Let’s talk nutrition and Macros. Macros are the names given to the 4 nutrients we consume the most of. They are protein, carbs, fats and alcohol. They all have specific roles which play in the body. Having the right balance is essential when it comes to having a healthy working body. Protein and Carbs contains 4 calories per every 1 gram, whilst Fats contain 9 calories per 1 gram and Alcohol contains 7 calories per gram. Each macro has many different functions for the body from building and repairing muscles tissue, or being used for energy or helping to control hormones.
