There are other Columbos I wouldn't recommend, but this is the first one that isn't even worth watching.

Also, respectfully, the "Columbophile" blog is dead wrong about the score being good let alone "excellent" and it's legit embarrassing that Bernardo Segáll wasn't fired after his 1st score for the series. I think the Dick Van Dyke episode's his first. Like Dick De Benedictis makes some eeehhhh decisions in his first few scores for the series, but he improves and also still delivers decent scores. Segáll with only a few small exceptions is BAD. Not every bit of music you write can be perfect, but that man is so actively bad at film scoring it baffles me how anybody on a show like this, biig show, big budgets - how could they not want to can him? Really awful. But there's only one more BS episode left. I'll be okay.

hello there red! your blorbo posting has successfully gotten me interested in columbo, so congrats. Only problem now is I'm finding it a real struggle to find episodes. Do you know a good place to stream or download the show, or do you just catch it on tv? Thank youuuu

Yes! It's available multiple places but the best place I've found to watch it is the free app Tubi on either computer or smart TVs. You don't even need to sign up but it has the whole series, subtitles (v important to me), and ads that are reasonably placed and short.

I also made this list a few days ago of my fav episodes with bolded episodes I think being good ones to start with but! I started my journey by reading the descriptions and saying 'well that sounds neat'. I chose my very first episode A Stitch in Crime bc it took place in a hospital and had Leonard Nimoy in it. There's also plenty of sites ranking episodes, I prefer the Columbophile blog. Hope that helps!
