Shattered Hero ~ Origins of the Ink Demon : Episode Maka Finale (7/11) ~

[Abandoned Egg Carrier]

Seto : Heh. That doll was much more frightening than other demons that I'm not so sure About. When did the last time it jumpscared everyone after the curse was only a programming from previous data?

Solva : Gladly that we put up a show to stuffed doll. Who knows? It's likely what those programming of a doll can create a hellish realm of his own, it's not like that's gonna ever happen to us. So this doll was revived with demonic powers and was given the significant basics that was given the powers of body horror and Eldritch horror. I bet that mating with an eldritch horror is kinda disturbing about the bonds with humans and monsters. That totally freaked me out and give me the chills.

Seto : Well, it's programming was it to create the curse was simply not what it seems, but having powers that makes creepy, when did the mad scientist get that Annabelle stuff from where? Huh? Saya? Where did she go, and what is this place? Hey, Disk-Chan. What do you think of this place. Hey, Disk-Chan! Guess the whole place is empty except for the robot maids that are cleaning ship, I don't know why anyone doesn't work at this ship anymore.

[Behind them is Disk-Chan appearing from the monitor]

Disk-Chan : That's because this ship was abandoned after the incident of that liquid entity named Chaos that crashed landed on the ocean surface around 8 years ago. (Seto and Solva jumpsacre)

Seto : D-Disk-Chan! Y-You're here!

Solva : And how did you get your head so big?

Disk-Chan : I might knew that you would figure it out. And my head's not big, I accessed it with personal data through the via network system. Grim told me that you, Solva, was supposed to lookout for the castle and I had finally notice that the two-tailed doll was snooping around!

Solva : Yeah, I might noticed that one. I didn't know that a two-tailed fox doll would be sneaky on leading us here to this abandoned aircraft. I look humble apologies to not lookout for Master Grim.

Seto : Say, Disk-Chan. How on earth did you do that.

Disk-Chan : Easy! I hacked into the ship's control network by lending a hand for Lain Iwakura.

Seto : Lain Iwakura, that weird famous computer girl from 8 years ago? Everyone heard the news said that she disappeared.

Disk-Chan : Didn't disappeared, she disappeared from Tokyo and relocated herself to an abandoned facility, used to be a launch base used by Deathscythe creator Professor G, but the place was built by under the supervision of Drawcial Family Corporation and NERV. So now that place where she resides is now called the "Iwakura-Maxwell Residence". Otherwise originally known as the Deathscythe Launch Base, a place that is much livelier than The Titans Tower in California.

Seto : Heh. Seems like a girl from the near end of the 20th century doesn't seems like lending a hand would be so cool.

Disk-Chan : What else is there?

Seto : Is this Lain person weird or something?

Disk-Chan : What? no? She's a genius and technological wizard! Besides she's like the witch of Data and Memory space. (clears throat) Gladly that you all survied the realm, That Tails Doll curse was nothing more than a typical programming made by Creepypasta.

Seto : Creepypasta? That Internet horror freak, the Tails Doll Curse was made up by data all along! I knew the Mad Scientist wouldn't create a stinking doppelganger that is supposed to be a Metal Tails or something, but why creating doll that is real fearful to people? Was it a demon or something?

Disk-Chan : Perhaps that the Tails Doll Curse was only part of it's programming, It's got nothing to do with the greatest Deathless that determines to be Shinigami!

Seto : Yep! See these guns? (flexes her arm) These are not just average arm and weapon to deal with a fierce creature like me! But where to find the exit? Hey, Disk. Does the ship have like any kind of transport?

Disk-Chan : Sure. I'll bring it down for ya. It appears that all of it's engines are still running, and I don't know why it just crashed landed in the ocean.

Solva : Obiviously, it was that blue hedgehog that came all the way to rescue that Pink one and then decided to trashed down the ship, but also, the the robot that was chasing down Amy and that blue flicky, I believe he caused a mess in the Hot Shelter, the only place that a blue hedgehog does not go in.

