Update Sunday edition

Girlfriend came over to hang out. We had fun. We ate and had fun, cuddled and talked. Lots of kissing and touching. Her skin is so soft and wonferful. I enjoy kissing her, she is a great kisser. My favorite is when she is above me kissing me or I'm in her lap.

I'm in a retrospective mood tonight. Thinking of what could have beens, what have beens, first meetings and all that shit. Thinking about shit I shouldn't but what's new. Hurtful stuff or hurtful to me. It happens from time to time especially when I get retrospective.

So girlfriend got me to download this cool app called The Pattern and it tells you if your friends or partner is a good match and the strengths you have in common. She and I are compatible according to it and it seems to kinds know me well in some aspects but I am weary on other aspects. Overall it is a fun app. It kinda tells you things about your partner or friends so you can in my instance be a better person for them. I like that. I like kinda knowing things about girlfriend so I can be a better partner to her. Not change myself but better myself. It's important to evolve as a person I believe.

I tried watching that new Dahmer netflix series but I didn't enjoy it. That made me upset so instead I starting watching Catching Killers. Scratches that itch about serial killers.

Day 8 - Finished Sweater

It's finished! While there are definitely some things I would change if I do this again (namely the sleeves) I'm very happy with the results. It's so warm and cozy, and I can't wait to wear it next weekend to an outdoor event we're going to! Hasn't been blocked, and may not be for some time as there's not really space for it to dry in our apartment.

ok you see it goes like this: turn on phone. navigate to browser app. open browser app. navigate to school email--oh it logged me out. log in. it has been more than 12 hours so i need to verify myself with push duo 2 factor authentication. swipe down to approve the notification--oh I have to open the app. open duo 2 factor authetication app. approve. navigate back to web browser. wait for email to load. immedietly close the app turn off my phone and walk into the sea

Day 7

I finished the first sleeve! Only one more to go. I have short arms, so I did have to make some changes to the pattern to make all the decreases fit in the sleeve, and I have some ideas for next time to make it fit me better, but so far I'm happy with it! Hoping to finish the second sleeve tomorrow but I don't know if I will be able to based on how long the first sleeve took me.

I've also used about 2 less balls of yarn than expected. The first sleeve only took one ball of yarn, so I'm anticipating the second to take the same, bringing my total to 7 balls of yarn (approximately 1400 yds) vs the 9 balls I expected (a little less than 1800 yds). I'm not sure if the pattern just gave a lot of wiggle room or if not, where I used that much less yarn, but I have about 1000 yds of this yarn left over, since I usually buy a little extra just in case, and used less than expected. If you have any ideas for what to make with what's left, let me know!
