2 > Everything and Anything is a weapon. Do not let people guilt trip you, do not let people call you out. If you want to call someone out its easy as fuck to do because everyone has a few flaws and that are stapled on their faces. So if someone insults you. You can very easily insult them back. Its easy to make fun of others, and if someone makes fun of you. Its their turn 👹
3 > Everyone chooses their fights very carefully because they are insecure of not coming off strong with this in mind. If someone is willing to fight you, you must at least be aware that they fully believe they will win. If they didn't believe it, they wouldnt try it. Now let me point out that this philosophy. Is some bitch shit. You are all setting the difficulty of your game boys to easy, because you only show others your teeth when it suits you. Sometimes you will be forced to fight in situations where you cannot win. And since you've been practising life on 'easy' you are an easy kill.
4 > Fight someone good at fighting. I notice everyone likes to kill the easy kill, but everyone usually shuts the fuck up when someone notorious walks in the room. And this is all a miserable display of ego isn't it.
5 > You can never tell who is and who isn't good at fighting. Many people keep to themselves and some people are very loud and obnoxious, and they are thought to be intimidating, but I shit you not if you step on them a little bit, they will react very quickly. and far too often there is a reason the quiet one is quiet. They may be afraid of fighting. But question why they are afraid of fighting? If someone is afraid. You must realize there is a reason to be afraid. And if they show you what they saw (its not too hard to mimic) you will realize the quiet one. is always. the darkest. Quiet is displayed in many ways, quiet. is not revealing. Those who reveal. Are revealing because they are not afraid. Quiet is unrevealing. Quiet is afraid. And with a simple change in mindset the quiet one knows how to truly inspire fear. Which today seems to be the only way to fight. Have you seen anyone knocking each other out? Jail is a pretty effective incentive to stop each other from entering physical altercations. Oh and the worst part about this set up? Jail is full of physical displays of dominance. But we are afraid of doing so irl. LOL so we are all fucked if we go to jail I suppose ;p
6 > What is the price of winning? Winning requires you to be humble. No one cares for an arrogant winner. When you win it far too often feels bitter sweet because everyone else is caught up in giving you bullshit flattery, and the other half is so bitter they are biting their tongues. Do not regret losing, its honestly burden relieving. Winning should not be taken for granted nor congratulated because you stole someones happyness "Hey its okay buddy :D" type shit will piss anyone off lmao.
7 > Modern warfare is disgusting. We are mental abusers but not physical abusers. most of us restrain ourselves. We just unleash our rage through our minds because thats what society demands (some use emotions but that is a whole nother topic initself). And well with this in mind. The winner is usually the one who gave the other person the biggest reality check. And its sad. who won really? no one ever does. we just sharpened each others insult sword. kinda sad reality right :/ hey at least no one died. but we are killing their souls :D good job everybody now cmon lets insult each other like internet trolls :D
8 > Do you even know what you want? What do you even want to gain. Is the other person going to change their mind. are you looking for an apology? really assess what you want when you fight or pursue something. because far too often I notice people are pretty goalless and have not much reason to fight. So they just fight when someone steps on their little toes. Like someone pointing out the flaws in something personal always gets defensive. But ask yourself why you being defensive? Like they are probably right. We all have our reasons to live, but that comes with flaws that are stigmatized by each of our own little society's ways of conforming. Usually you are triggered by a wound, as you know how it feels to be cut their, the scar reopens. And your afraid of feeling fear. But if you show someone your not afraid of something that once scared you. Well you learned the art of war my fren
9 > Mars requires fearlessness. If we still fought each other today. with swords and shit. Would you withhold your strike? Or would you strike their weak points? Ofc this is a matter of life and death so you will kill them. But most of you dont realize their is an energy here. And the more you surrender to others whims. The more you gave others victory over you. And this causes a stifling energy of insecurity, and lack of strength / belief. So if you want to fight for something. You fight to the death. Unless you dont bvelieve in it. Then you should not be fighting. Everyone must fight for something. Nothing is more enthralling then fighting and finding something worth fighting for.

On top of Viv being pure shit at writing, crap designs, awful production methods etc what gets me is just how *mean* everything is, I had to see a clip where one character almost said the R word before swapping to “really can’t say that anymore” as a “joke” about how people got mad she used it in a pilot. Just an awful garbage human being and I hate seeing how much fan art and attention those shitty shows get
The actual reason that scene is hilarious is she uses Blitz to make the writing equivalent of a subtweet to mope about how people don't find it charming when Blitz calls other characters slurs, and how he's not "allowed" the r-word anymore, the resentful self-awareness is radiating off this moment
but then later in this same scene, he is, without that same level of irony, depicted as being hurt by the stupid fantasy slur viv made up for imps for a child to call him, and confronting the mother about where the child possibly learned such a word, and it does not at all feel like it was a deliberate evolution of his character, it doesn't even feel at all connected to the start of the scene where he avoided using a slur himself, because the entire tone changes in how its presented, and then he will go right back to using other unrelated slurs within 30 seconds
blitzo isnt bothered by slurs unless they are aimed at him, because viv thinks slurs are funny until she needs to woobify an awful cartoon dad because it's bad if THEY get called something mean (they can be as mean as they want to anybody else though. but cmon. everyone has problems. especially dads. go easy on horrible dads guys, that's my aesop).
like. now that it's time to remind you you're supposed find Blitz sympathetic despite not earning that, at all, ever, suddenly there's a ridiculous N-word for imps ("fire toads") and he just got called that and now you're supposed to take the harm of slurs and how they propagate seriously and you're supposed to hate the demon-racist bitch who he confronts about it, but also remember to then be like Oh Blitz You Lovably Flawed Rascal when he turns right around and resumes calling any other character any real-life slur under the sun that viv felt like cramming in his mouth today