Seto : And why is that?

Solva : Because the only one that is running ship's functions are all running from this purplish robot that was transformed into a stationary defense unit, "E-105 Zeta."

Seto : So, umm, nothing's too damped around in this giant ship that was did not sink into the ocean, but crashed landed on the surface. What else is there? (We then cut to the girls seeing the ocean)

Seto :Wow! Talk about getting yourself lost on a giant ship with no to cruise for. I can see the ocean clearly.

Solva : So this is the Egg Carrier that we're on, but we need to get aboard to the halberd. Surrounded by oceans and swimming across is to get aboard, are filled with deadly sharks.

Seto : The Ocean's predators, from walking the plank to the Shark Attacks. No where to swim, no where to survive, but this place has definitely got no food or water over here. Just an empty feeling on getting something to eat.

Solva : Good thing I brought lunch, It's a Bento Box made from the Reaper's finest chefs. I got mine as well.

Seto : Oh, boy! Let's eat while we wait!

(scene changes to the girls sitting down on the central dome, eating their lunch from their Bento box)

Seto : So, now that we're waiting for the arrival. I always looked into becoming Shinigami, the title that I wanted to reclaim. It's funny that Botan was the previous Shinigami before Ichigo and then Ryuk, I've known Shounen characters that has ever seen a Shinigami or became the Shinigami. Me, yeah, I definitely wanted to become Shinigami because I was chosen the death gods and gave me a sword that can cut down any beings. They say that the sword I was given has the power to make me a God of Death, it was created and hand crafted by the Gods of Death. I used to be a part of the Mercenary Guild or something like that in the world of Needless, but eventually both you and solva died during the final battle with archlight and we ended up here in the 21st century of Real World AU. So the Shingamis did requested me on becoming Death Gods after our reversed Isekai theory made us to live in Real World AU.

Solva : That's wonderful to hear. Even though, I still have my personality, my true personality that is a deadly sadistic monster inside me. My parents, friends, and teacher too. I was outcasted and I only met you at the school. Do you remember the year you were born?

Seto : Well, ummm...

Solva : Seto, don't lie to me. What was the day when you were born.

Seto : Although I'm still looking alike 17 year old girl. But does that mean I'm born in...

*Clock ticking*

Seto : Wait a sec, I was born in 1987, but I nearly died during the space colony ark incident before I go Isekai again, but then Master Grim came and gave me the Sacred Sword of the Reaper, crafted by the Angels of Death.

Solva : Oh yeah, that's right. I used to work as a maid at an affluent place that you grew up at. But that's when I realize that I died during the final battle with Archlight and I was reversed Isekai to the real world. So I did too become a Deathless. We were the girls that became a Deathless Somebody.

Seto : Yep. That's right, I was once lived in a mansion full of affluent people, and I understand why I did not care about the money, although they attempted to get rid of me, but I slayed everyone, I killed the parents that I never had and left that to keep everything. Nobody would able to think that I don't even have a family anymore, the only family that I have are Darts, Kanna, Master Grim, and you. That is why I don't care about money, I care about you!

Solva : (giggles) Maybe you're right, you do care about me and not just greed. So I'm not a bit too shabby about personality, you were not the one who killed your parents, I did.

Seto : Eh? When did that happened?

Solva : My sadistic personality just made killed the affluent people and I was feel sorry for what I've done and then, I made you an apology sandwich treaty.

Seto : Well, that sucks. It turns out that my parents aren't affluents, they're low lives. And all the money they have were stolen, so I actually made money by working as a hero in the real world.

Solva : That's what I expected.

"later..."

Seto : Oh man. That lunch sure filled me up, I think that's what I represent a fine classy meal from the castle. Master Grim sure know how to make that delicious fine meal of that. That hit the spot.

Solva : It sure is! That's why I made it myself just for you.

