In Arcane and Moon Knight, a random guy, I guess to be intimidating, licks the blade of the dagger/knife he is using as a weapon, right before he attacks.

And boy do I “want” a scene of some idiot doing that in a fight, but they end up cutting their own tongue.

I mean, I don’t really want to see that. But at the exact same time, it would be very funny and completely take the fight somewhere else entirely.

Like, this random goon is trying to be a badass and all cool and dangerous, and then they cut their own tongue and the good guy is like what the hell.

Maybe the good guy even ends up taking the goon to the hospital.

Whatever happens, I just think it would be very funny.

Also, the random goon licking his dagger happens in the third episode of both these show, so that’s a fun coincidence, I guess.

There’s something so (gestures vaguely with my hands) about how Marc says “I am unwell. I need help,” and then immediately shuts down any offers of help or sympathy. Harrow was really a very convenient scapegoat for him to deflect attention away from his problems in that moment. It didn’t work, of course, since nothing came out of it, but it successfully got the gods to shift focus away from Marc.

I could hypothetically ramble about this forever, but I will not. 💕