Workin on art at 5:30am and watching Vendetta, so to procrastinate even longer, here is:
Resident Evil Vendetta: Why Leon and Rebecca’s Positions Should Have Been Swapped
• Rebecca is not a damsel in distress please stop doing this to RE women (female characters in general, hate to be that guy), let Rebecca be the prodigious badass tyrant slayer she has been since day fucking one
• Leon’s entire arc would be improved in the way Chris’ sort of was if he was kidnapped and had time to think about who he is and why he’s come as far as he has, as well as accepting that he can’t always be the dashing hero and that sometimes he needs help too
• We could FINALLY re-explore the dynamic between Chris and Rebecca!! Don’t get me wrong, I love the relationship between Chris and Leon I love the part where they said “it’s gay sex Thursday” and then started making out on the chopper, but cmon. These were the ORIGINAL guys, the goobers, the oomfies, they were partners then and they could have been again
• We might have had more of a chance to catch up with what Rebecca has been doing all this time, we haven’t seen her since 0, or the stage play if you’re insane like I am, and I feel like we deserved to see her in action. It’s totally in line with her character to take more of a backseat to the action, having more of an interest in the science and medical aspects, that’s all good, but she’s still trained in combat and marksmanship. Can you imagine a scene of Rebecca showing off her skills, especially to Leon? Dude that would rock so unbelievably hard cmon.
• Chris has this continued theme in his life of losing people close to him and it reflects in the way he treats his partners/teams. This is just a flaw with the movie in general (which I continue to enjoy despite its. Yknow. Everything~), but we never got to see much of that. Obviously that whole theme was generally resolved in 5 and then continued into 6, but I feel like whether it’s Leon or Rebecca, Chris should have been, like. Way more freaked about it? Staying professional and all, but Jesus Christ man, you’re gonna exchange one liners and cool gun slow-no scenes with MCR over here in the hallway while you have less than 20 minutes to both SAVE and CURE someone who has been by your side for upwards of 20 years whom you have befriended and relied on numerous times??? Whatever! Whatever!
• Arias should have had a MUCH higher interest in obtaining Leon if he wanted his revenge plan work out. He’s already a suuuuper iffy character, I too would be mad if the government dropped a bomb on my wedding and killed almost everyone I held dear, but also I didn’t do arms dealing and bioterrorism so. Maybe reflect on that man. But anyway, the A-Virus already has a lot in common with the Plaga. Arias ABSOLUTELY could improve this connection via a sample of Leon’s blood and an examination of whatever’s left in his nervous system; if done right, this could have handled the virus nearly unstoppable. But instead, he opted to, uh…steal a woman that looks like his wife? Yeah, her blood with the antibodies made the virus stronger, but he had NO IDEA OF THAT. He totally lucked out there. Now, information about the Plaga would be easily attainable for a man of Arias’ profession and status among the underworld of crime or whatever, all that shit, and Leon’s name would absolutely be among that information. It’s just so much more convenient? Makes so much more sense?? Literally aids his evil plan???
I’m sure there’s more reasons I’m forgetting because the amount of times I’ve ranted about this is ridiculous, but like. Cmon cmon cmon I beg
If someone makes art or like rewrites the story like this tag me in it I beg of you like idk if this will incite any inspiration this is just my special weird take on a my special weird movie

