How to prevent diabetes
1. ALWAYS DRINK WATER
        We should always drink water as part of your lifestyle, because it helps you to flush out all of the excess glucose in your body. Drinking water regularly will help your body not to hydrate and is also good for your well-being and health. It doesn’t have any other content like sugar, carbohydrates or calories, that’s why water is the ideal drink for everyone. And it also should be your primary drink. Water is not only for avoiding diabetes, but, it also prevents kidney damage. When you don’t drink water, it will sometimes cause you to have kidney stones (AKA UTI). Eating too much salty foods and not drinking a lot of water might give us sickness. And when you eat too much sweet food, and your pancreas cannot hold all of the glucose and sugar that you are taking, it might lead to diabetes. Not drinking water can also lead you to bad breath from your mouth will have many bacteria, So in short, when you don’t drink water, it will not only affect your pancreas but also the other two organs. So if you don’t want that to happen, always drink water.
2. Always eat fruits and veggies
        I actually believe in the saying “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away “, and I also believe that most people on earth hate fruits and vegetables, even me I hate them. But we have no choice since it is the healthiest food in the universe. Do you want proof? So, according to research, “fruits and vegetables contain important vitamins, minerals and plant chemicals and also contain fiber. So when you eat fruits and vegetables, it will lower down your probability of getting sick. It is not actually for diabetes only, but for every sickness. Of course you don’t only need to eat it when you are sick instead, make it a habit to try delicious and nutritious fruits like mangoes, strawberries and grapes, I myself really love them. Eat green vegetables that help in our digestion. Let’s be a responsible citizen so we can prevent harmful diseases and fight infections easily. Make sure to eat a balance diet. When you don’t eat these healthy foods, you will have a very high chance of getting sick or worse like Corona Virus. So if I’ll compare it to real life, fruits and vegetables are like safeguard. If guards and protects us from deadly diseases and prevent you from sickness.
3. Portion sizes

Eliminate Stressors.

vi) Panam: Drink the treated and boiled water only preferably warm with     shunthi, jeeraka, dalchini, nagarmotha, rakta chandan
vii) Ashanam :Eat warm fresh  simple, homemade, natural / organic food considering individuals digestive power. Moong dal, brown rice, seasonal vegetables with ghee and avoid market ready food ,including paneer and snacks
viii) Vyayama: Regular exercise for 20-40 minutes
ix) Yoga – Regular practice of Yoga Protocol including Paranayama
x) Nidra:adequate sleep for 7-8 hours at night. Avoid day time sleep

Stage 2.

Follow all above measures very strictly for this category, who are prone to this disease. Additional measures for improving the immunity may be as follows:
ii. Drink; The treated and boiled water only to be taken, preferably warm and cooked with shunthi, jeeraka, dalchini, nagarmotha, rakta chandan, khas, sugandhabala.
Drink water boiled with gold, lukewarm in sips. Use copper vessels as much as possible.
Drink desi cow milk boiled with equal quantity of water along with gold, reduced to quantity ofmilk, with a pinch of turmeric.
iii. Primary medications : Sudarshanghan vati, sanjeevani vati , Guduchi Ghana Vati (samshamani) 2 tablets twice/ thrice a day with cow milk or hot water to be given.
laxmivilas nardeeya,Laxminarayana rasa, Rasayana churna ( Aswagandha, Giloya, Gokshur equal part) half teaspoonful twice a day with ghee and honey is to be given.
iv. minimum Do’s (Pathya) and Don’ts (apathy) be added as
Apathya – To be Avoided
i)  Kapha vardhak and drying the kapha dravyas like
ii) Eggs, Meat
iii) Avoid kanda and salads
iv) Udad dal, Chana dal
v) Paneer, Curd, Cheej, Ice creams,
vi) Gobhi, aloo,  mashrooms, ladies fingure
vii) Banana, apple, chikoo
viii) Junk foods like Pizza, burger, hotdog,Biscuits, maggy, Maida products, Snacks, and Soya freezed items,
Pathya –Very cautiously use kaphanashak (but not with drying kapha and pitta vardhaka never use vata vardhaka)
i) Drink medicated water as specified earlier
ii) Ghrit bharjit niburasa bhavit ginger with marich and ajwain
Or Ghrit bharjit haridra,
iii)  Madhuyashti, tulsi, kantakari, gojihwa, Banaphsa, Shleshmantak kwath thrice a day
iv) Yava saktuk with ghee and madhu
v) Moong dal with ghee
vi) Pomgranate,Grapes, Amalaki
vii) Anjeer munakka kharjur with kalimirch ajwain kala namak
viii) Use fresh warm half boiled steamed and ghrit bharjit seasonal vegetables
ix) Regular use of giloya, kalmegha, dugdhika, haridra, phant
x) Panchkola srit yavagu
xi) Mahasudarshan Ghan Vati, Shanshamani Vati
xii) Drakshavaleha, Brahmrasayana, Chyavanprash, Madifal Rasayana
xiii) Yoga is to be regularly followed for combating stress and depression. Proper sleep is necessary.

