Imagine the morning after sleeping with Lexa
Sleep never stayed too long for Lexa. Being the Heda to the Kongeda meant there was rarely a chance for a good night's sleep. There was always something she had to do - whether it be meeting with the clans' ambassadors or trying to resolve an issue - she was always kept busy. She didn't sleep until the late hours of the night and woke up as soon as the sun peeked over the horizon. A heavy burden she had to shoulder as Heda but as she watched the daybreak's light bathe you in its warm glow, maybe it wasn't so bad to be up so early.
You were oblivious to the world around you as you slept, so at peace as you laid by her side. Despite all the dangers the world had - the Mountain Men, Azgeda, Skaikru, you felt at ease enough to sleep deeply, trusting in Lexa and believing that she could keep you safe. Even after she had shared her past with you - about Costia and how Lexa could do nothing to save her when Queen Nia kidnapped her - you trusted her.
Lexa turns to rest on her side so she could take you in. Staring at your face, she tries burning each one of your features into her mind. The way your hair was splayed over the furs with a few strands falling over your face. Eyes trailed down the slope of your nose and across the expanse of your cheeks until they reached the bridge of your lips. The lips she had spent the entire night caressing, trying to convey how much she felt for you with each kiss she bestowed.
"Ai hod yu in," She whispered. I love you. The words that she used to be so scared of speaking into the world, fearing that someone would overhear them and use them against her.
But you deserved to hear them. You, who helped change her views on love. You, who tore down the walls around her heart that she had built to protect herself. You, who she couldn't imagine being without. When you woke up, she would say them again. She could already see it. The grin that would appear on your face as you brightened at the revelation of her feelings. How you would pull her into a hug and kiss her as if it would the only thing you would be able to do. "Ai hod yu in, [Name]."

Pt.2 pt.3
Tumblr media
You lay upside down on your bed looking up through the skylight in your cell drumming lightly on your stomach. You jump a little hearing your cell door open but don’t move from your position.
“If it’s not Wick then I don’t want to talk.” You say blandly expecting the guards to be bringing your father into the room.
“Prisoner 224 please stand.” You flip over so you are sitting upright, crossing your legs.
“Why what’s going on?” Jason stood in the doorway, he was a guard you knew all too well. Jason was the main guard that arrested you.
“Kane you need to get up, I’m not going to ask you again.”
You sit back on your bed and cross your arms
“Then you’re gonna have to make me because I’m not going anywhere.” He sighs a little and gets out some kind of metal cuff while looking back at the other guards who put their hands on their weapons. They were smart to send more than one guard, you were notorious for putting up fights. Jason walks forward and reaches for you. You waste no time uncrossing your legs and kicking him straight in the balls. He hunches over groaning. The other two guards reach for you, you fight back one but the other gets you with his taser stick making you seize.
Jason stands and puts the cuff on you before you have a chance to recover. He and One of the other guards grab your arms and drag you out.
It took a second for you to recover but once you had control over your limbs again you immediately start kicking and thrashing against them. You had no clue where they were taking you but you knew it couldn’t be good, guards don’t just show up to your cell randomly.
“Where are you taking me! Let me go!” You scream trying to rip your arms from them but they only tightened their grip.
You saw your dad, he could give you answers. You have a rough relationship with him but you’re hoping he will help you.
“DAD!! Dad, please help me. what’s going on!?” You could see the pain and regret in his eyes as the guards struggled to get you to walk.
“Sedate her Abby.” Your heart dropped at his words.
“Marcus are you sure?”
“I said sedate her.” She nods and Jason gives her access to your arm.
“No no no please Abby please just tell me what’s going on” you cried.
“Sh it’s okay Y/N, you’re going to earth.” She sticks you with the needle and immediately you start to feel drowsy. Kane steps forward.
“Give her to me, I'll carry her to the dropship.” Kane picks you up bridal style and begins walking. “I’m sorry it had to be this was Y/N. I hope you know that I will always love you.” You try to speak but you could barely keep your eyes open, it wasn’t long till you were knocked out cold.
You jump awake trying to stand but you were strapped to a seat, looking around and see that you are in a drop-ship surrounded by the delinquents you’ve become friends with within the time you’ve been a prisoner.
“Monty, Jasper what’s going on?” Monty looks at you with a bright smile.
“Well, would you look at that, sleeping beauty is finally awake. We’re on a dropship going to Earth. Did no one tell you?” You scoff.
“Yeah after I got tased, yanked out of my cell, and drugged.” Monty and Jasper look at each other before laughing.
“Yeah you’re missing a key detail, the entire Ark probably heard the fight you put up.” You did a little bow in your seat.
“What can I say I needed to go out in true Y/N fashion.” Monty goes to say something but the ship suddenly jolts and alarms start to go off.
“What’s going on?!” You try to speak over the other delinquents and the blaring alarms.
“I think we just entered the atmosphere!” Monty yells back. It doesn’t take long for the ship to hit the ground. You look around and everyone freezes. “Listen, there’s no machine hun.”
