Ref sheet time!! These guys belong in the paracosm "Phantasmagoria", in the "As the World Falls Down" subcosm.

As the World Falls Down, aka AtWFD/Origins, is The Prequel. To what, exactly? uuuhhhh everything! Basically Life & Death get divorced and have an epic custody battle. Not so basically, Vitalis/Life is trying to kill Lumi & Shadow bc...he hates happiness I dunno man. But they manage to escape Earth I along with their guards (Eloise & Ketrill), Emory, and Theia. Unfortunately, they get separated, and are trying to find each other in the background of Eternal Labyrinth (Phanta/MaaC/FF).

The only ones not pictured are Eloise & Fifi, because I have 0 ideas for them atm.

So Vitalis (Life) & Theia (Death) were part of a small pantheon on Earth I. Their worshipers were animals -- but like sort of the anthro/furry kind, y'know. Anyway, things were fine for a bit, with the two living happily, though they couldn't interact often/for long due to the nature of their jobs.

Then Vitalis created Humans. They were meant to be a gift for Theia, since whatever Vitalis created would eventually end up in her kingdom. Of course, Humans are Humans, and they make things exceedingly difficult for the anthro-furry creatures. During this time, Vitalis gets a lot more...cruel, beginning to take sadistic joy in how they all hurt each other. He started making more, adding fuel to the fire and giving the two sides more reasons/scenarios to hate each other in. It was basically a 12yo discovering oc making for the first time.

Theia, however, did not see the "fun" side of things, only seeing the tragedy and aftermath from those who entered her kingdom. She saw lives lost, families torn apart, and was starting to resent Vitalis for doing all this. Especially since it was, supposedly, all for her. She didn't want this. Yes, she was Death, but she didn't want people to enter her kingdom earlier than they were meant to. But, as she was Death, she couldn't do anything to stop Vitalis, so she broke it off with him, in hopes that maybe he'd see what he was doing isn't what she wants. (hint: he, in fact, did not, and somehow got worse)

Earth I was basically anthro animals (think Zootopia) before Humans were invented and fucked everyone over, so. Everyone from AtWFD has Animal Associations.

Theia: crows, ravens, white/tuxedo cats

I've come to the conclusion / realization that I have 2 types of Verits: Autonomous & Reoccurring.

Autonomous Verits are the ones that can, well, control when / where they appear in the daydream / paracosm; the paras I can "talk" directly to and get an actual answer from. Theia, Emory, Ketrill fall into this category.

Reoccurring Verits are the ones that somehow always end up in my paracosms. They're regular paras, but their personality remains the same, despite the fact that their name/backstory/appearance doesn't. It's....sort of like an actor getting typecast, in a sense? An example of this would be Rowan, Tim, & Jonathan. All are the 'Dad'/Voice of Reason in their respective groups, somehow always tired, and has some type of religious themes/imagery in their backstory. Hell, even their boyfriends are similar [ray of sunshine that has adhd & is into theater].

Which brings me, sort of, to my next point: only 3 'paras' [quotes because, again, it's more like character archetypes] fit into this category: Rowan/Tim/Jonathan, Calypso/Brian/Jervis, Jordan/Ben/Eddie [since I didn't explain them: tech genius, arrogant, invents shit]. I should also mention that the three of them all end up as a trio together for some reason.

The Queen of Death and her loyal guard dogs sons, aka: Theia (Angel of Death), Ketrill (King of Shadows), Emory (Librarian / Interdimensional Demonic Cat).

Theia is Ketrill & Emory's....mother. sort of. In Emory's words, "she's the closest thing we have to one", and Ketrill calls her Mom sometimes. I'm pretty sure she created Ketrill for a Specific Purpose....Emory just. goes where he wants I suppose.

but anyway these are my Verits & I will be charging them rent, bitches have been living in my head rent free for far too long & I know for a FACT they have the money so gimme 🤲🤲🤲🤲

Ketrill likes to play the violin (he plays the violin while vin plays the piano...its so cute 🥺).

Theia wears exclusively all black dresses.

Emory's head is very soft and kissable [reminder: he is a cat] (he also didn't want to provide a fun fact, probably bc I've talked about him so much already).