Seto : ...!? Ehh...!? What? No! It's not like that it's...Umm...maybe I might be you're right. It was that lunch that you gave me, not to mention it, it was kinda tasty to have an important meal of the day. So, the arrival should be here soon. Hmm? What's this dead robot doing on the deck's central dome?

Solva : And I found another one. It's black and it has a some kind of symbols with numbers. This one's "Beta". The Alpha one is the Bird Catcher.

Seto : And this red dead robot that is lying on the floor is...

*flashing images of Gamma are shown*

Seto : The member of the elite crew...E-102 Gamma. And that one over there is his "Brother" Beta. These robots were just a couple of badniks that were serving for Dr. Robotnik to search for the emeralds, but during his time in the story, his brothers were sent away in different locations while Beta and Zeta remained only on the ship.

Seto : Yeah, Gamma. That's the name Omega mentioned, he died right here at the deck, facing an ill-fated battle with his brother, E-101 Beta. Despite being a robot, these machines were powered by flickies and Gamma was never heard again until Omega mentioned them.

Solva : Oh my. That is pleasantly sad story! He was a cool robot and a good friend to Amy and now he's gone forever.

Seto : Can't say that he's been destroyed by his own brother for 8 years, so that's why Omega never met them. It's probably a shame that no one on this ship survived and then two robots were shown and got destroyed in an ill-fated battle. That Gamma Master Grim mentioned during the Space Colony Ark incident were only just copies of this one the original and for Chaos Gamma,during the Gizoid incident, yeah not the same one as usual. Inside on it's back, the two flickies were freed from being powered inside the robot, that's why his story was so tragic. Eggman had the nerves to keep it all a secret just make everyone a tearjeaker.

Solva : I know, right? Who does that to birds anyway, they're just machines. (hears a jet roaring) Seto, Look!

Seto : What could that be?

Solva : There! That might be our transport! Get a load of this! (Seto takes binoculars to see them through) Do you see anything what's coming down here? Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

Seto : (viewing from Binoculars) Hmmm...That's not a bird nor a plane. That's a spacecraft shape like a Phantom! That's the Falcon Flyer! (The Falcon Flyer arrives)

Seto : It's a Falcon? Well it's just like Samus Aran's spaceship.

Solva : But who's flying that thing?

Captain Falcon : Hey there, ladies. You need a ride to hitch? That little Pink demon went off to Meta Knight's ship to hitch a ride into space!

Solva : It's only that Mr. Falcon guy.

Captain Falcon : I heard that you were on your way to Meta Knight's ship, guess that means I'll take you there to head for the

Seto : Oh great, a smasher. Just what we needed. Well, you can say that we let this cat out of the bag. We're on way to stop a pseudo ruler that is the going to cover the galaxy in darkness. Do you think that we needed ourselves a ride to space? Could that be a great help?

Captain Falcon : Could it be? (laughs triumphantly)

Seto : (looks at Solva) You thinking what I'm thinking?

Solva : Always planned for a biggest trip ever. Going into the stars. (fist bumps Seto)

Captain Falcon : Next stop! Dark Nebula's domain in space! Hang to your seats cause it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Seto : Hang on Tight, Seto! We're going to Space!

Captain Falcon : C'mon! Go Falcon!

(the Falcon Flyer blasts off)

The Goddess Gate: With six years of partnership, Natsu and Lucy are torn apart by a mysterious visit from a secret magic council. Lucy is kidnapped and her memories suppressed. She fights her way back home to regain her life - with a startling secret revealed as she begins to remember. The lives of all Earthland hang in the balance. **Okay, this is a wicked old fic - but amazingly written and fuelled my own desires for writing. Last updated in 2018 but who knows? Some current attention may slay any demons on her back in regards to writing - and even if not - the hours of enjoyment reading this is worth giving a comment just to say, ‘thank you for writing.‘

Wild Rhov: Do I even need to say anything about this author? Famous, famous, famous. Excellent. Writes a lot of pairings and fleshes every relationship into something REAL. I Can’t Even. @wildrhov

Beastly Possession: Something is murdering people in Magnolia. When Lucy is attacked, Natsu goes on a rampage to find the culprit, and everyone in Fairy Tail wants revenge. But could this bloodthirsty attacker be someone they know? Warning: High octane nightmare fuel! Do not read while eating, and beware of red eyes in the dark!