“Woah, that’s a first,” Jasper half chuckles.
“I don’t think that’s a good thing Jasp,” You say hesitantly. Everyone starts to unbuckle themselves and go towards the door of the dropship.
“No. We can’t just open the doors” You look up hearing a familiar voice. Clarke. You didn’t know her very well but you knew her father Jake Griffin. Back on the ark, you saw him a lot while you were training under Sinclair to become an engineer, that’s also where you met your best friend Kyle Wick and where you were first introduced to Monty. You shook your head pushing Wick out of your thoughts. Not the time to think about him y/n.
“Hey, just back it up, guys.” Your head turns to another voice, one you didn’t recognize.
“Stop. The air could be toxic.” You roll your eyes a little.
“If the air is toxic, we’re all dead, anyway.” You step forward so you were in the view of both of them.
“He has a point, no reason for us to be locked in this metal coffin. I’d rather die out there than in here.” He smirks a little and Clarke shakes her head.
“Bellamy?” You had heard that voice before. Octavia Blake. You didn’t know her well, you had talked to her a few times in lockup.
“My God, look how big you are.” You step back a little not wanting to ruin the moment and look at Monty.
“Do you think we can get this backup and running?” He furs his brows.
“It’s not gonna be easy, I highly doubt they left us with the tools we’re gonna need.” You sigh before your head whips over to see the ship door opening and Octavia walking out. She takes in a deep breath stepping into the grass before raising her arms in the air.
“We’re back, bitches!” You laugh and run out with everyone, stopping as soon as your feet hit the ground. You look around in awe, bending down and running your fingertips over the grass. You stand back up and look at the dropship.
“Okay let’s see what’s going on with you.” You wipe your hands on your pants before climbing up the side of the ship. You look around the roof seeing missing panels and fried wires. “Well son of a bitch”
“Communication to the arch is impossible.” You jump a little almost falling but a hand catches your elbow.
“Maybe don’t sneak up on people when they are standing on a roof.” You look over at Finn who had caught your arm and then over to Wells who had been the one that scared you. You knew Finn, the infamous Spacewalker. Wells you also knew and he drove you absolutely insane. You sigh and rub your face.
“Thanks, Finn.” You look over at Wells “Gee great observation,” Wells puts his hands up in defense before going back down the side of the ship. You turn and look at Finn. “What do you think they’re gonna tell them?” He looks up at the sky and sighs.
“I have no clue. If we can’t talk to them maybe they’ll tell them we got some crazy virus and died.” You rub your face.
“We didn’t even get to say bye.” You took a deep breath and look around. “At least it’s beautiful here.” He nods and gives your arm a gentle reassuring squeeze.
“It’ll all work out one way or another.” You hun and look down at your wrists
“This thing is fucking uncomfortable.”  Finn reaches over and grabs a small metal bar that got knocked off in the landing.
“Let’s try and get them off then.”
“If you stab me I will push you off this drop-ship” you tease.
“Oh ye have little faith.” You snort and playfully push his face. Finn takes the metal trying to get the bracelet off but ends up scratching the cuff.
“Here let me try” he hands you the metal and you end up doing the same amount of damage Finn did.
“What are you gonna do now, Wells?” You look over to the side of the ship and then back at Finn with a raised eyebrow.
“Come on. Come on.” Finn rolls his eyes at Murphy’s Taunting.
“Can’t they just leave the dude alone?” You snort.
“He deserves it if you ask me.” Finn gives you a pointed look and rolls his eyes. Finn goes forward jumping down from the roof in between Murphy and Wells.
“Kid’s got one leg. How about you wait until it’s a fair fight?” Murphy rolls his eyes.
“Yeah whatever” Octavia walks up to Finn with a flirty smile.
“Hey Spacewalker, rescue me next” you clap your hands over your mouth to stop you from laughing. You take a moment to stretch before jumping down.
“We’re you trying to take this off?” You look over at Finn and Clarke.
“I tried taking it off of him, they make my arm sweaty.”
“This wristband transmits your vital signs to The Ark. Take it off, and they’ll think you’re dead.”
“and why Should we care?” You say crossing your arms over your chest.
“Well, I don’t know. Do you want the people you love to think you’re dead? Do you want them to follow you down here in two months? Because they won’t if they think we’re dying.”
“All the more reason to get these bracelets off. Let Kane think I’m dead because he’s already dead to me.” She shakes her head and Finn steps in.
“So when are we leaving.” Clarke turns her attention to him.
“Now.” Monty looks over at you.
“Are you coming with us Y/N?” You nod your head and stand next to Monty and Jasper. You were in for a long journey but you were on earth so it didn’t matter to you. Nothing else mattered to you.

my lover's the sunlight
Tumblr media
masterlist
I was looking through my old writing from years ago and came across this imagine I'd completely forgotten about. It's a different writing style to my normal headcanons, but I'm trying to branch out. I'm not sure if anyone still writes for the 100, but I can't bring myself to delete something which is nearly 2k long.
