i might get some hate for this depending on where this post goes but i think lesboys are so valid and the discourse about them is so ridiculous. like you guys shouldn't have to deal with all that and it frustrates me that people throw hissy fits over an identity that literally does not affect them at all.

"but men cant be lesbians-" wrong. butch lesbians and trans men have a really closely connected history with each other that practically intersects and you should really do some research on that before you make blanket statements, not to mention that gender and sexuality is weird and wobbly and fluid and a very personal experience. it means a different thing to each person. being a man can be something completely different and saying stuff like this ignores people like demiboys, demigirls, genderfluid and genderflux people etc. these people will really preach "demolish the gender binary!! love is love!!" until someone's relationship with gender and sexuality is a little too freaky for them to handle and be challenged by lmaoo

So I got a letter from my surgeon that basically says like I got sexual reassignment surgery for gender transition to female and I can change any legal documents to reflect this (you need SRS to change your birth certificate in North Carolina) and it made me realize how many different letters I've had to get from medical professionals during my transition. I got one from my therapist to get hormones, one from my endocrinologist to change my driver's license, one from my therapist and one from my psychiatrist to get my insurance to cover my surgery, and now one from my surgeon to change my birth certificate. That's five documents saying I'm a girl. Does that make my gender more valid than like cis women? I mean how many signed letters do they have? It's one doctor against five. I have become the most girl.

hey just a reminder because i keep seeing this garbage pile up in the lgbtq+ community: people are not inherently bad for being a man and being masc. it is not a bad thing to identify as a guy and do masculine stuff and present yourself in a masc way. the view that being a man somehow makes you bad/abusive/creepy/bigoted hurts so many men in our community (gay men, trans men, literally everyone actually) and it's just a ridiculous statement in itself. gender does not equal morality, belief or action. people are not predisposed to badness because of their gender. that is a silly idea and i thought we as a community progressed past this but apparently not.

Home-made Halloween-style impossible whopper

A few weeks ago my wife tried making something similar to those cool spicy Halloween Impossible Whoppers Burger King had during October, and the result was quite tasty so I wanted to share the ingredients! sandwich ingredients: Hawaiian hamburger buns impossible burger patties (cooked, of course) La costena nachos pickled jalapeno peppers Ruffles jalapeno ranch chips crushed up Colby jack Kraft shredded cheese sauce to put on the burger: Canned Frito mild cheddar chip dip mixed with ghost pepper sauce from Penguin Eds restaurant. (also, sorry there’s no photo, we already ate them all weeks ago! But if we make some more perhaps I can add a photo here  😋    )

Endometriosis only affects people like me. People whose bodies produce endometrium. Which is only produced when you have a womb.