a little sad and frustrated again over HFY. I used to love all these stories, and I’ll admit I haven’t been involved in it lately so I could be completely wrong, but are there any... good stories anymore?
(ngl this is just a vent post about nothing important bc I love to complain, but hey if you have any recommendations... ;_;)
It feels like so many of them steal ideas from one another, and- fine. It IS a fandom, after all. That’s kind of the point. But it seems like so many stories out there are just really wonky (barely there) science facts without any real overarching story. Or stories with interesting ideas but NO drive to explore them. It’s just “woooa humans have this funny organ/bio-chemical and it makes them WAY BETTER than these weak silly aliens who have the personality of a wet napkin haha!” (which is its own problem too ngl)
(and some of them are like, ‘posted 8 hrs ago’ and blatantly rips off a 5m youtube video that just came out about the exact same super niche trivia knowledge... like... cmon)
And then there are the... pro-war, weirdly eugenics-y ones out there that make you raise your brow at the moral. Like all the stories where humans (or whoever) have to prove their personhood, and then... they do. They prove it, as if they needed to in the first place. Or the ones like “fuck with humanity and find out” and then the aliens fuck around and they find out, and there’s SO MANY of those, why are there so many...?
And like I’m not saying there can’t be stories with complex and flawed societies! I’ve read great stories out there like that! It just doesn’t feel like those are being written anymore, and any sense of nuance has been lost, exchanged for this sense of genetic or mental superiority, and it’s so off-putting...
And I think it’s frustrating ‘cause I have read super amazing stories that frankly, baffling that they’re free?? Like, published-book-quality stories I would’ve been glad to pay for. I remember Prey, an unfinished story where humans were one of two of the only predatory species in the galaxy - and sure, it wasn’t perfect, the enemy was genetically evil. But, as the human race was being shown in its complexities within the story, and their predatory-nature was mostly political and they directly acknowledge the more nuanced hunter-gatherer type of background humanity has had, maybe there would’ve eventually been something like that for the other species too. Sad it ended, but it was showing a lot of promise for unraveling more nuanced ideas along the way.
And then there’s Betty Adam’s short stories! Where, yes, the humans are wacky but their alien counterparts are just as wacky, too! And, not only are the alien cultures unique, but so are the individuals within the cultures as well! And they’re not all just drab fucking dry and salty fucking white-coat scientists! (Just god how much I have come to loath that character sub-type) (I should just be reading those ones honestly, like can I tell you how fucking refreshing it was that, instead of reading another adrenaline-story ((you know the ones they’re ALL the same)) I read a short story where a cleaner wouldn’t start cleaning cause someone moved his favorite broom, and an insectoid person was like ‘what does it matter lol also you have a favorite broom???’)
And then the shorter stories that actually had heart to them, stories that were smaller in scale but just as passionate as the galaxy-wide stories. I remember this one where a man crashes onto a planet, and is rescued by the aliens living there, only they don’t live as long as he does... he ages so slow in comparison that he becomes a sort of living historian/weather predictor for them, and when he finally dies at the end, its like such a profound shift, like this man who has seen generations after generations of this species live and grow and thrive, and he’s just... gone, too. Like everything else that came before.
I dunno. I just needed to vent about it I guess. I miss those stories. Maybe they still exist and I just can’t find them because the sites they’re posted to aren’t really meant for story-archiving and they become buried and lost, but if they’re there then I cannot find them, and I get sad thinking about that too.

what are your strong opinions on Mabel I genuinely want to know
ok there are/were sooo many people who were like "omg mabel is so selfish" which i fucking hate Hello. like it kinda makes me sad how common this was bc it was kinda affirmed in dont dimension it bc part of the plot was mabel working on that but i dont think it was as bad as people made it out to be. like almost everyone in the show is self centered to an extent. like thats a major part of conflict resolution for almost every episode plot. i think a lot of people would cite sock opera as an instance of mabel being selfish but there are other similar episodes with dipper. like in time travelers pig he has to make a sacrifice for mabel to be happy which he is upset about but like cmon man its never gonna work out anyway. you can call most of the characters selfish but it doesnt really hold any weight because its a problem they all overcome. thats a big part of the show. i think a lot of people also like to say mabel caused weirdmageddon. while yes, she did unknowingly give bill the rift, it wouldve been completely avoided if it werent for ford and dipper. ford told dipper not to tell mabel about it, and dipper absolutely looked up to ford and believed him that it was the right thing to do. mabel had no clue what could happen, and the whole thing couldve been avoided if dipper had told her. really if you wanna go all the way back everything is fords fault. Oops! but like yeah. its definitely a character flaw but its not any worse in mabel than it is in any of the other characters, people just hate 12 year old girls

I am so emotional while typing this, can’t believe this is the last time I get to this.
Honestly not much to say. It truly was a finale, they tried everything and the struggle this series has seen, I am not in mood nor in favor of complaining.

Porche is the new head. (I want to say time will tell what havoc this causes in the lives of all, but season 2 needs to be announced, hence I will put this out in the universe)
All in all that’s a pretty darn way to wrap things up I must say.
I am so emotional and a ball of mess. I might have missed some things but I Can’t believe I have nothing to look forward to. KinnPorche has truly been an experience I will never forget and will continue to relish in its glory and base that it has created.
Let’s get out of the fictional world, and enjoy the hard work and creativity of the people playing these amazingly flawed and rugged characters in real life. We always have 14 episodes to binge on!!!!