This is set during s1. No warnings, apart from Reader being grumpy to everyone and a complete goober for Raven (who only appears at the very end).
word count: 1911
You've been on the ground for less than an hour and already there are fights breaking out among the delinquents. You don’t join them; you goes with Wells Jaha to first bury the bodies of the two idiots who took off their seat belts, and then to find a water source. Digging in the dirt comforts you and gives you something to think about other than the hysteria that’s bubbling up inside your gut and threatening to overwhelm you.
Because while everyone else seems content to explore, you're coming to realise that your survival is up to the rest of the group. You have all been sent down as an experiment, that none of the adults seem to believe you'll really survive.
(You want to throw up.)
++
You have known John Murphy for less than a day and you already despise the other boy. Murphy’s attempts to remove a girl’s wristband by holding her face to the fire makes your head roar and suddenly you leap at him.
The pair of you roll around in the dirt, fists flying until eventually you have the advantage. With Murphy’s head in a headlock and a borrowed knife to his throat, you lean in and whisper into his ear, "if I ever catch you doing something like that again, I’ll kill you, and bury your body in the woods."
You release Murphy, who slumps to the ground and return the knife to Bellamy Blake. The gathered crowd slowly begins to move away.
"Nice moves," Blake says. "What did you say you were arrested for?"
"I didn’t," you reply brusquely, walking away.
"So what was it?" the older boy persists.
You turn and look back at him. "Wasting oxygen on an illegal spacewalk," you say simply.
Blake’s low whistle is interrupted by the return of the Mount Weather party, who are missing the kid with the goggles.
++
You volunteer for the rescue mission. You try to reassure the kid’s friend (you think his name is Monty) that they’ll find his missing friend, but you doesn’t know how successful you've been.
Soon you're wandering through the woods with the others. You overhear Murphy and Blake murmuring about wristbands and rolls his eyes at their predictability. Like hell you're taking it off; it’s letting the Ark know, your family know, that you're still alive.
Soon enough Murphy starts cajoling you about removing the wristband. You let his words fly over him as they walk.
"I’m telling you now," you turn his head to look at the boy behind him, "you’ll have to pry this band off my cold, dead body before I take it off."
"That can be arranged," Murphy starts forward, but you shove him backwards into a tree.
"Guys, come on," Wells says.
You stare at Murphy as you continue. "I mean it. You try and remove it, I’ll stick a knife in you."
You turn and quickly walk off, fast enough that the others have to jog to catch up.
++
The power struggle is resolved. Clarke Griffin assumes control – although Blake makes a compelling argument. It’s close until you speak up.
"I agree about how oppressive the Ark is, but without communication we’re completely screwed. We have no weapons, no technology and very few people with useful skills. That’s not counting the Grounders."
Somehow your words are enough to sway the majority of the group into following Clarke. She throws you a grateful look, while you nod in return.
There are still pockets of resistance, but they gradually fizzle out.
++
You quickly notice how people move away when you approach them. You talk to Wells about it one afternoon while sorting out rations.
"They’re scared of you," the other boy points out, with a grin.
"What?" The baffled expression on your face makes Wells’ smile grow.
"You don’t smile much," he explains. "Plus that knife fight with Murphy was pretty vicious."
"Oh," you say. Then, "I promise I’m not usually that violent. But there’s just something about him that–"
"–makes you want to punch him in the face," Wells finishes. "You’re not the only one who feels that way."
You chuckle before changing the subject.
(Wells is beginning to feel like a friend. You're not sure how you feel about that)
++
You eventually let Monty use your wristband to make contact with the Ark. It’s a spontaneous decision on your part, made after you saw the younger boy’s frustration at his failed attempt.
"Take mine," you offer, holding your arm out.
Now they’re sitting together, you watching as Monty carefully fiddles with the band. "Do you have family up there?" you asks.
Monty nods. "My parents. You?"
"I’ve got my parents and Raven," you swallow heavily as you think about them.
Who’s Raven? Monty asks.
"My girlfriend," you reply. "She’s amazing. Only eighteen and already a Zero-G." A smile creeps onto your face as you talk about her. It's an automatic action at this point after all these years of knowing and loving that girl.
Monty whistles in awe.
"Yeah," you laugh a little. "She’s the youngest one in over fifty years. She’s going to change the world."
Monty makes a noise that resembles a laugh. "Wow," he says. "I never would’ve picked you to be this…"
"Hmm?"
"Sappy," is the reply.
"That’s Raven for you," you laugh.
"You know if you walk around with that look, no one’s going to take you seriously?" Monty teases.
"I don’t know why everyone thinks I’m scary," he muses. You really don't. You consider yourself to be fairly even tempered.
"It’s because you never smile and you’re good with knives," comes the reply.
(Even though the attempt ends up failing, you still can’t see it as a complete loss.)
++
Finn Collins shows him and Clarke a bunker in the woods one morning. You look around and groan loudly when you spot a book about origami.
