i honestly didn't think i wrote/published a lot of fic this year, but that actually turned out to be a lie when i went back and checked out my stats this year so i'm pleastantly surprised and impressed with myself! so here's my writing round up!

Patrick, however has recently been casted in the new book to series adaption of The Thief and the Prince alongside David Rose, making his fake relationship with Rachel go into jeopardy

Right now David was on his knees in his and Patrick’s bedroom, taking steadying breaths as Patrick loped the blue rope around David’s body slowly around him. It wasn’t often David asked Patrick to dominate him. When they first got together, David found out his inclination of Patrick to be slightly wrong. But the way Patrick said, “Oh, I’m gonna get the money,” or, “You’re going to sit here and think about what you’ve done,” that time when they got back together… That tone never failed to leave David’s vivid imagination or fantasies.

As soon as they are at the scene a cop is already there waiting for him. He’s younger than TK expected. He greets his dad before letting him take the lead of the scene. TK doesn’t get a good look at him, doesn’t bother interacting with him - too busy to do his job of getting Allison out of her car. In fact, he even forgets about the timer on his wrist.

If he did, he would’ve noticed that the countdown is less than a minute.

When the 126 find out that Allison has another baby - one not still inside her - it doesn’t take long for Paul to figure out the baby miraculously landed in a tree. And isn’t that a news story. The cop comes up to TK and asks, “How the hell-” when two distinct buzzing sounds go off.

Both men look down at their wrists.

Eddie sits down on the bench, laying his head back against the cold stone wall. With his eyes closed and arms crossed, he hopes it fools the guards into thinking Eddie is more calm than he really is. That they can’t tell how much his heart is pounding or how his skin itches to start punching things. Again. Just like how they found him when his hood fell off and people let out cries that the Princess Assassin is here amongst them.

yuletide 2023 recap!

This yuletide exchange was fun, though as usual I am still making my way through the collection (here's hoping this year I actually finish reading all the open tabs in Jan/Feb at least).

For my gift, I received a gorgeous fic for The Borgias - some Cesare/Lucrezia hurt/comfort post-season 3 with lots of my fave tropes, you can read that on ao3 here:

One Touch of Your Hand

I wrote five fics - 2 for Only Murders In the Building (Gen) & 1 each for Nancy Drew (Nancy/Ace), The Borgias (Cesare/Lucrezia) and Why Didn’t They Ask Evans (Frankie/Bobby). I did end up with 3 unfinished treats sitting in my drafts, 1 of which I wrote about 3k for, but it was probably wishful thinking that I might have completed them in time too. The published 5 are the most individual fics I’ve managed for Yuletide, or any exchange for that matter (though it’s about 1k short of the total words I’ve done for an exchange thanks to the long fics I wrote for Yuletide 2019).

Summaries of the fics themselves and thoughts on writing them below the cut:

A Whole New Direction - OMITB, Charles & Mabel & Oliver, Banter Post S2, ~800 words [ao3 link]

"I know yesterday we said we’d kind of shot ourselves in the foot podcast-wise by limiting ourselves to the building only, never mind whose idea that was—“ “It was your idea,” Mabel and Oliver replied in unison. “But never mind! I thought of a way we could continue the podcast without betraying the original premise.”

I enjoy writing their banter so this was a fun quick one; the main section came easily, it was just trying to decide where I wanted to end it that took the most time.

Co-Location - OMITB, Gen (Charles & Mabel + some Oliver), Canon Divergence in S3, ~1k words [ao3 link]

Charles offers a solution to Mabel's apartment-hunting woes.

This is a bit more sentimental than the general vibe I go for with writing the show (though not as angsty and internal as the Will POV post-Oliver’s heart attack fic I wrote for the last exchange I did), but the idea lent that way and I had to follow. I wasn’t sure where I wanted to end this one either, but when my beta mentioned that perhaps next season in the show Charles might not be able to stay at his apartment after the latest murder and would have to go to Oliver’s, the image of all three of them having to sleepover together made me laugh so I had to work that in.

