YUMI X Fem!Reader - Packing and Slushees

Y/N had moved into ‘The Group Chat’ house. She was invited by her friend, Nick, and she was making herself right at home. Everyone was super nice and treated her just like they would treat anyone else in the house. She was still settling in, and a few boxes were still scattered around her room.

She was laying in bed and listening to some music, relaxing, when she heard a gentle knock on her door. “It’s open!” Y/N said, sitting up in her bed when Yumi walked in.

“Uhh hey.” He said, taking a seat on her bed. “What’s up?” She said, stretching her arms up. Yumi looked her up and down before averting his eyes.

The two didn’t talk as much since Yumi seemed like an introvert from how she saw him and Y/N didn’t want to push her luck with her newfound friends.

“I was just checking in.” He said softly. His eyes drifted across the many boxes in her room. “Still unpacking?” He said, looking back over to her. Her face flushed a bit with embarrassment. “Uhh.. yeah.”

“Want some help?”

“Sure.”

Y/N got up from her bed, getting a box and opening it up. “Go ahead and open up some boxes.” She passed him a pair of scissors.

While they were setting things up, they turned out to get along really well! They had a lot in common when I came to... everything!

After a bit of time, they were sitting on her bed, talking.

“Man… I’m tired as fuck.” Yumi said, chuckling.

“Same…” Y/N said, looking over at him.

"Thanks, by the way.” Y/N said, a soft blush on her face. Was her heart fluttering for... Yumi?

“Yeah, anytime.” He said, smiling.

They sat in silence for a bit, glancing at each other every now and then.

Y/N finally broke the comfortable silence.

“Wanna go get some slushees?” She said, turning her head towards him with a small smile.

And they were off! Yumi was driving them to their nearest 7-11 to get some slushees.

They got their slushes and were now sitting on top of the hood of his car.

Yumi got blue, and Y/N got red.

“You know… I thought you didn’t like me when we first met.” Yumi said before sipping on his drink.

“What? Why?”

“I dunno… You seemed very distant.”

“I was distant because I thought you weren’t super social!” Y/N said, giggling before sipping on her drink as well.

“Not super social? My whole life is social media.” He laughed.

After their shared fits of laughter, they shared eye contact.

“You know you’re pretty, right?” Yumi said, breaking the silence.

“What? No, I’m not.” She blushed with a small smile.

“No, you really are.” He said, a soft smile growing on his face.

She scooted closer to him.

He scooted closer to her.

And eventually, they pulled each other into a soft, gentle kiss.

They just stared at each other after, smiles on their faces.

“You know… Nick said we had a lot of romantic tension when we first met.” Yumi teased, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

“WHAT?”