"Not a fan?" Finn asks, moving to see what's caused your displeasure.
"Not really," you reply.
You remember finding a similar book in the Ark library years ago. You had suddenly being seized with the idea of making something for Raven’s birthday, which had been coming up. You remember folding the paper for hours until finally getting the right shape and how much longer it took you to make the same thing with metal.
Eventually you'd finished it, and felt flushed with triumph at the bird, which had looked sleek and silver against your kitchen table.
Raven had nearly cried when you gave it to her. She’d put it over her head before kissing you passionately. Your heart had stuttered every time you saw her fiddle with her new necklace.
"I admire people who can do it," you say. "But honestly my hands haven’t really been able to do anything like it. I don’t have enough patience."
(That said, all the frustration and sore fingers had been worth it for the look on your girlfriend’s face.)
++
As the days go by, the delinquents gradually succeed in making a society of sorts. You throw yourself into work, whether it’s building, hunting or healing (you'd approached Clarke and offered to assist her with medical matters.
"It’s dangerous to only have one doctor," you'd said, "and even if you still do the more advanced stuff, at least I can help with bandages and minor injuries. You won't be overstretched."
"You’d do that?" Clarke had replied, a hint of gratitude seeping through her voice.
You later realised that was the moment Clarke became a friend.)
But all your attempts to distract yourself are useless once night falls. Lying in your tent, your thoughts always drift up to the sky, to the Ark.
You compose letters in your head, letters you'd send your family if there was any way of contacting them.
Dear Dad, I’ve never seen this much green before in my life and I miss you.
Dear Mom, today I caught three rabbits while hunting and I miss you.
Dear Raven, I’m helping Monty construct a door that mechanically opens and closes the gate and I miss you.
Dear Dad, I know you always said to use your words, but I swear to god I’m going to punch John Murphy in the face one day.
Dear Mom, there are so many flowers down here, you’d love it.
Dear Raven, I’ve seen so many birds and I can’t wait to show you.
Dear Raven, every time I try to go to sleep, all I can see is you.
Raven, I love you and I miss you.
Raven, Raven, Raven.
You know you're not the only one missing their families. You've heard enough people talking and crying about theirs – you tends to avoid those people. A combination of faith and living to spite the Council who sent you down to Earth keeps you going most days.
++
A shooting star appears in the sky when you're on watch one night. It burns bright across the dark sky and you suddenly remember your Mom’s bedtime stories of wishes made on stars and how they promise to come true.
"That’s not a shooting star, it’s from the Ark!" someone cries out.
"Maybe they’re sending more people?"
(You hope so.)
++
You head out with Clarke early the next morning to find the pod. You eventually come to a clearing where the pod landed, only to find it open and the occupant already outside. Your heart stops as you see one of the people you've missed the most since coming to the ground.
"Raven?" your voice is barely a whisper. If this is a mirage, it's a cruel one.
Your girlfriend turns her head and the glee on her face (at finally landing on Earth, no doubt) deepens as she sees you. "Y/N!"
You abandon all composure as you run to her. She's just as quick and both your bodies collide hard.
"Oh my god, oh my god, it’s you," you babble as you hug her tightly.
"I’ve missed you so much," she whispers into your ear, sounding just as manic.
You turn your head to chase her lips and the kiss that follows is one of the sweetest you've shared. Hands move over clothes and skin as they trace familiar paths.
"But how…?" you ask after a minute, leaning your head back. Your hands stay tangled in her shirt and hair, mirroring hers which clutch your jacket in a white knuckled grip. Neither of you are willing to let go of each other just yet.
"Abby Griffin," she says proudly. "She helped me get the parts to get this baby working."
"How old is that thing?" You ask, twisting your head around to look at the pod before returning back to her.
"Eh, only 97 years old," Raven shrugs nonchalantly, but you can see her pride fighting to the surface.
"Only 97 – you could’ve died Raven! You could’ve been injured! The ship could’ve blown up on impact!"
"But it didn’t," your wonderful, brilliant, crazy girlfriend counters. "I’d do worse for you and I know you’d do the same for me."
"Yes I would, but that's not the point–"
(The rest of your protests are interrupted by Raven kissing you again and the sound of Clarke’s laughter in the background. Raven already knew you would act like that; Clarke didn’t and finds it hilarious to reconcile this new information about Y/N L/N with the picture she already has of you.)

I was just writing whatever came to mind and this is what came from it. I’m not sure if it’s any good and I don’t know if I should keep going and actually write it for a specific person or not haha.
I am trying to get into writing again so start requesting some stuff :)
“How could you think that was okay?”
“It’s not like I meant to kiss them, I was drunk and I didn’t know what I was doing.”
“That’s honestly the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard. I’ve been drunk plenty of times and I have not once cheated on you.”
“I’m sorry Y/N, what do you want me to say? I can’t take it back. All I can do is make up for it.”
“What the fuck makes you think I would want to stay with you after you’ve betrayed my trust?”
