Just found yet another instance of Lesbian Pharah overshadowing Bisexual Baptiste

They put Pharah being a lesbian in the headline, and spend most of it gushing about the fact and how big this will be for Pharmercy shippers

and then towards the end they have like a paragraph about Baptiste being bisexual, which not only feels like an afterthought, but is also factually incorrect

"though it's yet to be confirmed in any official Overwatch 2 media"

um, then what the fuck is this, Joshua Robertson?

There is literally an unlockable playercard of Baptiste with bisexual flag colours. I think a literal in-game graphic counts as his sexuality being confirmed in "official Overwatch 2 media", don't you?

Once again, this really goes to show how people barely give a shit about bisexual representation. Two queer characters get confirmed on the same day, and people can't even be bothered to give them equal billing.

Eustass Kid, the classic 'Bully’

-not a nice guy, really. will straight up beat the daylight out of people, for very little reason.

"I'm sorry," the poor boy sobs, nearly shaking on the floor.

Kid scoffs, kicking into the boy's gut, forcing out an airy sob. "This really wouldn't have happened if you weren't such a little bitch about it," he sneers. 

Kid doesn't remember what he requested of the boy. He didn't have to; the boy's pleas and babbles told him that whatever it was, he'd failed. No matter who you are, you don't disappoint Eustass Kid. Don't deceive him, don't fail him, and don't challenge him, unless you can take it on. 

-enter: you, the classic 'New Kid.' you couldn't take him on. not physically, at least. and yet…

"Leave him alone!" you shout. 

Kid shifts his gaze to you. He doesn't bother paying attention to any of the other students, but he could tell you were new; you were stupid enough to try and 'step up' to him. What a fucking idiot, he thinks.

With all your might, you lug your backpack at him and, while he's worried about the bag flying at him, you body slam into him with all your might. He takes a step back out of surprise, but other than that, he's not shaken at all. 

The boy tries to stand up quietly. Gather his things and scurry away while Kid is distracted. Without hesitation, or even taking his eyes off you, Kid crushes the boy's spirits—and windpipe, probably—with a harsh kick to the neck. 

Your focus shifts now, worried more about the injured boy than the big bad bully. Pushing past Kid, you crouch towards the sobbing boy, choking for air. 

"Oh, darling, come here," you murmur, sitting down properly and carefully helping him sit up. You encourage him to lean on you. 

As you wrack your brain as to how to help properly, your hair is pulled into a tight grasp, forcing your head back, making you look at Kid. 

"Don't tell me you forgot about me," the redhead sneers. 

"Just wait a moment, won't you?" you sigh, harshly clicking your tongue, not concerned with his attempts to intimidate you. 

He begins pulling you up towards him by your hair. The boy, practically on your lap at this point, begins to slip from your grasp. ⁰⁰`⁰¹

You feel bad about doing it, but it is what it is. You raise your arm just enough to have enough power to land a harsh jab with your elbow, directly into his—

"Fucking hell!" he shouts, gritting his teeth with locked knees, trying his best not to keel over. +++Rage

 He lets go of your hair as you carefully help the boy up, letting him lean his weight on you. 

Even he can't toughen through a strike to the crotch, leaving you free to guide the boy to the nurse's. ⁰⁰`¹⁰ The nurse isn't there: only a black haired boy in the school uniform, sitting at the desk. He doesn't bother turning in the swivel chair to face you. 

"Is something the matter?" he asks, voice flat. 

The boy leaning on you sputters a sob before you can say anything, and that seems to grab his attention.

Trafalgar Law, the classic 'Loner'

-a med student, focused far more on graduating than anything.

He rushes to help the boy lie down on one of the beds. You sit beside the bed, far enough so that he has room, but close enough to offer reassurance, softly laying your hand atop his. 

"He'll be okay, right? Would we need help from professionals?" you ask, trying to still your bouncing leg. 

"Dr. Kureha should be here soon. She's perfectly qualified," he mumbles, fingertips carefully grabbing and distributing a small amount of what you assume are painkillers.

He offers them, along with a small paper cup worth of water, to the boy. The boy barely swallows them, before lying back down, shaking and fading consciousness. 

Law tosses the paper cup into the bin, alongside several crushed cans of canned coffee.

You nod. "I'm glad that he'll be okay here, then." As if on cue, an older lady enters the room. 

"What's happened this time?" she grumbles, shuffling towards the boy who has since passed out.

"Dr. Kureha," he acknowledges with a curt nod.

"Well…" You briefly recount what had happened, explaining more of his injuries than the situation.

"Hmm. What's your relation to this boy?" she asks, examining his bruising neck. 

"I don't know him. Thank you for your help, though please excuse me for a moment."

Law and Dr. Kureha share a glance as you slip out of the room. +interest

You look around. It's around here somewhere—you remember seeing 2 vending machines side by side on your way—there it is. 

You swipe your card and punch in B2 twice. 2 canned coffees. When you get back to the nurse's office, you transfer one coffee to your elbow before pushing open the door. ⁰⁰`⁰⁵

"I brought drinks, if you want them," you offer.

"What a sweetheart," Dr. Kureha says. +love 

She takes a can and pops it open. 

You hold the other out to Law, who takes it with a slight hint of hesitance. +gratitude

"Thank you again," you say, bowing.

Dr. Kureha scoffs. "It's my job, kid, don't sweat it."

"Then, I'll be on my way. I'm glad to know he's in capable hands. Please have a good day!" 

As you exit, she calls out, "Don't get yourself in any more trouble. Don't want you endin' up here for yourself."

"I won't!" you assure quickly, before closing the door. 

You make your way through campus, heading towards your homeroom class. You think. You try your best to read the map of the campus, but it's a bit difficult to navigate. More students fill the walkways, making it even worse to figure out where you are.

Though, with the crowded feeling, you can't help but feel like you're out of place. Not just because you're lost, either. Your back feels strangely free, and your shoulders feel light.

Oh. Your backpack. +Stress

It's troublesome to get yourself back to the courtyard, and when you do get back, your bag is nowhere in sight. ++Stress ⁰⁰`¹⁰

Fuck. What are you supposed to do?
