I think it’s hilarious to watch people get mad about Boruto being character assassination because it IS until you consider the possibility of a poly situationship. Sakura is Sasuke’s wife, and Sasuke is Naruto’s husband, and Naruto is Hinata’s husband.

And also consider that Naruto has probably put in some actual damn work since he become Hokage.

Can’t do anything about Sasuke avoiding Konoha but I’m honestly not surprised about that, he’s a bit traumatized. Is he protective of it now? Yes! And that’s NOT WEIRD. Maybe the Konoha before was corrupt, but Naruto can LITERALLY SENSE NEGATIVE INTENTIONS(WHICH EVERYONE SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN?!)

Root has been disbanded and Naruto’s pretty clearly weeded out the corruption around him! Hell, they might never have brought UP the Hyuga branch-main family argument, but it’s clearly been dealt with considering neither Hanabi or Hinata have branch family seals, nor does Boruto or Himawari, when it’s explicitly mentioned that the heir remains in the main family while their siblings get seals.

(I wouldn’t be surprised if Naruto having kids with Hinata was what caused that issue to come up, honestly. What, do YOU want to be the Hyuga elder that explains to the Fifth and Sixth Hokage, as well as all the other Kage, and the entirety of Konoha, why their Hero’s kids should have a torture-seal placed on them?)

Like come on man, this is a village that finally DOES represent Naruto and Sasuke’s goals! It makes SENSE that he’d want to protect it now!!!

Also not surprised that Sasuke is awkward about Sakura and Sarada, my boy has No Idea how to interact outside of Naruto, and frankly if he does have feelings about her, as an autistic person who can’t handle emotions, I too run away from the people I care about when I get overwhelmed about caring for them. The people that I DON’T run from are the ones who chase after me often enough that I get used to caring about them.

Furthermore, Naruto doesn’t avoid his family! If you watched Naruto The Last, or hell, the day Naruto become Hokage, you know Naruto didn’t even BECOME Hokage until his kids are older, which he MENTIONED was a choice on his part so he could spend more time with them before they entered the Academy. The movie takes place during the Chunnin Exams, which are canonically more work to maintain, especially when it’s all five villages attending. In the series, we’ve seen Naruto come home much earlier outside of big, international events, take days off to spend with his family, and use clones for work while he stays home! Like he DOES spend time with his family, kishimoto himself said Boruto’s outbursts were more about getting used to his dad having any job at all(as he was a very powerful Shinobi who honestly didn’t have a lot of missions at his skill level) after being pretty much a stay-at-home dad. Hell, in the after-credits scene in Naruto the Last, it’s implied that Hinata was still an active Shinobi, and considering the age of the kids, I would not be surprised with Naruto staying at home with the kids up until Naruto’s ascension as hokage. And I NEED more fics if this time period, I’m DYING.

Anyway, Hinata and Naruto love each other, and Naruto and Sasuke love each other. Honestly I’m a bit iffy on Sasuke and Sakura but I kinda like the idea that she’s his beard which is why she’s never shown to mind when he’s not home lol. I CAN actually see them loving each other too, though I don’t think Sakura has a lot of skill with Uchihas that run from their feelings haha. Himawari is Naruhina’s kid, while Sarada and Boruto 100% have a mom and 2 dads. And I think with this interpretation, the whole show suddenly makes sense.

i think something people forget about pink diamond is that she had compassion for life long before she went to earth

the pebbles assume steven is pink not because of his gem or aura but just because he says ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ to them, a basic common courtesy that nobody else has given them in thousands of years

in steven’s pink visions, blue is yelling at pink about the little bugs she let loose on homeworld. when one of them is found in her cell, she is quick to check it’s okay before helping it out of the room. even before encountering humans she valued organic life.

even the garden, the setting of pink’s cruellest moment, is proof of her care for organic life. Unlike every other part of homeworld, the garden is teeming with plant-life, which was kept healthy enough that it continued to grow even after pink abandoned it. the only other homeworld structure that tends to organic life is the human zoo. who’s to say the garden wasn’t another attempt by the other diamonds to placate pink after she expressed concern for the life on one of their colonies? or maybe pink picked the plants herself from the many different colonies she visited and grew them there.

pink wasn’t perfect. she had a bad habit of acting on her emotions and impulses without considering the consequences of her actions, and she hurt a lot of people because of it. but she considered all life precious and worth protecting, it just wasn’t until she had a colony of her own that she fully understood that the expansion of homeworld was intrinsically linked to the destruction of life, and the moment she realised that is the moment she stood against it.