Management of COVId 19 with the active participation of eminent, experienced AYUSH practitioners
CORONA affected cases may be categorised and managed as follows :
A. General population management for prevention (already covered in Stage 1 &2
B. Quarantined Peoples Not tested positive,
1. High Risk – These patients should be treated by medicines already described in Part 1 & 2 with proper pathyapathya.
High risk groups patients suffering from co-morbidities should be treated for these problems
Rasayana drugs for challenged organs
2. Low Risk Group – (PREVENTIVE CARE) – use of Sudarshan Ghana Vati, ShanshamaniVati, NaradiyaLaxmi Vilas Rasa<tribhuvanKirti Rasa. Shilajeet , abhrak bhasma, vishana bhasma, 64 prahari pippal, pipplyasava, amrit bhallaka can be used if required
C. Tested positive,
1. Asymptomatic –
2. Mildly Symptomatic – (CLINICAL CARE),
3. Tested Positive: Full blown but no serious complications – (SUPPORTIVE CARE) can be managed in modern hospitals as an add on therapy
4. Full blown disease with complications –these patients should be treated under the supervision of ICU staff only. Proper rejuvenation of the active patients of CVD 19 as their vital organs have been challenged and become susceptible to various diseases in future.
D. Recovery Phase:
1. Tested Negative – After recovery as per modern diagnostic tools which means the swab culture test negative with recovering of major respiratory symptoms the patients may be categorised by Doctors as cured should be followed for at least 45 days and provided Rasayana therapy and organ specific Rasayana so that the organs specially lungs recover fully and patient does not relapses as is happening in China.

I’d love to! I (Poe’s owner) have been answering questions about him privately to try and separate business / personal stuff on here, but the volume of Poe-related questions we’ve gotten has suggested I might be better off making a post about it. This will serve as a big Poe FAQ, info post, and overall masterpost (masterPoest?) dedicated to my favorite toucan!

I got Poe the way most bird owners got their birds - about three years of research, all five stages of grief as I went through bird behavior / personality traits and realized the “perfect bird for me” (I’ll get to that later) was one of the hardest to find and most expensive smaller birds on the market, and finally finding a breeder! I grew up with an abused cockatiel who eventually became my rescue, but as a result I was not in a position to adopt another special needs shelter pet due to the high levels of stress and anxiety the poor little bird was exuding. I have a very high stress job, despite working for myself from home, and needed a pet who was relaxed and cuddly around me but independent enough to go a full work day without getting lonely. So, a baby aracari it was! 
Poe is a Curl-Crested Aracari from Jerry Jennings at Emerald Forest Bird Gardens in Southern California. Toucans are legal to own as pets in the United States - in most states (like California) without a permit! Believe me, as a business, we would not be posting about having one if they were illegal. I wouldn’t even have one at all, to be honest, business or not. Aracari are essentially miniature toucans, and, unlike in dogs, the smaller birds tend to be the nicer ones! Poe’s curls are a breed trait that he will always have. They aren’t just baby feathers! And yes, they do feel like tiny casette tape!
We’ve had Poe since the end of July (2017) and every moment has been a delight. He was born on February 21st so as of this post he’s almost nine months old! Poe will live to be 20 years old if we’re lucky and take good care of him. Some more fun Aracari traits - they hop instead of walking, which gets very adorable very quickly. They have zygodactyl feet like most parrots, but need hops and flight to get around. They can’t climb like parrots do because of their beaks! Rhamphastids, or soft-bills, don’t even have the beak strength to crush a grape. They trill, coo, and bark (no squawking / screaming!) and are overall very quiet. They even choose designated pooping spots and will almost always fly back to their cages / perches to poop instead of pooping on you! They are VERY good fliers who can turn on a dime and even do backflips! Rhamphastids are also the only group of animals on earth whose tails have a ball and socket joint, allowing 360 degrees of motion! This allows them to roll up into little balls when they sleep. 
Poe (and all other Rhamphastids) eats healthy, low-iron fruits that have been diced up fresh for him every morning, 2-3 times a day. His regular diet varies daily and contains mixed amounts of papaya, cantaloupe, bananas, plums, raspberries, apples, honeydew, and blueberries, with blueberries being his favorites. His diet is supplemented by Mazuri low-iron pellets but NOTHING else! These guys are highly susceptible to iron-storage disease and need strict diets.  
A day in Poe’s life - he gets woken up between 7:30 and 8 each morning (but is usually already awake) to get some fresh fruit, water, and hugs! Then he helps me chop up his breakfast, flies a few laps, and goes back into his cage for the work day. He stays in his cage while unsupervised, but otherwise has free flight of the living room. During the day he amuses himself with paper shredder toys, bell or rattle toys, or hopping and dangling like a maniac. He likes to fly laps and play catch with himself when let out at night before snuggling into someone’s armpit, shirt, or in between the couch cushions to pass out before getting tucked into his little bed at 10. He’s very friendly, outgoing, trusting, and sweet. He’s the best pet I’ve ever had and I hope he’s with us for a very long time. 
Toucans are wonderful. I’ve repeatedly had them described to me as “the dogs of birds,” and have found that to be completely true. They’re playful, curious, snuggly, and love being a part of the family. They’re perfectly happy to sleep in your shirt or sit in a cage looking at you, so long as you’re nearby. Typically birds vary on an individual basis almost as much as we do, but I have found Aracari to be very similar across the board when it comes to behavior and personality. If anyone EXPERIENCED in avian husbandry (they have extreme dietary restrictions and toxin susceptibilities and MUST be free-flying) is on the lookout for their next bird, I would give the aracari family a serious consideration.