Oh dear, remembering and choosing… not my strongest points ;-) chugs coffee also, i'll cheat, sorry ^_^;; because my focus is bad, and has only gotten worse with every passing year, so i find it harder and harder to read, watch, etc. i'm also very, very bad at rereading/rewatching, in part because i don't want to be disappointed and find flaws or discover my tastes are different and what i'd invested in just isn't my thing any longer. So, some of this stuff is more about what was formative, touched me at one point, than things i'm necessarily still into.
Tagging whoever is interested! i'm uncomfortable tagging specific people because i don't want anyone to feel like they must, or alternatively that i forgot them.
Five Essentials:
- Quiet and alone time.
- An Internet connection: most of my friendships happen online, it's vital for work, and of course entertainment. Preferably on a desktop, if not then a laptop, if i must... fine, my phone.
- Silly mindless computer games. It used to be card games, these days it’s computer mah-jong.
i used to love an old… Wikipedia tells me in English it’s called a breakout game? You're throwing a ball at a wall of bricks to break them. Mine wouldn’t work when i was playing something on Winamp at the same time, back in the day on my first computer. Never found one i liked as much, sadly!
i need those games to forget myself and drop into some sort of trance-like state, though it's not working as well as it used to. (Where's that bricks game when you need it)
Some games that sound like they should fit my needs stress me out, like snake, minesweeper, Tetris.
- Fandom. Once the Internet became more widely available and my English was good enough, 20+ years ago, i jumped in and never looked back, though at some times it’s a looser connection than at others. It’s given me language knowledge, cultural knowledge, the escapism I sorely need at times, skills (especially once I started organising events), friendships <3 …
- i won’t go out without a colour-changing lil necklace - don’t think it still changes colours but who cares? i may or may not have a pile of mood jewelry. @pixelbypixelfanfic has its twin and that’s why i <3 it. LOOK AT HIM
Four films/Shows
- Star Trek:TOS, including the films. We will not mention here the more recent Treks, of which i haven't seen much anyway - in big part because i'm so done with the constant retconning of Spock's life and fam, like cmon guys, as if Sybok hadn't been more than enough already. i may or may not have invested too much into Spock as a kid, although i love them all. First fandom, even before i knew what fandom was.
- Blade Runner (haven't seen the new one), because of the music, the visuals, the nods to Metropolis and how it also shaped the scifi that came afterwards, because of That Death Scene on the roof (yes, i know the speech by heart) and also Zohra's and oh noes Pris and that time i stepped into the Bradbury Building.
- i was #shook by a couple of Mamoru Oshii films in the early aughts, Ghost in the Shell & Avalon (music by Kenji Kawai), and since it was my Japan Era there was also Jin-Roh, that film we won’t talk about (Grave of the Fireflies), the Kenshin OAV (the one about his early years. TOMOEEEE!! i even bought the music. yes, me. music. bought. look it was a long time ago), and a couple more. Neon Genesis Evangelion, of course :-b (NOT Shinji ;-)
- Back when i was in uni, there was a cinema club where they showed films in the largest auditorium. i went almost every week, and that's where i watched Buster Keaton's The General (i dragged a friend who was horrified at the idea of a B&W silent film... he laughed out loud for 75 min straight\o/ ), Some Like It Hot, but also more recent stuff like the early Tim Burtons (this was the early aughts). The seats were horribly uncomfortable, some of the films were 3h+ long boring adaptations of boring books (no, i really do not like Madame Bovary), but it helped fueled my cinema-going years. i watched Korean films in tiny independent cinemas, that kind of thing ;-)
Today, it takes a lot for me to go pay lots of money, sit still for 2/3 hours, grit my teeth while people keep noisily munching on pop corn and slurping sodas or whatever; i try to time my cinema-going for viewings with smaller audiences, but...
So, i'll go a couple of times in a year, for something that will be entertaining and silly and won't ask me to focus too much (because it's not at home, where i can easily go back, pause, take a break to absorb and process, take my time, etc) like Jurassic World or John Wick.
Three books:
- The Discworld series as a whole, for its humanity and humour and on-point commentary and… and… flails everything
- Let’s add some manga i loved: Gunnm though i think in English it's titled Alita Battle Angel or something like that (one of the sources for my What-does-human/personhood-means kink, though it probably started as early as my first encounter with good old Spock), City Hunter, Saint Seiya (don’t think about the dubbing don’t think bout the dubbing don’t think about the dubbing). Also, Please Save My Earth, though i much preferred the OAVs visually. Liked the music, too.
- i used to be a voracious reader. Then, i studied literature for reasons, and it sucked all the joy out of reading books. Took years (and, to be honest, fandom) for me to start loving reading again, but i could never go back to ~The Classics~ . i read the entire Search For Lost Time at the time i started to disconnect from reading, and i remember nothing of it. i liked it, it just left no trace in me. So now i'll read the Vorkosigan series and love it, but don't ask me to pick up some Dickens. These days, i can't.
Re music, well - i don't really listen to music. i listened to some stuff as a teenager, probably in no small part because it was expected, i even took music lesson as an adult because i wanted to know how instruments worked.
But as time goes by, i grow more and more intolerant to noise, and music is noise to me. i'll have the occasional YouTube trawl-through because i'll remember some old thing i liked way back when (liked, or more accurately that i associate with someone/thing), but often not even finish the song or piece of music.
It's like, idk, ballet or skating for me: i can recognize the hard work and artistry that goes into it; it just doesn't do anything for me, beyond maybe a bit of nostalgia (until i remember that aside from less creaky bones and stiff joints, i don't want to go back in time and i don't miss my younger years). i used to listen to some film scores, and sometimes songs used in shows i enjoyed. Haven't done that in a long while, though.
Now, if i want to shut out the world when i'm in the train or something, i'll put on a podcast or some white noise app.