Got A Lot To Learn - Nancy Drew (TV 2019), Nancy/Ace, Post-Canon Fluff, ~1.7k words [ao3 link | tumblr post]

Nancy and Ace approach a minor relationship milestone soon after breaking the curse.

This was my assignment! My recipient wanted something in canon which gave me an excuse to return to the the idea of Nancy learning ASL for Ace/his dad, which I thought was really sweet when they mentioned it on the show but the timing of that reveal meant it was angsty and I wanted it in a cute scene. Still getting the hang of writing the characters/universe but hopefully I'll be able to play more with them later this year (maybe even with the unfinished ND treat I started, though Nancy/Ace was more background in that one).

Power Over Me - The Borgias (Showtime TV), Cesare/Lucrezia, Explicit, Modern AU - Alpha/Omga, ~15k words [ao3 link | tumblr post]

Cesare has always been protective of his sister. When she unexpectedly has her first heat he worries that he might need to protect her from himself.

This got a bit away from me lol! It's not a trope I expected to write but the recipient's prompt really clicked as Cesare/Lucrezia do have that intensity that lends itself to this type of AU. It was still supposed to be a 5-6k thing initially but then I got the idea of putting Cesare through it on his special shopping trip for Lucrezia lol and started to consider more about the character arcs and showing more of Lucrezia's side of things and it snowballed into a much longer piece. That meant I had to leave aside the other Ces/Lu fic I started writing as a treat for this Yuletide, but even though I think that'll be shorter the storyline is more complicated so this was probably the better one to pick to finish for a deadline and a fun experiment for me.

The Very Thought Of You - Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, Frankie/Bobby, Mature, Love Letters & Reunions, ~6k words [ao3 link | tumblr post]

A few months into their marriage, Frankie has to return to Marchbolt without Bobby. Finding the telephone insufficient for maintaining their usual level of intimacy, she starts to write to him.

There was a note in the recipient's letter about how they show each other their affection and they prompted letters for another ship which gave me the idea of Frankie and Bobby writing to one another. I was originally going to mostly focus on their time apart and just see a little bit of them reuniting at the end but once they were together I wanted to spend more time with them in the same place and thought it made sense to follow through on some of those spicier letters with giving them a bit of alone time too so it became 6k rather than 3 lol, but most of it flowed quite easily. It was just the letters and some of the historical aspects I spent time rewriting, especially Bobby's letter since that's the emotional point of the fic.

All in all, I really liked all 5 I managed to complete, but probably going to take a little exchange break for a bit and write whatever is flowing easiest rather than trying to write for a deadline.

From: With Love, From Bebop on AO3 [Now Updated!]

The room grew stiff, nobody moved.

Jet stood, tense and slow, just like the words that followed.

“Alright. Nobody panics, nobody moves.”

“You can’t let him do it Jet,” Faye whispered.

Jet placed his fingers over his lips, “shh…”

He moved a little, the culprit stepped back with a whine as well.

“Shit.” Spike muttered under his breath. His eyes were solid with intense focus. Edward almost failed to hold back a cry.

Jet held up his fingers, “okay,” he mouthed, three…two….”ONE!”

The man practically leaped for him, but Ein was too quick. His tiny legs carried him up to the top of the stairs, their single, hard earned, juicy steak in snout.

In the chaotic chase, Jet knocked over a soda can, which landed on Faye and caused its own loud commotion. Spike and Edward watched in horror as Ein stood triumphantly at the top of the metal stairs.

In an instant, it was all gone.

Jet deflated with defeat as Faye moaned in the background about her sticky legs.

“Well. Looks like it’s just bell peppers again my friends.”

Edward curled into a ball and wallowed, she really wanted to try the meat she had heard so much about.

Spike appeared as if he was holding in a hiccup.

“You alright there Spike-o?” Jet asked, somewhat weary.

Spike’s fist met hard against the table; a physical jolt pulsed sharply through everyone.

“DAMN IT EIN!”

Ein responded with a happy bark before he trotted away into the depths of the Bebop’s metal belly.

