for the record, i don’t think the general ed requirement thing matters much one way or the other. both the north american and european models of education are perfectly valid and effective. although university is more expensive in the US, it still has a world-class system of higher education, and many of the world’s best universities for both STEM subjects and the humanities. none of the major challenges facing Europe or the US are downstream specifically of the model of university education, though ofc because of my own personal aesthetic and intellectual interests, i do wish the humanities were better funded.

I have that random idea in mind:
El and the party are fighting with Vecna and his monsters. El is focused on going straight to Vecna (their plan) and so, she doesn’t see one of his monsters lurking on her. Thankfully, Dustin is there, knocking it off with his new weapon: electronic bat (his own invention). El turns around surprised, sees Dustin, smiles at him, Dustin smiles at her too, and with mutual understanding, both of them go again into the chaos of their final battle.

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them
People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human
“-and then they said my cheesecake was subpar, and they didn’t even bring a dish!!!”
“The purpose of this event was that every participant brings a food item of sorts, correct?”
“Yeah!!”
“And they did not follow this rule while insulting dishes that were brought?”
“Mostly just my dish but yeah >:(“
“How illogical”
“That’s what I’m saying!!!”

I’m actually LOVING how Rick Riordan, and the other writers of the show, took his initial concept of a Percabeth rivalry fueled by that of their parents and kind of turned it on its head?
Now, instead of Annabeth being wary of Percy because he’s a son of Poseidon, he’s wary of her because she made a callous impression on him. They get off to a rocky start even before finding out who Percy’s father is, and when they finally do, Annabeth doesn’t care. Instead of them fighting because of who their parents are, they’re fighting over their own opposed worldviews.
Then, instead of them arguing over which of the gods is cooler and who was right in the story of Medusa, they realize that, just like Medusa, Annabeth is a victim of her mother and that, unlike Medusa, she is a far kinder and stronger person, unwilling to repeat the cycle of hurt. They realize that, like his father, Percy often acts without considering potential consequences and that, unlike his father, he is a far kinder and stronger person, willing to step up for someone he wronged and whom he cares about.
Instead of Percy and Annabeth’s rivalry being focused on that of their parents, it’s focused on who they are, themselves. But the path to friendship is still the same: a realization that they have each other’s backs, no matter what, because they’re not their parents after all.

Oh.....
Yeah I think I do
-Rindou
Oh...... Yeah me too. Have you ever thought about what you would like to have? I want to have two boys perhaps, like you and ran maybe, or a boy and a girl, so he can look after her. And a big house with a small library and lots of space, a nice garden and a balcony maybe for sitting outside, and lots of space for...the kids to play in. It would be nice i think, a happy thing.

Do you guys notice how when Shawn Fain, president of the United Auto Workers union, started planning a general strike, he did it by a) targeting his messaging towards unions with the ability to safely and effectively strike in large numbers, b) laid out a clear, actionable plan for those unions to follow (setting contracts to all expire at the same time, since many unions cannot strike while under contract), c) is using union contracts to set clear, actionable demands that can be met in order to gauge success and provide an end goal, and d) started organizing FOUR YEARS before the proposed strike date to give people the chance to plan accordingly, because it takes a really freaking long time to get tens of millions of people organized?
You notice how he didn't do it by slapping a message on Twitter saying 'hey nobody go to work on Monday, that'll really show 'em'?
