Hi! I just felt my autistic sense of justice and played tone police in your comments. Sorry about that, but their behavior as a fellow fanfiction writer was not okay. We have an etiquette, and there are some manners you should have when being part of a fandom.

About your fic: I liked it. It's definitely a different take on Steve since the fandom headcanons him mostly hung like a horse, and you wrote his insecurity and emotion well.

Billy and Tommy are dicks—nothing new. It is definitely behavior I can see them have without it being too out of character.

It's a little short and not finalized, which is expected since it's a series, and this is part one, after all. The wording was very good. The emotions came across. We were thrown into the story and got carried along.

Only thing I’d do is use the “keep reading” feature // :readmore: since it's easier for people coming across your story and/or reblogging it! BUT I am aware that that feature is currently a little buggy, so no biggy!

I also don't like people using ‘’ instead of “” but it is a personal peeve of mine and a question of personal taste and stylistic choice, therefore a me problem, not one for you to worry about.

Please don't let yourself get discouraged by this one person lacking manners, and continue writing. You clearly have a vision of where to take this series.

Hi. I appreciate this, you told me your likes and some constructive criticism, even though you weren’t really criticizing me lol. I thought my idea for the storyline for ole stereotypical king Steve, was pretty good imo🤷🏽‍♀️

I make it very apparent that I’m not a writer( so yes I will have flaws) and yes; I do write short thoughts or mini ideas I have and people seem to like it.

I’m sure some people don’t like reading about how Chrissy would be an evil bitch in fics, because she so sweet in the show right? I don’t make characters to be assholes on purpose. I just do what I do, and yes I like Billy and yes I made Billy a dick.. because he is one? I could have made him like so very very evil but I made it pretty basic.

Also, I never really liked (‘ ‘) either but everytime I made people talk (“””) just felt like so many dots to me. I still haven’t figured out what I like better; but I do get why the ‘ ‘ looks odd. The “keep reading” thing is back and forth for me, idk how to make it always say that :/

*inhale* all demons and angels don't have a gender and are rather free in its expression throughout the day and the others know what pronouns to use that day because they can subconsciously feel it but when the exchange program gets announced and mc comes over they as the human are not made aware of such a thing because diavolo had done research on gender presentation in the human world + the fact they were all beings not every human knew of and had to adjust first so it would be easier to wrap their head around just one presentation and the beings had to get used to it before they told mc about everything later on so they could all be open about everything, in this essay i will

so as a roleplayer who made this account for fun,i’ve never expected to see so much disrespect to my roleplayer/chatbot friends

few minutes ago i clearly said that it’s enough

please read carefully what i’m about to say

every rp/cb has their privacy and their own life, and some people just don’t know that even though it has been said a few times already. invading our privacy doesn’t make you cool, okay? we make groupchats so we can communicate with our own rp/cb friends and that doesn’t give you the right to stalk us and watch what we talk about, nor does it give u the right to make a whole fuss about it and make 5 posts about it. 

being needy or horny in the asks doesn’t make you cool, like do you expect us to answer to ‘omg daddy fuck me harder than u fuck ur lover’? hell. no.

it makes us uncomfortable, even the viewers who see the ask, including the person you asked that. please remember that there are people who are under the age of 18 that view the blog or chat with it

if you’re under the age of 18 and act horny and needy, including bratty, i think you make all of us uncomfortable, we have our limits, when we give you hints to stop, you should stop

if you tag a rp/cb in every. single. post that you make, it’s annoying, we have the right to block you, so be careful about what posts you make.

if you stalk a rp/cb, you’re considered as an internet-sasaeng.

seriously, we need our own privacy. just let us live for god’s sake. we’re not your dolls that you play and chat with, okay? 

we make our blogs for entertainment purposes, and not to be your toy.

if you act to be that rp/cb’s friend who you have known for like 10 years, then stop it.

there’s a big difference between black and white lies. 

white lies are good and better than the black ones, ‘cause you lie for the good, and not for the bad, this includes: lying to save someone (for example)

black lies are bad and evil, which most of the internet does. black lies include: telling others that you’re depressed when you’re really not (check r/im14andthisisdeep on reddit for examples) (these are examples btw)

Quick musing;

So like, here’s the thing with me and Sheith (and the fandom as a whole).

When I watched the show with my sister, it was just sorta something for us to do. We’d heard of it, of course, and were fairly familiar with how angry Klantis would get, but we never had much interest until she finished a third rewatch of Call the Midwife and suddenly needed filler. I didn’t set out to join the fandom. Hell, even once I paid attention I was never super invested. 

Then I saw Keith and Shiro.

I was honestly, completely stunned how blatantly intimate their interactions feel... and the fact that no one told me. How is it not everywhere? It’s... it’s just. It’s obvious.

Like. Take fandom back seven years, and we’d see Sheith everywhere. I’m talking Johnlock levels, gifs and gifs and more gifs, cutesy edits spam-reblogged unaccredited, thousands of teenagers going hearteyes over every episode. The prevalence and intrusiveness would be stunning.

And sure, I’m glad the current shippers are more mature then that, but it’s kinda sad for me to think about how a natural, seamless pairing was bullied into minority status. I feel like there’s a lot of people who would watch, and adore, Voltron if they knew much about Sheith outside of discourse bullshit. So many people robbed of potentially life-defining fandom.

(That’s absolutely not to say you have to ship it, btw. It’s more that I think there’s people who would if they hadn’t been scared away.)

I’m still not really in the fandom--at least, my interest is very specific and casual, catered towards certain creators and dynamics--but, I gotta say, Sheith honestly feels canon. The fact that the big, beautiful, emotional, incredibly animated human-on-human action scene was with evil!Shiro and Keith just cements where the crew’s interest seems to be.

If it stays platonic, that’s fine. I’m not invested enough for it to bother me nor would I fault the crew. But it’s sorta insane that I hadn’t heard about any of this and had to discover it completely on my own when it’s a major fandom.

The DM gains most of it's money from online ad revenue and they're an evil organisation who had a columnist encourage his readers to harass a trans woman to death and who publish baseless stories to whip up xenophobia and Islamaphobia in the UK (google "Immigrants eating swans").

Honestly, that won't be needed to do that (to google that is, I believe you).