Shell1331: Introduced via Imp. This writer is in a few fandoms and is worth reading. @shell-senji

Juicy: Impulsivity and poorly chosen words get Natsu into more trouble than he’d expected, which is saying something for him.

AbsentAngel: Everyone should know this writer. Been stalking her since 2014 so that says something. Tho, it’s prolly just that I’m creepy. ;) My suggested fic here is being re-written/has been? into something original and worth being purchased when it becomes available and re-read over and over. Marvel’s Loki Episode 4: MCU Easter Eggs and References

“Marvel, you’ve done it again!”

OK, but seriously…this is the best episode of Loki yet, and one of the best examples of the MCU’s Disney+ TV strategy full stop. Plenty of drama and action, to be sure, but also packed with surprises, some of which are very much things that Marvel Comics and MCU fans will be excited about, and others a little more subtle.

Here’s all the good stuff we’ve found in Loki episode 4 so far. If you spot anything we missed, let us know in the comments!

Valkyrie

Young Sylvie (young Lady Loki? What’s the correct nomenclature here?) is playing with her toys, and is reenacting (or imagining) a legendary battle involving one of the Valkyrie.

The Origin of Sylvie

This episode makes it pretty clear that Sylvie is 100% a Loki, and had at least part of a childhood on Asgard.

There are some subtle touches with how we see her booked into the TVA. The pile of papers indicating “everything you’ve ever said” is much smaller than the one presented to Loki in episode one. The camera lingers on the scorched floor to indicate the real danger (and the one a child would feel) of that checkpoint disintegrating you, etc.

Considering the extremely traumatic and messed up way the TVA just stormed in and took Sylvie away, it pretty much explains her habit of never wanting to sit with her back to doors.

Not Natasha!

Hey, remember when the trailers for this show were hitting and everyone (including us) thought there was a shot of Loki talking to Black Widow’s soul on Vormir? Whoops! Turns out that was just Loki and Sylvie on Lamentis-1 after all!

Blade is Coming to the MCU

Mobius talks up all the different types of beings that they’ve dealt with, including “Kree, Titans, and vampires.” This is the first confirmation of vampires existing in the MCU, right? Blade reboot, here we come!

The Eternals Connection

When Mobius mentions “Titans” he isn’t talking about the team of DC heroes. Instead, the Marvel Titans are Eternals who primarily inhabit (wait for it) Titan, the homeworld of Thanos.

Kree

Any self-respecting MCU and Captain Marvel fan knows who the Kree are at this point, of course. But remember that we also saw a member of their rival species, a Skrull, being booked into the TVA in the first episode. The TVA’s jurisdiction is truly boundless.

Lady Sif

Loki is tortured by the (justifiably) abusive words and punches of Lady Sif, as played by Jaimie Alexander. Previously, Sif was quietly forgotten due to her notable lack of appearance in Thor: Ragnarok and the lack of any reference to her since then. In real life, it was because Alexander was busy with her TV show Blindspot.

As for the in-story reason, according to Kevin Feige, the official explanation is that after her appearances on Agents of SHIELD, Sif was banished from Asgard by Loki (disguised as Odin) in fear that she could expose his ruse to the rest of the realm. She was one of Thanos’ victims during the big snap, but was brought back five years later.

Interestingly, this encounter with Sif seems to be referencing a story from Norse mythology, although in a slightly skewed fashion. Here, Sif is annoyed with Loki for cutting her hair without her permission. But in Norse mythology (and at least one Marvel Comics story), Loki was the reason that Sif’s hair was black and not blonde, having magically changed it while she slept as a joke.

