Groot is the only one who can do "Air jail" without repercussions because everyone else gets bitten and/or scratched on sight (privileges of being the favorite child)

Also i really hope Drax visits the guardians very often because i have serious doubts about Rocket's babysitting ability

Guys guys I have a theory!

Ok, so know how some have complained that Groot's adult form looks like a guy in a costume (for anyone wondering, Groot is still CGI in the movies)

and some had the theory that they (Disney) made his adult form (above) look more stocky in figure just so that they could put an actual guy in a costume for the Disney parks more easily? And I mean, it's totally possible knowing Disney, but I just had another theory-

Ok, so we know baby Groot loved to dance, (this is relevant I promise)

and we know that Drax disapproves of dancing. In fact- he even tells Peter Quill that the reason he was attracted to his wife was because she was the only one not dancing at the war rally... right before then telling Peter that he was a dancer/Gamora was not and therefore he needed to "find a woman who is pathetic like [him]." (again, relevant I promise)

AND we also know that when baby Groot would dance and Drax would look over at him he would freeze mid-move and stop dancing:

Meaning that he likely is aware of Drax's opinion on dancing and he values Drax's opinion of him/he doesn't wish Drax to think of him as pathetic- which means that he must admire Drax to some degree.

And since Groot can grow and change bits of himself at will...

it might be safe to assume that he could perhaps choose/manipulate the form he grew into as he developed into adulthood.

So- what if he admired Drax so much that he might have decided (maybe even subconsciously) to emulate him- growing his body into a similar shape as he developed so as to imitate Drax??? I mean-

Personal theories on who they might kill for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3:

They can't kill Groot. I know he's technically the first Groot's son, but it's still too similar to the first movie.

Dave Bautista already said this is his last movie in the MCU, so he's either lying or Drax is on the chopping block. That said, I've heard at least one rumor that Drax's family is alive, so it's possible he finds them in the movie and just rides off into the sunset.

Gamora's safe for the same reason as Groot.

There was one shot in the trailer that seemed to imply Rocket was dying, plus there was the voice over, but I kinda read that as a flashback? I mean, it's Marvel, we know can't trust the trailers.

I'd say they won't kill of Peter Quill, but we saw what they did to Cap and Tony, so...

I don't know about Nebula, but if they kill her off, I will riot.