1. Hunger games: 4
Things I like: stayed true to the book, the casting is great, the acting is great, set design and atmosphere feels very boom accurate. This movie is flawed, yes, but very entertaining and imo still holds up after all these years.
Things I don’t like: in this first movie there’s a lot of shakey cam, probably so as not to get the age rating too high (mostly used for violent scenes). Also cmon, it’s the hunger games, gotta have a bit of violence to show how terrible it is. Some of the camera work and editing in general just isn’t great, like the weird cut during katniss volunteering lol.
Catching fire: 5
Things I like: I literally fucking love this movie SO much. i know it’s not perfect but god it’s just so entertaining and just has everything I liked about the first one but x10. The amazing side characters (FINNICK), the interesting new arena, all the emotion of katniss having to go back to the games, the cinematography, PEETA IF-IT-WEREN’T-FOR-THE-BABY MELLARK—This is easilyyy my favorite hg movie (and book).

Things I didn’t like: with the books also, mockingjay was never my favorite. I just thought some of its a bit boring, and with the movie the atmosphere and color scheme of like the bunker is so drab and dark (ik it wouldn’t sense to be like colorful, but like at least make the lighting less brownish yellow yknow). Also fuck gale all my homies hate gale. ALSO FINNICK DYING FUCK YOU SUZANNE COLLINS.
Things I did like: the ending is solid, katniss shooting coin as snow collapses laughing always brings me chills. I also like the plot point of peeta being captured and hijacked, makes for a lot of sadness and angst (I like to suffer). Also major points for Finnick and Annie’s wedding, so cute (especially the part with them living happily ever after afterwards, with nothing bad ever happening :))).

Okay OMORI gang as animals go!
Sunny: a cat! He’s quiet and cute but also known to bottle up his emotions until he explodes. Many cats are like that and can’t show how there feeling until they lash out. Cats also symbolise rebirth, curiousity and elegance as well as independence. Sunny is constantly using rebirth in his dreams when he kills Basil as OMORI and is always curious even if it’s dangerous. Like how he opens the door when he hears maris voice although he knows its a trap and how he wants to know the truth even if it could hurt him in the good/Sunny ending
Basil: A bee because while he can be cute and also helps others a lot (e.g pollinating, helping everything come to fruition), he can also be a deadly little motherfucker and sting the shit out of you (CoUgH* Sunny’s eye- *cOuGh*). Bees also represent fertility, generousity, and dedication. Basil is very dedicated to his friends in the game, with him helping sunny and all but also dedicated to his friends so much that it becomes a flaw as he stays in denial over his friends murder that he will take an eye out take away who he believes is the murderer, something.
Aubrey: Tasmanian devil! While incredibly threatening in looks and has the possibility to be seriously dangerous Tasmanian devils prefer to flee. Tasmanian devils can be quite terrifying when threatened but otherwise like to avoid fights just like how in Aubrey’s attack animation, while she appears with her nail bat, never actually hits you with it out im fear of hurting you seriously. But they will attack in self Defense. Tasmanian devils represent change, righteous anger and strength along with the meaning that only you can change what’s happening now. Aubrey is angry because she believes shes been abandoned and has every right to get angry, that’s her belief. Her strength refuses to let her crumble and she lashes out instead of falling apart at this belief and takes out what she believes to be righteous fury on Basil as she believes he scratched out the photos.
Kel: sugar glider! He’s cute and adorable and also hyperactive as FUCK. Sugar gliders also mean cleverness and to do whatever they have set out to do aka determination. Kel has a lot of determination to help his friends in game. Kel is also a lot smarter than he seems and helped many through grief by his smarts of knwoing how to help others. He constantly persists through the odds and flys high like how sugar gliders do.
Hero: DOGGO! I had two for hero but thought this suited him better. Hero is a nice and calm perosn who is very sensitive to his emotions, but knows when to reign them in usually. Dogs represent loyalty, faithfulness, love and guidance as well as alertness. Often he knows when a fight is incoming and calms it down (eg aubrey and kel) and can sense when someone isn’t feeling right. He is also called universally loved in the game as he is so in tune with his surroundings and loyal to Mari and his friends. Dogs are also known to tell when the people around them are feeling certain ways and either try to cheer them up or reflect there owners emotions. He has faith in their bonds and guides the group when lost. Also the other option for him is as a peacock as well because cmon we all know he can charm others-
Mari: a hummingbird! Hummingbirds represent peace, happiness, the enjoyment of life and healing! In the game Mari is always a positive thinker and also a perfectionist. while this can make her stresssful she also reflects on this bad trait by being quite relieving when others are under stress due to experiencing such stress. In the game especially in the sunny/good ending route she is seen guiding and helping all fo the gang, especially sunny, through their healing over grief and their loss. She is the groundbreaker for sunny to find out the truth and apologise and tell this truth. She made the group happy and kept peace and tried to help then heal after her death. She is so positive that even as a ghost she influences the ones she cares about to be better.