Birthday: well I’m a Pisces, so my birthday is between Feb 19th and march 20th!

Fave band/group: Pentatonix! Or For King and Country. Or the piano guys, the vitamin string quartet, Voctave.....also Phineas and the Ferbtones👌

Fave solo artists: I really like Lauren Daigle, and Jackie Evancho used to be my FAVE. Aaand idk if this counts but Michael Giacchino! love his scores, especially the score for Inside Out. There’s also this guy called Clay Kramer on YouTube who makes KK Slider covers of popular music, his stuff gives me so much seratonin😅

Song Stuck in my Head: Well I’m listening to music rn and “I’m Me” from Phineas and Ferb is on so I’ll say that! (I’ll revisit this one when I finish the list and update it with whatever song i’m listening to/is stuck in my head then) (ok the music has since been turned off and now I have “Status Quo” from High School Musical stuck in my head so! There ya go!) (now it is the next day, and I’ve got “when the party’s over” stuck in my head...i think these three songs are an accurate reflection of my taste in music🤣)

Last Movie: uhhhhh oh yeah, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice! It was SO GREAT because Jay Baruchel plays the main character (and the main character is super awkward), so I felt like I was watching Hiccup from the How To Train Your Dragon franchise learn magic and it was GLORIOUS. And also Nicholas Cage is great. And I liked the love interest in the movie as well!! She had a role to play in the story and felt authentic and genuine, which I appreciated!

Last Show: ok well the last show I watched by myself was Phineas and Ferb! Specifically, the episode with the Mardi Gras block party and then the one where Candace and Stacy compete in an obstacle course against Isabella and Ginger (omg wAIT ginger and Stacy are sisters and Isabella and Candace are GOING to be sisters mY HEART I—AH🥺). I hadn’t watched those episodes in forever, so they were really fun to revisit! I think the last actual show I watched was Kids Baking Championship or something, lol. (Those kids are AMAZING. So skilled!)

When i created this blog: November 2019! It was riiiight after the season 3 finale of miraculous aired and absolutely wrecked my emotions. I had some fanfic written that I’d never posted and had been thinking about making a tumblr/ao3 for awhile, and seeing the finale made me finally go, “.....you know what, yeah. The finale is aired, no more spoilers.....it’s time to make a blog.” So I did! And I posted my first fic! And I’m so happy i did :)

What Do I Post: a bunch of multi fandom stuff XD. This blog started off as 90% Miraculous, 10% other fandoms I like...but now it’s just kind of a hodgepoge of my favorite fandoms (with a focus on Phineas and Ferb, lol). I reblog a lot of posts, and then I post original stuff too! I write fanfic, nowadays for Phineas and Ferb but for Miraculous in the past (and probably in the future!), I draw art (mostly Phinabella art because I’ve been drawing them since i was 11 and it feels good to return to my roots), and OCCASIONALLY I will write an analysis post (I’ve got one in the works rn actually 👀), attempt to make a meme, or dip my toe into salt just SLIGHTLY before quickly backing away, lol. If I were to list the fandoms I post about in the order of how frequently I post about them, I’d probably say: Phineas and Ferb, Miraculous....and thennnnn everything else is pretty random and depends on the day, lol.

Last thing i googled: Jay Baruchel 😂. Couldn’t remember how to spell his last name!

Other blogs: this is my only blog! Sometimes I think about making a separate blog for my art and writing, but I am not sure if I should or not....maybe I will someday, but idk. I also have an AO3 for fanfic and an Instagram for art! All are under the name “authenticcadence18.”

Do I get asks: sometimes, yeah!! Sometimes I reblog ask games/prompts and get some asks for those (I’ve got so many prompts in my inbox I want to write/draw things for...ah it’s fine, I’ll get to it eventually😅), and sometimes lovely people will leave thoughts or nice messages in my inbox🥺💕. I’ve got a specific tag for all those nice messages so I can read back over them whenever I need a boost!