#mine #i love my steam deck sooooooooo much im so happy i can actually play games again like a big proper library of them #and everything #everything on steam AND emulators is available to me. do you know how many games that is! #i started a new beegee3 playthrough on the HARDEST DIFFICULTY (!) today. which is also a single-save difficulty #and im in one of the most difficult parts of the game right now (level 4) and kind of nervous lol #but at the same time im really proud of myself for learning the game to the point i feel comfortable challenging myself in it #and im happy i get to at all :D i love you video games #and sooner or later ill come back to stardew valley cause there was that big update and i have some games on my wishlist too #and its not verified yet but i might play that pomeranian making the house dirty game cause it looked cute #oh and yakuza also because my friend got two of the yakuzas for me #YAYYYYY GAMES #also kind of sad though because tomorrow i pack and sunday i go back for babys last quarter of college #and im worried about how busy its going to be with classes and job apps and then of course actually graduating #and moving out and haivng a job and stuff #when all i want is to enjoy being able to play video games again.... sig #sigh* #WHATEVER...future mes problem #oh i almost forgot...one of the best parts of the deck imo is the versatility because with games like beegee3 #you can play it in controller mode which has its pros and cons but you can also swap to computer mode #which also has its pros and cons so like. i can adjust as needed #when im just exploring or trying to loot an area etc i go controller #but when im in combat i go computer because the hotbar is REALLY helpful for decision making #its really nice to have the option to choose since no console players have that it seems #and the only pc players who can do that are the ones who have and are willing to connect controllers #and most of them dont seem to be into that #but im really glad to be able to do both #ok done yapping now

Ori, Elly n Zhn rambles

CW: Buncha stuff honestly. Mentions of death/killing/poisoning idk In general this is about the edgiest thing I've written in a WHILE and I am unapologetic about it.

So like.

Zhn met Oriana when she was already really deep into the brainwashing, to the point where she'd drink poison without flinching.

The point of the poison was numbing people's emotions on the job, Ori's dose was especially big because she's very emotional and also she had to literally kill people on the fly so they couldn't afford her hesitating.

Except uh. Ori's magic handling? Bad. This is both for her using magic and people using magic on her. Especially when it came to her mind. They gave her a dose that was way too high so Oriana was very much losing herself.

Supposedly they gave antidotes to people after missions but with Oriana being the only human and frankly them not caring, it absolutely wasn't enough.

Zhn, whose doses of poison was much smaller (and frankly, too small to even have an effect on him), started giving her his dose of antidote. It wasn't enough to undo the effects but it was a start.

Being the only dragon and human, they were both outcast. Zhn convinced Ori they should watch each other's backs because of this. Ori had been told she was below everyone else and even if Zhn was "just a dragon", he was part of "everyone else". So she agreed.

Still, being treated with humanely was a nice change of pace that helped Ori regain some of her. Well. Humanity.

Elly's not very relevant in their story, but considering Ori was, according to everyone, Elly's pet. She uh. Was "let know" Zhn was socializing "too much" with Ori.

Elly was very much against Ori being referred as anyone's pet but she knew it was for her safety (Mostly because Anastasia's a freak, more on that some other time). So she started "watching over" Ori and Zhn, which resulted in her growing close to the dragon.

They weren't friends.

But compared to everyone else... their company was almost pleasant.

How did Zhn fall for Ori? How could he not?

So bright, in both personality and intellect, even while treated as a mere pet and deprived of her senses for hours on end, letting her thoughts wear on her. She gives her whole self to everything she does, even if it puts her at risk. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She covers her mouth when she laughs, she puffs one cheek when she's upset. She sings songs from another world, shrugging off their meaning, as she walks around town pretending to lead a normal life. Kind without a hint of hypocrisy, beyond the regret of the cards she's been dealt.

She stares at the stars for way too long and sometimes for only a second he can see life in those empty eyes.

How could he not want to bring life back to them? Whether he loved her or not, she deserved better than this hell.

Ori initially responding "Me too" to Zhn's "I love you" because she thought he was just joking.

He loved that about her too.

It was awkward. And almost a bit too upsetting.

Zhn went into this knowing he'd be rejected but hearing Oriana so easily dismiss her value as a person, her deserving of love, was enough to drive him to find a way to get her away from the mill.

Well.

We all know how that went.

So my game is fucked up after I tried to do everything to solve it lol I have to re install the game and hope for the best. I did some savings but sadly I forgot to save some of my lots and sims which I spend a lot doing cause they’re pretty big lots and very detail sims lol I’m honestly so damn sad but there’s nothing I can do at this point, I guess this is a life lesson for me to ALWAYS save every single lot and sim I made even if they aren’t finished 😭😭