You try to not let the tears fall. You try your hardest to stay strong and not show him how much this is killing you. But you let a tear slip down your cheek.
He went to wipe it off your cheek but you flinched back out of his reach.
“Don’t do this Y/N, you’ll regret this. You’ll come crawling back to me in no time.”
“Are you serious right now?” You shake with anger.
“I’m just saying. Please let me make it up to you. Let’s just forget it happened.”
“You broke my heart. I don’t think I could ever forgive you or forget that it happened. The thought of your lips.. on someone else’s” you say while choking up.
“Y/N come on.”
“No, get out. I can’t even look at you right now.”
“Whatever. I have to go anyway. Message me when you get out of your mood and actually want to talk.” He says while walking out of the room leaving you with your thoughts.
You sit on your bed with your legs curled up against you and sob to yourself. How could he do this. And not even care.

“Raven, can you do it?” You raised your eyebrow in surprise as you walked into the tent that your best friend Raven was in, noticing Finn.
“Of course she can,” You intervened, knowing they were talking about the bomb that needed to be placed on the bridge. You could easily guess that they intended on using gunpowder and the rocket fuel from the crashed Exodus ship to do just that.
“Y/N,” Raven said gently, with the subtle implication that you could tone it down a notch. “I can do it.”
The next thing you know, you and Raven teamed up to go extract the fuel. You knew how dangerous and risky it was, but you didn’t care. You hated watching how Finn treated Raven, and you hated even more watching Raven cry to you as she had to watch the man she fell in love with, slowly fall for someone else. As you both briskly walked towards the crashed ship, Raven looked over at you with sad eyes, looking down slightly as she started to speak.
“You know, he didn’t even hesitate when Clarke fell, it wasn’t even a split second, he just went.” She spoke, voice slightly trembling.
“Raven, you don’t deserve this. I know everything that he did for you on the ship, how much you love him, but I hate seeing you so hurt and torn up over him. You deserve someone who won’t lie to you, who only thinks about you, who will treat you way better than he can,” You replied gently, hoping what you said wouldn’t hurt her even more.
“I know, Y/N...” Raven trailed off, “He’s the one I want though.” You could tell from her face as she said that, that her belief of that was slowly fading away by the day.
You left the conversation at that, as you both arrived at the crashed ship. Raven asked you to stay back as she extracted the rocket fuel. She had her space suit on in the process, and you watched as she carefully filled the container she brought for the fuel. You’ve known Raven just about as long as she’s known Finn. Hell, you even knew about the spacewalk because you helped Finn coordinate it for her. You knew the Finn who was up on the Ark, and the Finn that’s down here now, falling in love with Clarke... you feel like you barely know him now.
You’ve had a crush on Raven for longer than they’ve been dating, but you couldn’t ever let her know because you knew she liked Finn. Despite that, you truly felt like she was spending all her time in the wrong situation now, and a part of you wished she would realize your feelings for her. You know you could treat her better than he can. You absolutely hated all the wasted crying when you should have asked her to be with you instead at the very beginning, before Finn got the chance to swoop in just to break her heart.
“I got it!” Raven exclaimed, snapping you out of your thoughts.
“I knew you would,” You smiled. “Let’s get back, we need to make that bomb and get it on the bridge fast if we want any chance at surviving.”
You got back to camp and Raven instantly went to work, and you helped out where you could to get it done in record time. From there, Raven explained how it would work to activate it to you, Finn, and Bellamy. It did use the rest of the gunpowder, but it was a hail mary effort so there would be more fighters.
“So, which one of you is planting the bomb?” Bellamy asked. You watched as both Raven and Finn hesitated, so you immediately stepped up.
“I will,” You said confidently.
“Y/N, I got it,” Finn replied, looking a bit nervous as he said it.
What’s he even trying to do, save face with Raven by looking brave? You rolled your eyes at his comment. Before you could say anything back, you noticed Bellamy’s nose start to bleed.
“Bellamy, don’t touch anything,” You said, backing up slightly as he noticed the nosebleed. You still weren’t sure if you were immune or not since you haven’t been around anyone exposed.
“Be ready to go in 10 minutes, I’ll get you a shooter,” Bellamy said, quickly leaving.
Finn left right behind him, not even saying a word to Raven.  She sighed, looking down sadly again as she started to get everything packed up.
“I could treat you better than that,” You muttered under your breath, absolutely irritated that Finn would leave without saying a word. You didn’t even realize you had said it out loud.
“What did you say?” Raven asked, looking confused.
“Nothing, just talking out loud,” You tried to play it off, unbeknownst to you that Raven had heard exactly what you said. “I’m gonna go check to see if Bellamy got a shooter, I’ll be right back.”
You left the tent quickly, embarrassed that you had even said that out loud, and even more embarrassed that Raven might have heard. You walked around camp, spotting Finn carrying off Bellamy to the dropship after what looked like a conversation with Jasper. You walked up to Jasper, confirming he was the only shooter not sick and that he was going with you to plant the bomb and detonate it. You didn’t even bother to wait for Finn as you went back to the tent with Jasper to grab the bomb from Raven. However, when you got back, the bomb and Raven were nowhere to be seen.