Why this url: it’s a music pun! When a song/section of a piece of music ends with a dominant chord resolving to a tonic chord (if you’ve read a certain fic of mine you should know allll about dominant and tonic chords👀🤣), it’s called an authentic cadence! There are different kinds of cadences, and authentic ones are my favorite. One example of this is “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” I also use this blog to be my authentic, fandom-loving self! So I like authentic cadences, and also, I’m Cadence and using this blog to be authentic! Woo! (And 18 is just my favorite number, lol) I’m glad I ended up choosing a name that doesn’t tie to a specific fandom becaaaaaause this ended up being a multi fandom blog!

Average amount of sleep: wellllll for the past week and a half I was sick so I was probably getting 9ish hours a night (because I would sleep in really late, lol). but NOW? In my immediate future? I suspect my average amount of sleep is going to go down because I’m really bad about staying up late even when I have to get up early😅. Hoping to be good about getting at least 7ish hours a night!

Lucky number: 18! But y’all probably already guessed that, lol.

Instruments: my voice, piano, ukulele, viola (but it’s been a HOT minute), aaaand i used to be able to play guitar but then I got a ukulele and forgot all the guitar chords. (I also dabble in songwriting! I primarily use voice and piano when writing music.)

What I’m wearing: my favorite sweatshirt (that was last night, rn I have on a tanktop), some leggings, and socks!

Dream job: I’m currently learning to be a teacher, and I LOVE teaching and working with kids so that is definitely a job I’m really excited about!!! I would also love to portray characters at Disney or something (well, maybe not at Disney because I hear they’re strict, but like....I want to be Rapunzel or Anna or something, that would be so fun). OR, I would LOVE to work in tv animation somehow, be it voice acting, writing scripts/music, and/or story boarding. basically if I could do what Dan and Swampy did for Phineas and Ferb/Milo Murphy’s Law, I would LOVE THAT. (Especially the writing music part. Getting to write music for established characters and get PAID for it would be SO COOL.!.!.!) Also I think it would be so fun to write Disney storybooks! Like, those books that are about Cinderella baking a cake or Ariel befriending a seahorse, stuff like that. Those brought me a ton of joy as a child!

Dream trip: I want to visit alllll the Disney parks someday😅. (Not right now because, ya know, Covid...but someday!)

Fave food: uhhh i really like pizza. And popcorn. Also hummus and guacamole!

Fave songs: “Times” by Tenth Avenue North; “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (I made an entire playlist of just this song when I first started writing my fic of the same name, so I like the original and a ton of covers of it!), “Show Yourself” from Frozen II, “What Might Have Been” from Phineas and Ferb (and lots of other songs from that show, i made a whole post about that once but I can’t find it, oof); “Rescue” by Lauren Daigle; “Thank You” by Pentatonix; “I See the Light” from Tangled; “Your Hands” by JJ Heller; “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.....i like a loooot of songs so this is just the tip of the iceberg, but I think that’s good for now, LOL! (As soon as I post this I’m going to remember another song I love, lol)

last book: I got the book Unbirthday for Christmas! It’s basically Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, but if she’d never gone to wonderland and things went horribly wrong there. (I think, I’m not that far into it yet, lol)

Top 3 fictional universes I’d love to live in: 1. DANVILLE, PLS. Especially as a kid, I SO would’ve loved to hang out with Isabella and Phineas and the rest of the gang! Danville is so vibrant and unique and people are always randomly breaking into song there, that’s my kind of place! 2. Fairytopia (from the Barbie movies!) because I could be a fairy OR a mermaid OR BOTH and eat seeweed to breathe underwater even if I wasn’t a mermaid. Like, that’s the dream right there. (I’ve always loved mermaids and fairies, lol!) 3. Maybe San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6? All of the technology in that universe is really cool! And I would love to eat a noodle burger, lol .

Initial Nightingale Notes

More Only the Nightingale Sings bonus content! This time, my very first batch of planning notes, which I scribbled down at work sometime in late January 2019, and some reminiscing on how this story came to be. (It’s a LONG post lol)

So, the idea for Nightingale came from a few different sources smushed together. For context, the first episode of CR I ever watched live was Episode 48, on Jan 17 2019. The episode that followed aired on Jan 24, where the gang eventually finds the tunnels to Xhorhas.

