probably never find out about... "yes." Wilbur's eyes are significantly brighter and as the two finally stepped back into the cabin's backyard, the rain started to downpour on them and the reader couldn't find Wilbur in the treelines.
Eileen refuses to let Garth leave the bed, the reader offering to watch Honey for them while Eileen and Garth have their Fifth Element Ending moment.

Ngl I was kinda disappointed musa wasnt the fairy of musa bc I'm an og fan but I LOVED Rivens whole stay away from me thing in s1 like hahaha let's see how long that lasts. Also reading all the rivusa fics on ao3 exploring her powers and how that plays into their dynamic like Riven only trying to hide his feelings behind one emotion infront of her etc has totally made me change my tune so now I absolutely love it & what it means for the rivusa dynamic im excited theres so much potential😫😭🤡
I think that’s totally valid and your right as an original fan! From what I’ve seen, the only way OGs really enjoy it is by treating it as a separate thing, which is fair enough.
The empath thing is gonna make some excellent angst (as we’ve already seen the potential with the amazing fics!). Imagine if we get a parallel of the “stay out of my head” with something like “I can’t get her out of my head” when he’s falling for her cksksk