“Damn it!” You shouted, looking at Jasper. “Let’s go, she took the damn bomb herself.”
You ran after her, Jasper following behind at a slightly slower pace as you searched for Raven. You couldn’t slow your pace as you ran to the bridge, worried about Raven and hoping she was alright. You finally got to some cover right by the bridge, giving Jasper a minute to catch up to you. You could vaguely see Raven putting the bomb together, however, something seemed off to you. That feeling was confirmed the moment she collapsed right after putting the lid on the aluminum can.
“Jasper, stay here. When I tell you to shoot, blow it up,” You yelled, already running towards Raven to grab her.
You could hear the war drums off in the distance, getting closer and closer as you got down onto the bridge where Raven was. You saw the blood as you picked her up without hesitating, slinging her arm around your right shoulder and grabbing the gun she brought with her around your left.
“Raven, you’re okay, we need to get to cover,” You spoke, wrapping your arm around her waist and going as fast as you could to the rocks off to the side.
“You didn’t hesitate,” She whispered, gripping onto you and using all the strength that she had in her to help you get safely to cover. “You could get sick, and you didn’t hesitate.”
“You didn’t have to do this alone, I promised I wouldn’t let you down,” You spoke, setting her down with you behind the rocks. “Jasper, blow it!” You yelled, grabbing onto Raven as an attempt to shield her sick body.
You heard the first two shots of his gun go off, but you knew they didn’t hit when there was no explosion. Shit.
“Raven, stay down,” You said, moving to the side and standing up, resting the gun against the top of the rock to try and get a shot.
You heard one more shot go off, and it was still a miss. You lined up the shot, taking a deep breath, shooting, and ducking back down the second you heard your gun fire. The next second felt surreal as the ground shook slightly, the massive explosion causing a ringing in your ears as you held Raven in your arms. It worked! Jasper and now Monty slid down to where you and Raven were, helping you carry her back to camp as quick as possible.
You were all cheered on as you arrived back inside the walls, Finn coming over to take Raven and pick her up to bring her inside. You sighed as you sat down for a minute, taking in everything that had just happened. The bridge was only going to be a distraction, but all you cared about right now was Raven getting better. You gave Finn five minutes before heading into the dropship to check on her and make sure she was okay. As you started to walk in, you heard Raven talking to Finn.
“You hesitated,” You heard her say.
“What?” Finn asked, confused.
“When Bellamy asked who was gonna take it, you hesitated.” Raven paused.
“It’s what people do when they’re considering something that might blow them up, right?” Finn remarked.
“Y/N didn’t. You didn’t hesitate when Clarke was falling. You knew she had the virus and you caught her anyway.” Raven answered matter of fact, hurt in her voice.
“Raven-“ Finn was cut off.
“You didn’t hesitate.” She stated again.
“Raven, I love you,” Finn spoke.
“Not the way that I want to be loved.” You decided to walk in after that, watching as Raven told Finn it was over. You saw her give her raven necklace back as she looked at you, and then Finn walked out.
“You saved my life,” Raven spoke, a small smile on her face. “You never hesitated with me.”
“I’d stop time for you Raven,” You replied, gently grabbing her hand. “I’m sorry about Finn.”
“Don’t be,” She replied, squeezing your hand gently. “Someone will treat me better than he ever could. It hurts now, but I didn’t deserve what he was putting me through.”
“No you didn’t,” You agreed. “You know I’ll always be here for you.”
“I know, you’ve proved it to me time and time again.” Raven paused, silence taking over both of you for a couple moments. “I should’ve chosen you,” She then said out of what felt like nowhere.
“What?” You asked, stunned.
“Y/N I know you’ve liked me, what I’m trying to say is I like you too. I heard you in the tent, saying you would’ve treated me better, and it really made me think about the choices and decisions I’ve made.” Raven answered, lacing her fingers with yours gently.
“You’re so special to me Raven, I don’t ever want to see you hurt again.” You spoke gently, giving her hand a little squeeze. “I need you to get better so we can talk more about this when you’re feeling one hundred percent. Please get some rest.”
Raven nodded, slowly drifting off to sleep. You stayed awake, not leaving her side the entire time she rested, getting her fluids and helping her up as needed. After another day, she was finally feeling better and able to leave the dropship. You both had a small amount of downtime, so you laid down in her tent together, Raven resting her head on your chest. You knew she was still deeply hurt by Finn’s actions, but her attitude seemed different around you now. She was relaxed, and genuinely smiling while you two talked.
“Y/N, I want to know what it’s like to be treated better, I want to love someone as deeply as they love me, and I want to be genuinely happy. I want to be with you,” Raven confessed, looking up into your eyes. You leaned down and kissed her forehead gently.
“I want to be with you too,” Raven smiled at that. “Let’s take it slow,” You followed up with.
