This song holds such a power over my heart and I’ll try to explain its toll.

She whispers all those thoughts I’ve been having for months, all of those I used to scream in my mind and the ones I hushed while crying during my sleepless nights. She’s expressing all of the stages of grief and healing journey, that’s why Happiness opens all of my wounds and pours hope and acceptance in them. I’m dealing with my new and changed life every single day. There is not a moment in which I don’t feel my old self appearing like a ghost and urges me to feel all of the old feelings I thought I overcame. However, at the same time I can see how far I’ve come, how much I’ve changed and it makes me a completely different person who’s experiencing true happiness again after so so so long.

It is an odd sensation. There’s a golden sunrise, indeed. I had to leave my old self behind, gave up some old desires of mine and my feelings for certain people in order to get a glimpse of it