The Time-Keepers are Fake!

In the first Avengers movie, Nick Fury compared Loki to the Wicked Witch of the West from Wizard of Oz, giving us the famous, “I understood that reference!” Captain America meme. This episode keeps the Loki/Wizard of Oz connection going with the way the Timekeepers are merely a fake identity meant to scare and grandstand. I guess we’ll have to wait to see who’s really behind the curtain, though.

Considering the way they’re laid out and dressed, the Timekeepers are most definitely supposed to be reminiscent of the Three Most Important People in the World, the futuristic utopian rulers who set things in motion in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure to keep the correct timeline intact.

Sylvie is held in Time Theater 47. The number 47 has a strangely deep connection to science fiction. The number occurs frequently in Star Trek: The Next Generation. This is because writer Joe Menosky attended Pomona College, where 47 is something of a meme, due to two students in the ‘60s researching whether the number appears more frequently than others. The nameless protagonist of the Hitman videogame series is also named Agent 47.

The Variant Lokis and the Post-Credits Scene

Loki wakes up and we get an homage to that famed shot in Avengers when Loki finds himself on the ground, surrounded by hostile heroes. Except this time they are Lokis. And…is that a crumbling Avengers tower we see in the background.

Of all the variant Lokis, the most significant of these is…

Kid Loki

Kid Loki made his first appearance in Thor #617 in 2010. Feeling he had hit a dead end as the God of Mischief and was too distrusted for his schemes to matter, Loki set up his own death in the event Siege, where he was killed by the Void. He was reborn as his child self, from back when he was beloved and still relatively innocent. While mischievous, Kid Loki tried to break the chains of what his previous self had become and used his powers to help Asgard and his brother. By the time he proved himself heroic, the soul of the previous Loki was able to overtake his body and ride on his reputation.

The conclusion of that story suggested that the status quo wouldn’t allow for a heroic Loki for too long, but instead of going full-on evil again, the new form of Loki instead fell into bouts of guilt over his actions. This led to Kid Loki joining the Young Avengers and eventually aging himself up to a young adult.

So hey, Disney+ shows are three-for-three on introducing Young Avengers characters!

Alligator Loki

The alligator Loki doesn’t exactly come from the comics, but it does seem to be a nod to the incident where Loki transformed Thor into a frog during the Walt Simonson run of the Thor comics. While the adventure was short lived, Frog Thor was such a beloved concept that it’s been revisited various times, including making it a separate character (real name Simon Walterson, because of course).

Classic Loki

Richard E. Grant makes an absolutely perfect comics-accurate Loki. Not only is the costume a perfect version of the way the character was portrayed in the pages of Marvel Comics for decades, where Loki was far more evil than MCU fans might be used to and…also kind of looked like Richard E. Grant now that we think about it.

Also, folks who have been rightly noting the Doctor Who parallels on this show will also note Grant has played the Doctor in a couple of forms in his time, as well.

“Boastful Loki”

We don’t know who that cool looking armored Loki wielding what looks like Mjolnir is exactly, but he’s credited as “Boastful Loki.” He sounds fun.

Miscellaneous Time Variants

Even though they’ve been around since the first episode, the “So… you’re a variant,” posters on the desk in the end credits certainly hits differently, doesn’t it?

The Moonlighting energy that we were getting last week with Sylvie and Loki seems to have been transferred this week to Loki and Mobius. Not that we’re complaining.

When Loki wakes up during the post-credits scene, he wonders whether he has arrived in hell. But of course, the closed captioning reveals that Loki is speaking of Hel, the Norse underworld overseen by the goddess Hel.