“Slow works for me, but there’s one thing I want to do,” Raven said, reaching up to gently put her lips onto yours.
Her lips felt so soft, and you found yourself melting into the kiss. Her hand cupped your cheek as she deepened the kiss, and you could feel the passion from her. She pulled away a moment later, nuzzling her head back into your chest and holding your hand as she sighed a breath of relief. You didn’t know where this relationship was going to take the both of you, but you knew you would never do her dirty the way Finn did. You knew you were going to protect her with everything in you. The two of you dozed off for a quick nap, content with the way everything ended up playing out.

favorite thing ab chatgpt is that if it doesn’t know something it’ll just start fucking lying. like blatantly fucking lying.
my dad teaches english classes and he just got a final paper with this sentence: “In terms of style, both poets are known for their use of imagery, but O'Hara's tends to be more straightforward and concrete, while Stevens' is often more abstract and metaphorical — for example, in O'Hara's poem "The French / Window," he writes: "A cat walks along the garden wall / and the tree waves its branches / The French / windows are blah" (lines 1-4).”
the thing about “The French / Window” is that it is not a poem that exists. at all. like, it was literally just written by chatgpt then inexplicably named as a famous frank o’hara poem. and it’s so. fucking. funny. sooo basically heads up for finals season — those of you who use chatgpt, be warned, because you will quite literally be citing nonexistent texts and your professors will show it to their daughters and together they will laugh at you endlessly and you will deserve it

Tfw you realize you’re so predictable a winning bingo card was made about you in less than an hour and there was never a way for you to win the game because you ARE the game
Where’s that post where someone was saying Brennan was probably stressed out during the entirety of his scene in “Pencil’s Down” because he was ready for it to be an elaborate scheme targeting him specifically? Because I’m pretty sure that’s the same shirt he was wearing so there’s a non-zero chance those were filmed on the same day, which is why Brennan was probably already on-set/available on such short notice. And since the set is still intact, that means this was filmed immediately before his Pencils Down scene and it is absolutely reasonable to assume he was waiting for it to be another elaborate setup.

one of my favorite things about gideon is the characterization of "born 2 be jock 😎🔥💪 forced 2 be goth 😔☠️🦴" like quite literally one of the funniest character choices i've seen an author make and pull off

The 100 ep.3 pt2
You opened your eyes for the first time in what feels like forever. Your mind was groggy but the first thing you notice is a low light surrounding you. A small groan leaves your lips as you try to shift in your spot, your spine screaming at you to move.
“Woah Woah Woah hey slow down tiger” even if you couldn’t recognize the voice, the nickname was a dead giveaway.
“Finn?” You ask, voice hoarse from screaming. A hand goes to your hair, gently brushing it back.
“Yeah, it’s me. You had me worried there for a while.” He lets out a sad chuckle.
“I’m sorry.” You say grabbing his other hand.
“Hey it’s okay, it’s not like you wanted to get speared.” You both chuckle but yours is followed by another groan.
“You need to rest y/n” you sigh.
“I know, but I really just want some water and to sit up.” Finn looks at you wearily.
“I’ll get you some water but before you sit up I’m gonna need to talk to good ol’ doctor Clarke…she saved your life y/n like literally saved you I don't know what we would have done without her.” With that Finn gets up and leaves and you're left with your thoughts. You had never imagined Clarke would save your life, you always thought she resented you for having such a close relationship with her dad. Before you could fixate on it any longer Finn and Clarke walk into the dropship. Clarke is the first to speak.
“Hey, I'm so glad you are awake.” You give her a soft smile.
“Thank you so saving me Clarke.” Surprisingly she grabs your hand and gives it a squeeze.
“Anytime Y/n.” You return the squeeze.
“So doc, any chance I can sit up?” Clarke bites the inside of her cheek contemplating.
“Let me take a look at your wound first okay?” You nod and Clarke lifts your shirt. Her face reads shock. “Finn look.” He leans forward face matching Clarkes.
“What? Is it bad?” Panic starts to well in your chest. She shakes her head.
“No, the opposite actually, it's healing really well. I think you can sit up.” You let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank god my back is killing me.” They both chuckle as Finn and Clarke grab each one of your arms slowly sitting you up. You grunt a little from the soreness in your body but eventually let out a sigh. “This is nice.” You say laying your head on Finn's shoulder. Everyone is quiet for a few minutes. You are the first to speak. “I really miss Wick.” Finn and Clarke share a sad glance.
“I know, but if Monty can get those bracelets working then He’ll be down here in no time.” You nod.
“How is that going anyways?” Clarke rubs her face.
“Not well if I'm going to be honest.” You frown.
“Well if anyone can-” There's a knock at the door, you look up and see Bellamy standing in the doorway awkwardly.
“Hey heard you were awake.” Clarke and Finn look at each other before nodding and standing up.
“We’ll just give you two some privacy.” You look at them confused before you realize. Bellamy had visited you while you were unconscious and you had heard every word he said. Bellamy takes a seat next to you playing with his fingertips. You reach out and grab his hand.
