It's impossible to play Baldur's Gate cos you'll be playing one character and then Gale will go and do something interesting so you start over with your Gale-romancing Tav and then Shadowheart will go and say something so you start over wi

i love icebrood saga astrid so much. she's so fed up with everything. her last remaining parental figure died. her friends are trying to reason with the dragon that has been terrorizing her people for centuries. an overgrown housecat thinks he can tame that dragon. she got shot by said overgrown housecat. she gets involved in someones warcrimes and is then forced to continue to work with and endure that guy. the homelands of her ancestors are being blown into smithereens by both her enemies AND her allies. her best friend is turning into a mindless dragon champion.
all of this sucks ass so bad and for the first time ever you can really really tell how pissed astrid is.

"I forgive you" is as much of a shield to Aziraphale as Crowley's glasses, even more so because he uses it to shield himself as well. Of any questions and doubts and criticisms. From anything he's not ready to hear. And especially from the pit of emotions Crowley elicits in him whenever he asks him to THINK of heaven's failures and of their relationship, instead of just ignoring it all and letting it fester

HEADCANONS. / TRAUMA.
i. due to her trauma, i don't think furina sleeps very well at night. at least, not often. he lays under his sheets and stares up at the ceiling with his arms around himself in complete silence. his expression falls flat or contorts into one of paranoia. there are some nights where he paces around, checks every single nook and cranny of his room because his fucking paranoia is kicked up to 11.
ii. there are days where sluggishness peaks through mask, slipping through here and there. on those particular days, furina is a bit more... jumpy, and not in the dramatique way. like, catch her off guard and she's jumping into the air looney toons style. despite how she feels, she's more active than ever on those days. gotta distract herself from the dread that comes from her trauma + lack of sleep
iii. ( sh warning, not graphic ) when it gets a bit too much to handle, furina grounds himself by biting his hands. due to this, his hands are bruised half of the time. thus, the gloves. sometimes you can seek the edge of a bruise stick out from time to time, and if you ask him about them he'll simply say that he's clumsy and did an oopsies. that said, his intention isn't to harm himself. he's just trying to ground himself as to not have a trauma moment in front of others.
iv. furina is a quiet crier. he's also quick to recover from crying ( being the hydro archon is great! ) and tends to cry alone. keywords being tends to. there are times where he remembers what happened and it hits like a damn aquabus. i think he has, in fact, sobbed in front of neuvillette. does he explain why? no. he does not. he will not explain and then laughs it off afterwards-- probably trying to brush it off of as some sort of performance. it's probably obvious that he's lying.
v. this man does not walk outside at night anymore. not alone. sometimes he'll look outside from a window but mostly? he stays "safe", keeping away from everything that could let another person in. safe is in quotes because that fear is always there. he's always looking out from the corner of his eye. furina is very, very paranoid. feeling safe when alone isn't exactly something that happens often after the incident.

i'll wake up early just to make a sketch of our lil thorny flower. too weak now to turn the lights on.
we love flowers, and roses among many others, too.