◤°░｡ ✕ HEADCANONS ; FAMILY ! ’ 〉

❛ &. ONE: valentin moon’s wealth can be attributed to many things, but the most prominent are his skills of intimidation and his multi-billion dollar company. violetta moon is the daughter of an oil titan and ex supermodel, inheriting both wealth and beauty. vaughn moon was born exactly four years before verena, and in that short amount of time he solidified his spot in the hierarchy. verena’s father hardly bothered with her during her formative years, valentin already sensing she would bring trouble. verena’s mother treated her like a pawn, and she was violetta’s favorite doll until she started acting up. to say the relationship between the moon family are strained is an understatement — their interactions with each other are nothing but a big game of chess. power and control are two of her parent’s favorite words, and the ways in which they exert the concepts over their children are more than questionable, dangerously teetering between discipline and abuse. ❛ &. TWO: the moon’s have a famous party every korean new year. a rather extravagant event, verena’s entire family ( on both her mother and father’s sides ) fly in to new york to attend the party. since the moon’s used to live in seoul, now in the states verena’s extended family almost always stay in town for an entire week after. but it is never a joyful event. since both her parents were members of diadem imperium, the whole party often seems like a big competition between a group of people who have been trained to swallow their pride. cousins are pitted against each other as tensions arise about the proper heirs of the moon family business, which verena is not sure she wants a part of, anyway. ❛ &. THREE: although verena and her brother grew up together and are relatively close in age, she was never close to vaughn. as children they were wildly different — vaughn never asked why and verena always wondered why not. he never had to battle with his ambition, that drive to be the very best never existing inside his heart like it used to in verena’s. when they grew up and vaugn went away to st andrews, their relationship became even more strained. her brother did a 180, going from poster child to problem child in a few short years where verena had to pay for every mistake he made. even now, tales and rumors of vaughn’s notorious legacy while he was in diadem imperium follow verena and people are often shocked by just how different she is from her wild brother. ❛ &. FOUR: the rivalry between the moon family and the seoung family is something verena has been aware of for as long as she can remember, although the reasoning behind such a strong distaste was never revealed to her. all she was taught to do was scoff at the mention of the seoung name, roll her eyes at the tales of them or their accomplishments, and never ever become even an acquaintance with anyone related to their family. and so when verena was faced with orion seoung, it was practically embedded into her dna to hate him. the fact that he seemed to be her polar opposite certainly made it easier, in fact, verena often feels her dislike towards the prideful male has little to do with their family rivalries and everything to do with their clashing personalities. she’s curious to know if orion was clued into what happened between their families, but the last thing verena would do is put herself in a position where he can hold power over her, no matter how much she wants the truth.

◤°░｡ ✕ HEADCANONS ; APPERANCE ! ’ 〉

❛ &. FIVE: it’s no secret verena is generally considered short. at exactly five foot four, most people tend to tower over her. she’s grown to hate it, the unbalance just another thing feeding into her low opinion of herself. one of her biggest pet peeves is when someone brings up her height in and argument to add to the point as if it even correlates. she’s gotten used to good-natured teasing from friends, but verena is still weary whenever the topic is brought up. ❛ &. SIX: instructed by her mother to never become a woman who values her appearance over her abilities, verena never learned to love or care for makeup. growing up she wasn’t allowed to use anything but blush, and so she never learned the skills needed to perfect a wing until she was much older. even now, free to do as she pleases ( for the most part ), it is rare to see verena with anything but a natural makeup look. part of it is truly her own lack of motivation or interest to learn, but a bigger part of her does it so as not to attract more attention to her outward appearance than she has to. ❛ &. SEVEN: verena has always preferred to keep her hair long. as a little girl she would cry crocodile tears every time she was taken to get a hair cut, always afraid the hairdresser would take more than just the tips. even though verena often has her hair half up, she always tries to keep a part of it down from time to time just to see how much it has grown. after high school she chopped it to her shoulders once in an act of frustration, and she has been keeping it long ever since.

