1. What was your Tav’s place of birth and raising like?

Never Love an Anchor by The Crane Wives says it better than I ever could

(Qualnriia Auvryduis gave birth to another baby girl. She named her Vas'llar, which roughly translates to "bloodied daughter, born third," and it was clear from an early age that something was wrong with her. She cried loudly and often, including the first time she was given the honor of being served a whole fish at dinner. She would never draw a dagger on her siblings, even if they drew one on her first. Qualniira considered killing her out of mercy, but her daughter's eyes were the exact same color as Qualniira's favorite concubine, who had been killed by Qualniira's mother just three months before Vas'llar was born. Her child came of age; they named themself Zebeystra and left the family home more or less intact. Qualniira has them for tea once a month and pretends she doesn't know where they've been. One day it will kill them both.)

4. What hobbies does your Tav have? How did they acquire these interests?

Gardening mediocrely, cooking even more mediocrely than that, cheating enthusiastically and well at cards, and frequent experimentation in sex that is charitably described as bizarre and ill-advised. They've spent most of their life living in an Eilistraeen enclave just outside of Menzoberranzan, where communal living with few external resources or means of entertainment was necessitated. #enemiesofthestate.

7. What circumstances led to your Tav becoming their Class/Subclass?

Zebeystra started worshipping Eilistraee in their 30s, at which point the Lady of the Dance blessed them with a connection to bardic magic. They primarily studied defensive and utility spells, such as illusions and techniques that would blind, disarm, or otherwise non-lethaly incapacitate an opponent, and wrote prayers and protest songs that could be distributed through the city without attracting too much attention.

Who is your favorite oc? Which one have you drawn the most?

My favorite is probably Elias, and its most likely a tie between him and Matt for the most drawn. That's mostly because Elias was originally incepted to be a character that i would enjoy doing illustrations of, so he gets a lot of attention/finished pieces. He's very mindless to draw. Matt's my oldest oc, so over the 15 years or so that ive been drawing him, hes had a lot of screentime. I've also done way more comic work with him vs. illustration, so if you count panels....its probably Matt. A bunch of Elias:

This year my new years resolution is to finish and print an oc comic, and though collateral damage is my og oc universe, I think I want to try and get a whole story fleshed out and finished with new characters, since I can keep new characters contained.
