Asmo did try to charm me which some could take as attempting to harm them, because he was actively taking away their right to “choose”; luckily the charm didn’t work.

I understand where you're coming from, however, I think the context of the scene is important.

He's doing it to show off his powers, his charm is what he considers a big part of his identity, this is all for an ego boost. This isn't him pulling you aside and trying to have his way with you. He's in a room with at least three demons who are more powerful than him, he knows it's not going further than showing MC what he can do (even if MC doesn't know that).

The second time is a redo of the first, he just wants to prove he's able to do it.

Both times it's more about him and his identity as the Avatar of Lust than it is about MC. That's why I don't see it as being on the same level as literally threatening MC's life.

First of all forgive this long absence. A lots been happening. But I miss this blog and royal core and I want to come back.

But anyway. When I named this blog, when I wanted to do this and explore this side of myself, I wanted to reclaim Princess Core and the title and concept of Princess. I, like most little girls, had issues with the concept of Princess. I never felt like it applies to me, never felt like I was welcome in it, and felt pressured to "transcend" princesses, even as a child. "My girl is too good to be a princess." Was something I remember my mother saying to me. And I never really wanted to identify with the pink, the passivity, the feminineness that is the princess archetype, tho I wanted to want to. Or did I want to and felt like I couldn't?

It's complicated.

But anyway, when I named this blog I wanted to "reclaim" the princess archetype, to tell myself I could be part of this, even if I was a more practical princess, a princess who wore blue not pink, a princess who took her duties and her royal rank seriously. See my "heiress apparent" posts, or my "rethinking princess core." And through that I thought maybe I could repair and expand my relationship to womanhood and femininity. I could find my own version of what being a woman meant, and how to be feminine without being girly.

But I think, at the end of the day, I don't really identify with Princess.

Or, being a woman.

I think, I'm not a woman. I'm not cis.

And I'm doing this exploratory rant here because, well, none of you know me in real life.

There is still a lot of connection to womanhood. I still have lots of things that I take from femininity. I'm not a man, either, tho I have masculine elements as well. But I have to stop trying to make myself be a Straight White Woman, because I'm none of these things. and maybe I could accept myself a little more if I stop trying to put myself in the female box.

So, let's begin with this. I'm not, and I'm never going to be, a princess. I may be, rather like Utena, a Girl Prince. Or maybe, just prince.

So the name of this blog is going to be changed accordingly. My pronouns are still she/her, but if someone wants to refer to me as They or even He, to see if I like it, or any other neopronoun, feel free. But I think it's time to tell at least SOMEONE, I'm nonbinary, and that might be okay.

Kind of random but what do you think would happen if the demon king (Diavolo’s dad) woke up? Do you think he would approve of the work Diavolo’s done? What would he think of the brothers all having pacts with the mc? There’s so little about this character I’m interested in knowing what you think would happen if he ever woke up. Btw, you’re my fave obey me fanfic writer :)

I got this ask a while ago and I always meant to answer it but I kept forgetting...

I go back and forth on what Diavolo's father might think of the program. Diavolo tries so hard to please him and be a good example of a ruler. He seems to really respect his father, he desires his approval. That being the case, it would make sense that Diavolo's father might be on the same page as him when it comes to wanting to unite the realms, and especially making peace with humans.

On the other hand, why didn't his father make moves to unite the realms before? The House of Lords seems to look down on Diavolo and they don't think he is fit to be the future king, which is why they made him undergo the Kingsblood Crucible. I can't remember if it was explicitly said, but I thought it was at least implied that they preferred his father over him. If that's true, then it would make sense that his father doesn't have the same views as Dia, and favors the interests of the snooty demon nobles who are old fashioned and not interested in making nice with angels or humans.

I'm inclined to believe the latter, but I also have written the Demon King to be a fearsome, ruthless being.

I actually have a headcanon that Barbatos is the reason the king is sleeping. He saw the king as someone in the way of Diavolo's goals so he used his power, as possibly the strongest demon in existence, to overtake the king and put him to sleep. This gave Diavolo (unbeknownst to all of this) the chance to fulfill his dreams of uniting the realms and becoming the next ruler of the Devildom. I suppose we shall see in the future if this is true.

Gorgeous find at a open air market today!

It's a little diadem that you can tie on as either a headband or across the forehead. The scroll work reminds me both of the fleur-de-lis on the English crown and ancient Macedonian banquet crowns.

Best of all it was HALF OFF, so I had to! First estate luxury on a third estate budget, that's my motto!

I'm not sure what I'll wear it with but I'm sure between cosplay and historic stuff and all my friends theme parties it'll get plenty of use.