“I heard everything ya know…felt everything.” Bellamy's cheeks heat up and he keeps his head down.
“You know out there, I can be anything. This strong leader that everyone needs right now but...when I saw you laying there almost dead I didn't think I could be. The moment I laid eyes on you I just knew something was different about you. I know your Kanes daughter but you don't carry yourself like the other privileged do.”
“Because I'm not. I worked hard for everything I got. My dad didn't hand me a damn thing. I fought my way into the mechanic's program to work next to Jake Griffin and Sinclair. “
“I admire that about you.”
“Why do you care so much about me Bellamy you barely even know me…I'm sorry that was rude. I don't mind I mean you are really attractive and have a good head on your shoulders, you clearly know how to survive. But why me?” You ramble on. Bellamy smiles looking at you.
“You think I'm attractive?” You reach out and push his shoulder.
“Yeah yeah don't let it go to your head.” He laces your fingers together.
“I want us to survive…together.” This time your cheeks heat us and you look down.
“Bellamy…”
“We can start slow, as teammates. As friends.” You smile and give his hand a squeeze
“Friends.”
The Ark
Wick was pacing in the hall outside the astronaut wing. There was something wrong and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. He hadnt heard from Y/n in over a week and no one was allowed to go to the prison. Finally, the door opens, and out walks Raven.
“Wick?” Raven looks surprised to see him they haven't really talked since Y/n was captured. You were the glue to the friendship of the four.
“Something is wrong.” Raven immediately knew what he was talking about but didn't know if she should tell WIck that everyone was sent to the ground including his best friend. So she decided to play dumb.
“What do you mean?” He sighs rubbing his face.
“Somethings going on they won't let me visit Y/n and there's talk that a ship was launched.”
Shit. Raven thought. She grabs his hand.
“Come on we can't talk here.” She pulls him to a secluded part of the wing.
“They were sent to earth. Y/n included to see if it's survivable but-”
“What?!” All forms of panic set in.
“But! Abby Griffin is going to send me there so we can get them in contact with the ark so we all can come down.”
“I'm coming with.” Raven shakes her head. “No, you need to stay here.” “Raven she is all I have. My everything is on earth and I need to be down there with her.” ravens heart breaks for Wick.
“Fine but we need to move fast.”

One more and then I’ll stop but like seriously imagine this hulking brute of a man preparing to mount his dragon to return home to his Kingdom after successfully pillaging another village. The loot strapped to the sides of the dragons as he stands victorious, covered head to toe in a sheen of drying blood that for the most part isn’t his.
And as he’s preparing to leave he notices something moving in the foliage out of the corner of his eye. Immediately reaching for his axe as he holds it up high, ready to strike— when he sees a small bunny rabbit struggling beneath a wicker basket. The poor animal looks injured, its paw a deep crimson that rivals his eyes and his first thought is to put it out of its misery and take it home as part of the feast.
But then he thinks of you, and the way you tremble in front of him much like the little rabbit in front of him now. Sliding his axe back into his belt as he crouches down to pick up the struggling animal, caging it in large palms as he holds it uncharacteristicly gently to his chest. Walking back to his dragon as his men call out to him.
“That’s barely a snack for a dragon, King.” Sero calls out, grinning from ear to ear as Bakugou shoots him a glare.
“Do you want me to put it with the rest of the food?” Kirishima offers as he reaches out to take the bunny by the ears.
“No,” Bakugou mutters gruffly, opening a sachel at the side of his beast as he places the rabbit gently inside. His men raise their brows but know better than to say anything as they take off, returning back home before nightfall.
The Kingdom is in celebration as the team return, gathering the spoils as a feast is prepared for tonight. And Bakugou decides to clean himself up before seeking you out, worried that if he found you covered in the blood of his enemies you’d never talk to him again. It was much like he looked the first time he found you; and he’ll remember that terrified look for the rest of his days.
Changing into fresh cloth and furs as he makes his way towards your room, and even though he’s trying to be respectful he still doesn’t knock. Stepping inside to see you curled up by a fire with a book that you quickly put down when you notice him, the tension in your body doesn’t go unnoticed by Bakugou who tries to be less intimidating. A difficult feat for a man who’s waged wars on nations, and spilt more blood than the rivers that flow outside the Kingdom.
He’s silent as he crouches, setting his sachel down in front of him as he opens it. Rough hands reach in to take out the quivering bunny rabbit, which you stare at with wide eyes.
“It reminded me of you.” He rasps, holding the animal out to you as you crawl over to him from your position in front of the fire. Gentle hands taking the rabbit from him as you hold him against your chest, soft fingers stroking at its fur.
“You’re not going to cook him after, are you?”
And Bakugou can’t help but smile at your question, it’s the first time you’ve seen him do so and it softens the strong frown lines against his face. His eyes rounder, fierce gaze less intense as he moves to sit on the floor beside you with thick thighs outstretched.
“He looked like he needed someone to look after him.”