your fingers intertwined with his– as you sit and wait beside the hospital bed. a few seconds later, zhongli hesitantly opens his eyes groaning. he looks around the room, then at you, then at your intertwined hands.
"zhongli! youre up!" you cry, scooting closer to him. you kiss his hand, tears filling your eyes. he's unresponsive. he doesnt move much, but you dont expect him too. "are you okay?"
he remains quiet. he looks around the room again, and then you once more. "zhongli? how are you feeling?"
"i-i feel like fine.." he croaks, untangling his hand from yours. you stretches a bit before looking at the time. 10:12pm.
the nurse enters the room with a glass of water and hands it zhongli. he sips it quietly, not saying anymore. which is unusual, because he is rather talkative. especially with you. "babe, are you sure youre okay?" you ask, placing your hand on his shoulder.
he glances at the hand on his shoulder and sets the glass of water on little table beside the bed. "forgive me but, im feeling a little uncomfortable." he tells you brushing your hand of your shoulder. you feel a little offended, slightly embarrassed— but it's understandable. "are you sure youre okay? i know its because you're in the hospital, but cmon dont act like that." you awkward joke.
he just stares at you confused. "now that i think about it... i dont know your name.." he starts. "i dont even think i know who you could be."
you laugh a little. but hes not laughing. "youre joking right?" you laugh again. he stares at you blankly. "whats funny?"
your heart stops and your mind goes blank. you cant think. you dont wanna think. you dont wanna think what's actually happening right now. the nurse had told you earlier it was a possibility for this to happen, but it was unlikely. it was unlikely for the worst to happen. it was unlikely for him to get amnesia.
your senses came back to you when you felt hot tears streaming down your face. your throat felt heavy and your hands were shaking. you look over to zhongli, who is unreadable. "dont cry." he says sternly, trying to comfort you. you smile a bit, but that wont fix the pain youre feeling.
"im actually... youre significant other." you say quietly, standing beside the bed. you show him your left hand with the ring on your finger. he looks down at his hands again and nodds when he sees the ring on his own finger. "explains why that ring is there."
he pats down on the bed for you to take a seat, which you do so. he doesnt know how to exactly comfort you but he placed a hand on yours. "i dont, really remember anything... but i can tell what we had is something special– i assume." he says.
tears continue to stream down your face as he comforts you. he wipes your tears aways and reassures you everything is okay. but you know its not. nothing will be the same.
"so how long have we been married? or together rather?" he asks. you smile. "we've been married for about four years but we've been together.... for as long as i can remember." you chuckle.
you both continue to talk among yourselves, while he continuously asked you questions about your relationship, his life, his like and dislikes, and all sorts of things. he knows he has amnesia now but doesnt really seem to ask about that. you'd rather not tell him how he ended up like this anyways.
"my life was pretty interesting, huh." you nod in response, closing your eyes. it felt so good bring up old memories. you feel zhongli wrap his arms around you, pulling you closer. feeling the warmth of his body against yours felt nice.
"you really seem unforgettable y/n." zhongli tells you before pulling away. "but it will take me awhile to fall inlove with you again, i apologize."
"i understand." you say, forcing a smile. the thought of this being your fault, filled your head. you really believed it was your fault that he ended up with amnesia.
it had all started with an argument. a stupid argument. you were feeling jealous and insecure, which was dumb because zhongli treated you so good. no flaws in your marriage at all, but you couldnt help feeling so furious seeing them together. they'd often spend time together, a little more than zhongli would spend time with you. you told him you thought you were better off alone and to forget all about you— to forget all about this relationship. you'd even took off your ring and threw it at him. he was as hurt and angry as you but stormed out the house, driving off. hours later, you seemed to realize how rude you had been. you were worried when he didnt return home. but that worry you felt only grew when you got a call informing you zhongli had been hospitalized.
you feel so lost. you never meant for this to happen. you only told him to forgot because it was in the heat of the moment. this was your punishment. this is what you get. you dont even feel bad for yourself– you feel bad for him. all you want to do is save him. he doesn't deserve it.
"im sorry... for everything. this is all my fault." you tell him. he looks confused, he obviously doesnt know what youre talking about, but he nods his head. "dont feel like that y/n. its not your fault." he tries to reassure you. but thats wrong.. you look into his golden eyes, tears filling your own. "im gonna protect you this time, so next time... you won't forget us. you wont forget me." you say shakily before he pulls you into a hug again.

Hey! So after a few months on tumblr I have recognized you to be an intelligent and free-thinking individual willing to speak your mind, and I’d like to open up a little discourse on the widely popular Zukki ship, if that’s alright.
The reason I’m asking you in particular is because you’re a Zuko realist—something this fandom could use a lot more of—who sees the character as he actually is in canon, flaws included, instead of the soft, selfless, over-idealized paragon-of-virtue who has practically hijacked the character we got in the show. And I’m interested to know why you ship Zukki in spite of this, especially considering his possessiveness with Mai (like in The Beach) and how that would work with the dynamic of a throuple. Hope that doesn’t come off as a loaded question! I just want to get your thoughts/reasons behind shipping it. (And you’re welcome to just PM me instead rather than answer this as an ask, idc either way). Thanks!

