I didn’t get any photos, but Kepler joined me at the local science centre to watch the partial solar eclipse! He was a very good boy and even let a few little kids (and some adults) pet him.

We haven’t been doing many outside adventures lately, so I’m glad he was so well behaved. His last walk beyond the backyard was to join us for a fire and smokies. Maybe we’ll get a few more good walks in before winter?

learning a second language is a bizarre experience because i’m so worried about saying something even slightly incorrectly if i do get the opportunity to actually speak it, especially with a native speaker. even though i would never in a million years judge someone for not having perfect english and i logically know that nobody who speaks spanish is gonna care if i word something a little weird/wrong either

my poor little dog is so sad and uncomfy lately :( he was doing so well but whatever is wrong with him is back and now he’s MISERABLE

Ohhhhhh my goddddddddd so I’ve basically been to the doctor three times since turning 18 and aging out of the pediatrician because of my horrible doctor fears and issues. So it’s a MOMENTOUS occasion and the culmination of years of glacial self-work that I felt ready FINALLY READY to sit down and make a doctors appointment for a routine visit!! Like that is give or take a decade in the making…….and all the ethereal alchemical elements were correct so I could finally do it this morning. But the clinic is closed and you can only do it weekdays ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ ok guess I am going to the doctor in 10 years probably. See you 2034

I haven’t felt great the last couple days and yesterday I had a horrible sore throat all day that developed into fever and congestion and body aches and ya know what I had last time I had these exact same symptoms over this exact time frame……….

wow I love my little weights class!! everyone is so friendly and nice and they all joke around with each other the whole time. I still feel some worry about exercising hard in pregnancy (like is he ok in there???) but all the research/guidance seems to indicate it’s totally fine and only positive. I def would’ve been too nervous to go hard in the first trimester but now it does feel like he’s a little more firmly planted yknow.

#I think I’ve decided to just not worry about my weight #I’m up AGAIN today (+12 lbs in 14 weeks) but like literally what else could I do #I’m working out a bunch and eating healthy meals #I could probably cut out the flavored greek yogurt cups since they have added sugar #and I have been periodically giving myself little treats like a fancy coffeeshop drink or a cookie once a week #but like also I don’t want to live a life where I deny myself periodic little treats so #🤷‍♀️ #I keep telling myself it’s all my extra blood sloshing around in there lol #12 lbs of extra blood #weight mention #pregnancy tag #also I kinda bummed myself out thinking oh I’ll never be able #to do a workout class again once he’s here bc nobody #to take the baby #but then I was like wait daycare is open 6am to 6pm #so I could either drop off early and go in before work #or pick up a bit later and go on my way home from work #so that’ll be fine! the real challenge will be $$ lol
