FIRST EVER IRISH LANGUAGE FILM TO BE NOMINATED FOR AN OSCAR CAME IN 2023!!!!!!!! I am absolutely beside myself with pure happiness and so many emotions - my first language, my mother tongue, getting the recognition it deserves all thanks to An Cailín Ciúin. Never been prouder to be a Gaeilgeoir!!!
ALSO The Banshees of Insheerin and Paul Mescal getting all those noms means it is Ireland’s strongest ever year at the Oscars!!!
Ealaín na hÉireann abú!!!!!