So I am not the biggest Zukki shipper but I absolutely ship them. The main reason is because I want Suki to have two boyfriends and because Sokka is to way awesome to get replaced by Zuko or even compared to him. Plus polynamory is awesome too and I figured instead of disliking zukka I can just like zukki which to you may seem weird now but to me is like a very big deal and has a whole other philosophy behind it that I do not have time to explain right now. Aaah
I liked zuki's dynamic in the comics and although I don't really ship them I like it. If you mix that with some romance you get some really cool stuff.
I am getting off track
One of the main reasons I started shipping zukki is because zukka just seemed off. They didn't have any chemistry and their interractions in chanon were just not fruity like everyone claims so I started searching for reasons to ship them but there was litherally nothing they had incommon then suki.
They just can not be in a relationship. There's no chemistry, no balance or equality.
One of the reasons I ship zukki is because in zukka there is litherally no balance.
So I figured that Suki is the perfect balance.
Don't belive everything I say because I am not good invested into Zuko's and Sokka's sides aka philosophy and character. What I can ruffly say is that while Zuko is impulsive Sokka can be impulsive which isn't a good combination. Zuko runs into battle head on while Sokka plans it out to litheral perfection forgetting to plan the enemies plan and what could go wrong. He sees half of the picture not the whole while Zuko doesn't see at all. Zuko has anger issues and Sokka is the protector of the gaang which means that Zuko is a potential treat because of his "anger issues". Zuko is reckless while Sokka is partially prepared. (this is all before and during the boiling rock by the way)
So here suki comes in. Sukka is litherally the best ship. Suki is the one that sees the full picture, the one that is calm and flexible af but still has enough chaos in mind to take over a warship and crash it against another. Suki see's Sokka's plan and goes with it until it starts failing, where she takes action. If suki was there for the invasion the plan would have worked since she too is a great leader.
Now suki and zuko. A direct comparison is the way she and zuko faught (because they are so similar you could forget the differences in no time): While Suki and Zuko run into action. Suki stepping on the prisoners heads to get to the warden and Zuko jumping off the ledge before getting caught by Sokka on the gondala. While for Zuko it was completely predictable. He runs headfirst into stuff for suki it was a wow moment because it was so unpredictable. Her taking the upper hand in the fight against Ty Lee? Also inpredictable and the whole time it just followes trough flawlessly. Everything she does is flawless unlike Sokka's invasion plan and a lot of Zuko's attempts to catch Aang. As if every move of her is calculated. The reason she got captured by Azula? Surprise attack. She didn't have enough time to plan everything and Appa was there too making it even worse for them. But she shoos of Appa. She knew this was a loosing fight.
That's why she is such a good addition to Sokka and Zuko too. They balance eachother out.
I mean Sukka and Zuki balance eachother out.
So the reason I ship zukki is because I ship sukka and zuki and figured that the three of them in a relationship would be cool plus there's some content for them out there so yea. I still preferrer sukka and sukitara though. Zukki is like a neutral ship. You know? A ship you aren't invested in but also have nothing against?
Yea... Suki would be good for Zuko because she could beat the toxic behaviours out of Zuko. I hate jealous people that actually act out their jealous. And I can imagine Suki doing that to. Because its Suki cmon. She wanted to kill sokka the second he spoke. She would kick that misogynistic behaviour up his ass and out (and yes Zuko is misagonistic sometimes I don't have to explain it and I won't but he is. There is enough proof)
I personally started hc it because I liked the idea of Zuki in the comics and dukka is awesome. Zuko and sokka are just best friends that kiss sometimes and cuddle with suki because she is a sweetheart and the best cuddler ever lmao.

💥 He turned around, ready to light your ass on fire however Aizawa wrapped him up like a mummy before he could reach you.
💥 Really despised you for a while. Mans is upset because you don’t care about what comes out your mouth and you’re always pointing out some flaws in his technique or personality.
💥 But the miracle happens that he saw how your comments actually pushed him to perform better in both school work and training.

💥 Dead silence dissipated all the nonsensical talk in the room before Bakugo stormed off, a shadow casted over his brow as his fingers creaked under its own force to remain fisted.
💥 As soon as he left, Tsuyu turned to you criticising your approach even though it was true. But the truth hurts and you believe everyone should deal with the pain 🤷🏽♀️ cmon bad bitch
💥 Arrived at your door after the whole brawl with Midoriya, jaw puffed and red coordinating with a nasty gash on his arm. You dragged him in, berating his choices on releasing his emotions like a neanderthal. Among the constant scolds, he silenced you with a simple sentence.

💥 The night consisted of him talking about his life, insecurities and fears while attempting to compose his emotions. With a little push, all the feelings he kept where released to the wild, for the better.
💥 Now he has a whole new meaning for liking you.