Source 1: I spent most of that episode FULLY convinced Yeza was taken by the Assembly and very confused why the Nein were suddenly going to Xhorhas. I understood after the fact, but I confess I was a little disappointed - I wanted to go to Rexxentrum!

Source 2: Because the party immediately headed to Xhorhas after finding the tunnels, the internal debate Caleb was having in Felderwin (about whether or not to run away) never got resolved - he basically had no choice but to follow the group, because there was no leaving once they entered the tunnel. I was very interested in that internal conflict (that then became a reoccuring theme in Nightingale) and wished we’d got a chance to see Caleb actually make that decision in canon.

Source 3: I read through a list of angst prompts a while beforehand and came across “Villainous Rescue”. My immediate thought was “oh, wouldn’t it be fun if the Nein were rescued from dire straights by Ikithon”, but never found a suitable premise to pair it with

All three of these ideas coalesced into what would become Nightingale. Sometime in the week between Jan 24 and Feb 2 (when I started the rough draft of Chapter 1) I stole a meeting room at work and started scribbling. The two yellow pages I did in the morning, hoping I could put it out of my mind, but by the afternoon I was totally unfocused on my actual job and decided to spend another half-hour brainstorming. (Hence why the paper changed - I probably grabbed a different legal pad from my desk.)

Looking back at the writing timeline, I basically started this fic only a couple weeks after catching up on the show itself - wild!

The first thing I wrote were, essentially, ‘intake notes’ for the Mighty Nein - the premise being, what would go into the Assembly’s report upon their capture by Ikithon? IIRC, I decided to set the fic itself in the Soltryce Academy because of how many of these notes fell into the category of “magic training/supervision”.

The second was an inventory of settings, based on the aforementioned intake notes. As you can see, I initially had three locations in mind - the casters in the Academy, Nott and Yasha in the “Seat of Government” (aka, a secret Assembly headquarters, loosely affiliated with the actual government), and Beau in the broader city. Even though Nott almost immediately got moved to the broader city, the idea that Yasha (and Yeza) weren’t actually being held in the Academy, but a third Assembly-run location, actually stuck around for a while in my planning. I believe it was somewhere around Chapter 4 that I realized that splitting up the finale between two locations was going to kill the tension of the climax, and decided to move Yeza and Yasha to the Academy as well.

The next set of notes were all about individual characters, as I was trying to flesh out the basics of what they’d be doing in the story. Overall, these notes were closer to the finished product that I was expecting!

“Caleb - Immediately taken off by Trent, who tries to persuade him that he’s realized the errors of how he pushed Bren too hard, and now it’s time he came back to his birthright. Caleb, knowing his survival depends on putting on a show, acquiesces and agrees to become Trent’s protege once again, while looking for a way to get everyone out. He tells Jester through a book that he is being monitored and cannot talk.” - No big changes here!

“Jester - Jester, when pressed, admits to the divine nature of her magic. When asked for her patron, she says *can’t read this word* the Platinum Dragon, This being a segment of the school, she’s sent to work with a group of acolytes and must fake her way through knowledge of the religion. She uses sending to facilitate group communication.” - No big changes here either, though the meat of her plot with Kirn didn’t come to be until I was writing “Lessons”.

“Fjord - Fjord admits truthfully that he doesn’t know where his power comes from. The mistress concludes he must be a sorcerer and has him sent for evaluation. He hides the existence of his hex blades, tries to act as a *can’t read word* with only minor abilities.” - No big changes, but no huge details either, I was pretty unsure of what I wanted to do with Fjord at this point.

“Caduceus - He successfully passes his work off as tribal magic, which fascinates the scholars. He decides this is a good opportunity to get into about his siblings and has long talks with the librarian. The campus gardens are his favourite spot. All in all, he’s trying to make the most of their stay, if that’s where the Mother wills him to be.” - Oh, the delicious irony of that line about the gardens, as the twist that the plants are all dead didn’t come to me until I was writing “Lessons”.