◤°░｡ ✕ HEADCANONS ; UNIVERSITY ! ’ 〉

❛ &. EIGHT: outside of diadem imperium, it is extremely hard for verena to make friends. closed off and bad at expressing her emotions, most people who come across verena in their lecture falsely perceive her to be rude. she only ever interacts with her classmates for group projects, not seeing the point in exerting the energy when she knows she’s not good at making friends. discussion classes are the only times her classmates get to see her come to life, verena having no shyness when it comes to debating, especially debating those whose confidence borders on cockiness. ❛ &. NINE: double majoring in political science and finance, verena is doing everything that is expected of her from the moon family. and while she doesn’t find it all terribly boring, and even enjoys some aspects of her fields of study, if verena had been free of outside pressure she would have studied something like art history or classic literature. she has always had an affinity for the arts but no means of expressing it, the mere notion of a hidden passion laughable ( or punishable if her family ever found out ) so she’s kept it to herself. ❛ &. TEN: as much as verena tries to find it, being a part of diadem imperium makes her feel important. in fact, at times it even makes her feel above others at the university just because of how exclusive it is, but the feeling is forbidden to her so it doesn’t last long. she likes that she can be a part of something much bigger than she is, something that existed before her and will continue to exist after she passes. and although she certainly doesn’t see eye to eye with every member, verena treasures the rules and laws they make as well as the things they do.

◤°░｡ ✕ HEADCANONS ; TIDBITS ! ’ 〉

❛ &. ELEVEN: verena’s aesthetic includes the smell of parchment, tortoise shell glasses, neutrals, sensible shoes, charcoal smudges, freshly brewed coffee, the sound of a typewriter, crisp autumns, burnt orange, the distant sound of fireworks, the belated awareness when you first wake up, paper wrapped flowers, breezy nights, golden accents, bubble baths, big coats, classic literature, white sheets, lavender, city skylines, trembling hands, satin hair ribbons, monet paintings and old hollywood. ❛ &. TWELVE: verena is tragically allergic to pineapple, and only found out when someone informed her it isn’t normal for her tongue to go numb while eating it. when she is drunk and sipping on her preferred fruity cocktails, you have to physically stop verena from ordering something with pineapple and eating it anyway. ❛ &. THRITEEN: struggling with irregular insomnia, it isn’t rare to find verena in a period of sleeplessness, especially if she’s particularly stressed. to keep people from worrying verena often keeps herself busy with cleaning or working, friends often commentating how productive she is instead of noticing how she hasn’t been sleeping. the only way to truly tell she has entered one of these periods of restlessness is when you catch her snoozing in the common room in the middle of the day. ❛ &. FOURTEEN: verena has never broken a bone, although she has sprained her wrist twisting away from her mother’s grasp when she was young. after that incident they were careful not to grasp her so violently in public. verena is often skeptical whenever someone tries to rope her into a reckless feat, the fear of breaking a bone someday very real. ❛ &. FIFTEEN: as a child verena wasn’t allowed to have any pets, and so to compensate the moon’s let her keep plants. now she is especially skilled at keeping houseplants alive, wherever she is living always full of them. succulents are her new obsession, and she tends to stop and buy one whenever she is out and spots someone selling. ❛ &. SIXTEEN: verena absolutely loves baths. she prefers to take a shower before taking a bath for cleanliness purposes, but if given the option the girl will always choose baths. she has an assortment of products from bath bombs to bath salts and bubbles and she makes it a point to use one at least once a week. she lights candles when she bathes purely for the ambiance, although she finds candle light is surprisingly nice for some relaxing reading. ❛ &. SEVENTEEN: people are often shocked when profanity slips past verena’s tongue, so used to her usually mild mannered demeanor. but it is certainly not an uncommon occurrence, her preferred curse word being fuck just because of how versatile it is. often times when she is especially frustrated, verena will whisper a foreign stream of curses under her breath, usually directed at herself and not anyone else ( with the exception of orion ).