🥦 “Tenya, don’t ever try to make breakfast again. The eggs were shit like how did you even burn the water?” Midoriya quickly jumped in, waving his hands erratically to ensure no harm. “S-she meant that your eggs were—ehm— had a little saltiness to them and also to try keep the fire to—uh m-medium?”
🥦 Scared that someone will beat your ass over something you said but that isn’t no problem because that mouth comes with a good pair of hands.
🥦 But he really admires your sharp tongue and frank mind. Unlike hisself, you plough through all nervous talks and thoughts, making your thoughts as clear as day.
🥦 But he’s not excluded from any harsh comments.
🥦 After figuring out why he almost missed the talent show, you laid it on thick.
🥦”Are you completely nuts? Couldn’t you wait on Rappa or I don’t know call someone from up here to get security? You really just love to throw yourself in trouble, don’t you?”
🥦 Ngl, it did sting a little but whatever Izuku believed he did right, he will forever be proud of it. Aside from that, he is hurt that you thought his actions were irrational.
🥦 Noticing his frown and glossy eyes, you quickly apologised, not intending to ridicule his actions.
🥦 “Izuku, I...I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you like that. I was just really worried and I care for you a lot.”
🥦 If he was close to crying from before he’s in tears now. His blush ignited his face as his mind mulled over your confession.
🥦 He accepted your apology and as his heart couldn’t take anymore blatant affection from a girl, you hugged him, hugged him.
🥦 And that’s how Midoriya fell even more hopelessly in love with you.

🎆 but he definitely noticed how brash you were when he confronted Class 1A before the sports festival.
🎆 The tension between Bakugo and the students outside palpable, the mixture of agitation and unease stifled the air everyone breathed until you trod to the door.
🎆 “Are you boys done with your little intimidation battle? Because I have an anime to binge watch and I’d rather not have it wait any longer.” You then turned to Shinso.
🎆 “By the way your hair is really cute.”
🎆 You left everyone gobsmacked as you passed through the crowd without fail, as if you didn’t even interrupt a brewing clash a second ago. But no one was as gobsmacked as Shinso who was blushing from the compliment.
🎆 Ever since, your bluntness has not wavered even after becoming friends with him through Kaminari and Sero.
🎆 You obviously showed you liked him. Your frank attitude included being downright honest in your attraction to him and others.
🎆 Exhaustion clouded his eyes heavily as he walked past your lunch table filled with Class 1A’s girls talking about their fears for the future. Mina’s almost drawn to tears about the upcoming math test as Uraraka consoled her worries.
🎆 Everyone was nervous, anxiety wore on their face and through the sounds of nail biting from Hagakure.
🎆 As soon as the mind control quirk wielder caught your eye, you couldn’t stop yourself from talking.
🎆 “Shinsou is so handsome. And he’s getting quite buff judging by how his shirt was constricting from before. Don’t you guys think?”
🎆 Your comment was loud enough to reach the by-passer, who blushed at the sudden compliment. His hand naturally travelled to the nape of his neck, soothing his own embarrassment as the table’s eyes, in particular yours, laid on him, waiting on his response.
🎆 “Why t-thank you, (Y/n)” He nodded in acknowledgment of your compliment and then walked briskly off to his own table.
🎆 Mina turned towards you as he was out of ear range. “Have you no shame?! I was crying about my grades before you suddenly wanted to say Shinso was hot.”
🎆 Everybody started saying how random and sudden you were before you shrugged your shoulders.
🎆 “A girl knows what she likes.”
🎆 Shinso eventually warms up to your sudden compliments and impartial bluntness
🎆 The two of you were eventually called a“pair of blunt knives” by Kaminari.
🎆 Doesn’t matter, it’s a cute couple name ☺️.

6 Anti LO Asks
1. here's also a thing i dont get. in lo "kore" is her birth name, but its a name she doesnt go by and doesnt like, surely a good way to show hades cares about her wants and others dont is by having him be the only one referring to her as persephone, while everyone else calls her kore, except in comic its the opposite? everyone, including her r*pist, calls her persephone, a name she wants to go by, meanwhile hades calls her kore, a name demoting her as a child and one she doesnt want. why??
2. lo persephone being kind and bubbly isn't inherently a bad character choice, i think the issue is smythe refuses to actually let her have any flaws or complexities on top of it. she can be kind and bubbly and still angry and irrational and stubborn at the same time, they're not mutually exclusive. i think smythe knows she cant write a compelling, complicated character, so she has to make sure persephone is good and right all the time, but that makes her a weaker character for it. she's static.
3. amazing how mint is a famous green plant with a very distinct green hue and rachel just made minthe red for some reason??? green literally signifies envy and jealously too like cmon lady dont work against the color symbolism here
4. wait is lo hades' eyes really some weird pink shade. you telling me this slave owner can't even get his pink eye taken care of? whats wrong with their health care system im concerned
5. i also feel like a zagreus plot will show up. rachel wouldnt purposely bring up semele and emphasize persephone being super fertile and capable of having periods alongside hades' desire for children to NOT have zagreus show up. yes she'd be a 21 year old with a baby while she's still mentally and physically stuck as a child herself, but hades looked really sad looking at his empty bed and as we all know, persephone's empowerment is only through her serving hades' wants, so ...
6. i see "persephone was the ruler of the underworld before hades even existed" to justify hxp and i have to wonder why that isn't the basis of the feminist retellings? turn the roles on their head see how it goes with an ancient, cruel queen falling for a lonely, younger god scarred by the horrors of war who is hard to crack. i dont get why these "feminist" reworks have persephone as powerless and in need of a husband for power when she apparently had it before hades was even thought up as a god.