“Yasha - In the initial assessment, Trent immediately hits on his interest in her initially. He asks her to help him understand Xhorhasian culture. Not betray, he understands loyalty, but just understand. Again, we see that third government location mentioned, that never came to be.

“Beau - Attempts to weasel her way into getting them released using Cobalt Soul know how. This fails, but she does get herself ejected (The mistress basically conjectures the Cobalt Soul is trying to hoard resources from the army.) She must either convince the Cobalt Soul to help her (Dairon in Bladegarden?) or use her own political scheming by going to the seat of government to get folks released.” - So, throughout most of the first few chapters of Nightingale, Beau getting Dairon’s help was ABSOLUTELY the plan. But, flash forward a few eps, and surprise, Dairon’s in Xhorhas! Which majorly threw me for a loop at the time, but ended up making for a much stronger arc for Beau as she was forced to do things on her own.

“Nott - Trent is curious about a goblin travelling w/ the band. After some quick thinking by Beau, they manage to minimize her connection w/ Caleb, saying instead that she’s a runaway from her tribe. “Who are you loyal to?” “The Empire.” She’s taken away with Yasha to the HQ to provide intel. This is a moral choice for her. Sacrifice the Felderyn goblins and get revenge, but potentially aid the empire too much.” - Notice that this is utter nonsense, and bears no resemblance to what actually ended up happening in the fic? Figuring out what to do with Nott was, at various stages, one of the most difficult parts of this process for me. What I was doing here was grasping at straws, trying to figure out a way that she wouldn’t either be immediately killed or held over Caleb’s head upon capture. And honestly, there wasn’t one. There was no scenario in which Nott being captured wouldn’t be immediately disastrous, not in a situation where the Assembly held all the power. Therefore, she couldn’t be captured, and thus Puff of Smoke was born.

My Unfilled Fic Requests (+ other explanations)

Hey, y’all.

I was going to film a YouTube video about this (and I will) but figured that it would also be good to throw it up here in text form. This is the quintessential Where Have I Been post since I’ve been letting fic requests and other asks languish in my askbox since, like, December.

Before I get into this, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that has interacted with my posts and sent me messages or asks. I’ve only gotten a handful of messages that were anything less than positive and encouraging re: my fic-writing hiatus and prompts/requests. So thank you!!

So where tf have you been, bro?

The short answer: Here, but busy

The long answer: There have been various other things that have sapped my creative energy OR have necessitated so much creative energy that I felt like I needed to direct all my attention at them.

Like what?

In mid-October, I took on a ghostwriting freelance project that was initially going to be short and easy but then, thanks to the client of my client, turned into a difficult pseudo-fiasco. My client was super gracious and apologetic and I didn’t mind at all bc a) that’s how these things go sometimes and b) I can deal with difficult assignments bc Journalist, but that took a lot of my spare time and creative energy.

At the end of October, I finished my novel manuscript and then I started editing it. After completing the aforementioned ghostwriting job shortly before Christmas, I took the holidays off and then buckled down and started revising TCM. My goal was to get it ready to submit to pitch contests in March and, before that, have one of my most trusted friends and champions get her hands and eyes on it.

Editing a novel that you’ve spent 9 years writing is HARD. I literally became that “I didn’t think I’d get this far” meme; I’d never done developmental or line editing on a 50,000-word project before and it took all my blood, guts and tears to get it done to a level at which I was sort of satisfied (ask my mom and sister - they were there lol). I put all my creative thrust behind TCM because I had the end-game deadline of participating in a Twitter pitch competition on March 5, meaning I wanted to have the manuscript to my friend by the beginning of February.

I finished edits to TCM on Feb. 7 but I wanted to sit on it for a couple days just so I could give it one last once-over before yeeting it into my friend’s inbox (also bc I’m a Perfectionist and Anxious). I had, in the meantime, made some new friends and, since one of them was moving away, wanted to hang out and nurture the growing relationships.

The day before Valentine’s Day, in a series of events that could’ve only been orchestrated by God (or whatever higher power you believe in), I learned about and decided to submit to the Author/Mentor Match program, in which authors with a finished manuscript apply for a shot to have a published author work with them on their manuscript, queries and anything else they think it would take to get published.

That was a feat of epic proportions. I sent in my sample, query and synopsis and didn’t expect to get a request for a full manuscript. However, I did within less than 24 hours and then had to manually format a 248-page manuscript to send back. As of now, I’m waiting to hear whether or not I’m accepted, which I could learn any time between tomorrow and March 3rd.

So that’s why you haven’t written any fic?

Pretty much, yeah, that’s one of two reasons. The other reason is that I’ve been feeling uninspired lately, probably due to all my other creative pursuits, especially this novel. You may have seen my post about a Gideon the Ninth AU; I do plan on writing it, but it’s hard when you’re out of creative spoons from marathon-line-editing an entire 71,000 word monster lol

Will you ever answer your fic requests?

Absolutely. Most of them are T100-related which is AWESOME, but I don’t ever want to fill a request without doing it justice. That’s disrespectful to y’all and I’m not gonna do you like that.

You’ve been answering ask memes, though??

Yup. Those take significantly less energy and are a fun little thing to make me smile.

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: i dont do these as often anymore, but when winter ends, spring begins is probably my most popular fic. i never got around to posting it here on tumblr & its not finished (lol last updated in feb oops)

but there’s also the finished in my darkest of nights, you are the light that guides me home which is a hinny fic that was an idea i had a long time ago for a role play. it never panned out so i used it in a fic instead. it’s actually old & someday id like to rewrite it because its kind of awful. but its close to my heart.

Favorite Story You Wrote: oh! hard to choose!

i’m enjoying working on the role reversal fic, where sansa goes to dragonstone as queen in the north, to meet viserys, rather than jon meeting daenerys. ive been meaning to finish that next chapter.

BUT i also started one where margaery is alive & comes to sansa at winterfell after they reclaim it from the bolton’s. im excited to continue it.

however, writing wise, this one shot i wrote using a writing meme is one of my personal favorites. for whatever reason, it turned out really well written (i think) and i was pleasantly surprised when i reread it just the other day.

Story You Were Nervous to Post: honestly, none haha.

the worst thing that could happen is something just doesnt get a lot of notes or whatever, but even thats not a big deal to me.

How You Choose Your Titles: i SUCK AT TITLES. i miss role plays because i could just use song lyrics lmao. sometimes i come up with some really good ones but overall i usually tweak song lyrics or think for days and days and days about it.

Do You Outline: NEVER.

Complete: as someone who mostly writes oneshots.... A LOT. like i cant even begin to think about how many ive really written. the story i upload my tumblr jonsa prompts to has 92 itself and i have a separate jonsa prompt story for my own ideas that’s up to 41. and stepping out of the jonsa piece... ive got dozens of zutara & hinny stories like that as well.

I'm not sure if you would know but when do you think Loki's Main Route will come out? I just finished Edgar's (🎉👏♥️😍😍) and I'm not sure if I should wait or if I should just play Jonah's route as if there is time.-I am going to guess around the end of Feb. Maybe the 20-22 since the new bonus stories end around that time XD Might be a few days before, but all the bonus stories will be released before the route is released I'm sure. OH! You can start a new route! Ikerev allows you to switch routes for free and it saves you spot on the old route! So whenever you want to go back, you don’t have to start all over again. I hope that helps!

Some of those prompts seemed a little assulty?? I'm sorry! E.g. kisses them to make them stop saying something; angry kisses (no consent...) - These are prompts and not stories, so extrapolating saying its non-consensual is of your own imagination. “Angry kisses,” and “Stopping someone one from saying something with a kiss,” can be written a thousand different ways. Many of the prompts here have hundreds of different scenarios to be written around. However, If I write something, that is dub/con or non/con it will be tagged at the beginning of the fic so you can freely skip over it. :)
