#team rocket elite trio

Note
Hi :) Your art is very cool, specially the colors
I was wondering if you could write some headcanons about Team Rocket Elite Trio, they're pretty underrated
Thanks ^^
Hello!! Thank you so much for the ask, I'll be more than glad to write something for them :> In terms of general headcanons:
Tumblr media
Ken
Ken could best be described as a responsible and caring older brother figure to everyone in Team Rocket, even though he can be aggressive and strict from time to time in order to maintain discipline and keep missions in motion.
Despite his size and looks, he's respectful, considerate and really pleasant to talk to.
Can be kind when handling others' mistakes, unless he's faced with an uncooperative individual or is under a lot of pressure (which is more often than not exerted by Lt. Surge).
Speaking of Lt. Surge, as merciless and evil as the man is, one of Ken's biggest wishes is to receive his validation for being a good member of the team (and trying his best!). That, unfortunately, rarely happens.
Alongside Al and Harry, he deems Team Rocket his family, a community he belongs in, one he should protect and support in any way possible, no matter what he has to do in order to achieve that goal.
Desperately searching for a father figure after the early loss of his own.
Jokingly started calling Giovanni "dad" when talking to Al and Harry. (It's barely a joke anymore. Also, the nickname is now used by the other two as well.)
Really likes Pokémon!
His everyday outfit consists of a flannel, cargo pants and comfortable footwear. He has a LOT of flannels.
Coffee addict.
Tumblr media
Al
Al is short. Short-tempered as well, actually. Nobody makes a big deal out of his height other than himself.
He's quick to speak his mind, and will make sure you know how irritated and disgruntled he is at the smallest of things that bother him, making him talk a lot.
On the flip side, he's honest about things he enjoys and admires about others too. If he likes what you're wearing or how you look on a particular day for example, he'll be the first to tell you and shower you with compliments and ideas on how to improve an aspect even further.
He rarely takes off his hat, and even when he does, he's simply fixing his hair before putting it back on. Very insecure about his appearance.
Rational and logical about other things and is a great problem solver, so people flock to him with questions and personal issues. He gets annoyed with it more often than not, but he'll help out regardless.
Has a bad habit of biting his nails, especially when he's been bottling up stress.
Surprisingly, he doesn't have a lot of close friends despite being social, so he sticks to Ken and Harry.
Has a thing for fashion and owns many pieces of clothing. A lot of them are hats and colorful shirts.
Likes playing cards and other luck based games.
Tumblr media
Harry
Harry is the Popular™ one, and you'll most likely find him on some kind of party when he's off duty.
Made a group chat with Ken and Al so he could spam them with memes and hourly life updates. Al replies to everything individually and has a lot to say, while Ken keeps the messages short and brief ("lmao", "so true", etc.)
A big flirt, has had a lot of romantic partners in the past, but got heartbroken every single time (that doesn't stop him from pursuing The One™ in the future).
Agile and fast, has been training a lot, enhancing his stamina, and is able to outrun most of Team Rocket.
He's hyperfixated on Hatsune Miku and likes other anime-styled media. If you ask him about it, he won't shut up for hours. Owns a lot of (stolen) merch. His favorite Miku song is "World is Mine".
Self-confident. Doesn't think before he speaks and doesn't check messages for errors before sending them, leading to some hilarious typos that Ken and Al have been quoting for years. Unironically uses ":3" and variations.
He's the least likely of the three to physically hurt you. Can throw a verbal tantrum though and cause unnecessary drama.
Seemingly irresponsible, but when he puts his mind to something, he'll see it through.
Good at keeping promises.
But gossips a lot.

2B A Pokemon Master on Pasio
@smashingveteransandnewcomers
Stories have been going around about an artificial island called Pasio, built by a man named Lear. And soon after its completion, many famous trainers and even the likes of Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champions were given invitations to the island to see what the island was like and to see what surprise was mentioned in said invitations. And some of those invitations were even handed out to the likes of our old friends Ri and Brandon, who decided to travel alongside their sweethearts Bea and Nessa respectively and even the former Rocket trio, who were now a part of the new Anti-Rocket organization lead by Brandon alongside his Pokemon Professor duties, Team Rainbow Rocket
"This looks like the place guys" Brandon said as he looked at the sights ahead
"Pasio... an artificial island... I am surprised at how lively and beautiful it is" Bea said

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet anime adaption Ash version.
After another adventure with old friends and foiling Team Rocket’s schemes yet again, the young Champion Ash Ketchum gets an invite to visit the illustrious Orange-Grape Academy in the Paldea Region. He is offered a student teaching position to speak of his experiences in Pokémon Battling as well as get offered a chance to compete in the Blueberry League and fight the local Elite Four.
After being seen off by his current traveling companions, who decide to stay in Kanto to surprise visit their little cousin Liko at Indigo Academy, Ash enrolls at Paldea, starting fresh once more with Pikachu at his side.
Team Rocket, overhearing the matter, decide to infiltrate the school disguised as the RAs of Ash’s dorm in an attempt to get Pikachu, and if possible, nab every Pokémon at the facility.
Ash’s students include Nemona, Arven, Penny, and new character Alfie, an exchange student from Galar who looks up to Ash. These two share a big brother-little brother dynamic and form a duo. Completing the trio is Iono, another student teacher and popular streamer of Paldea. She handles the school’s audio visual arts, and helps fund the school with her videos.
Ash quickly finds Champion life isn’t what it’s cracked up to be, as Iono has made it her mission to document the life of the new World Champ, and films him every waking moment no matter what he’s doing, while Nemona is a teacher’s pet, and as a fellow Champion herself, desperately wants Ash to be her rival. While Ash and Iono manage to get along after finding a compromise (as well as being forced to room together), Nemona proves to be the more annoyingly persistent one that even Team Rocket (disguised or not) has had to step in between on occasion. Nemona openly hates Team Rocket, mostly because of how they interfere in her quest to get Ash to be her rival, and her Pawmo has sent them flying off with a single punch more than once.
Ash works under Director Clavell, who in this universe is a little more eccentric and tries to be more openly “with it” to appeal to the children of the academy. He’s not particularly good at it: he seems somewhat stuck in the 90’s, but he means well and is respected, and someone Ash can go to for advice when unable to talk to his father figure Kukui. When Team Star causes trouble on the school grounds, Clavell often turns to Ash and his friends to “set them straight”. Team Rocket form a rivalry with Team Star and find them tacky and annoying. Like with Team Skull, they often clash with a trio of younger grunts that are analogous to Jessie, James and Meowth. There has at least been one clash between them that involved a weaponized Starmobile and weaponized Meowth balloon mecha.
Team Rocket is instructed to take Giovanni’s teenage nephew Lorenzo under their wing to teach him the ropes. He is functionally the Amethio equivalent, only far less rigid but not any less goal oriented. While he finds TR bizarre, he develops a begrudging respect for the trio. He has some deep rooted issues that see him exploited by the Four Disaster Pokémon. He isn’t a permanent fixture of the group and attends the Academy to learn about Paldea and its Pokémon to benefit Team Rocket while Jessie and James scheme to get Pikachu and the school’s Pokémon.
Goh and Gary meanwhile have reunited and form a research team investigating sightings of the Paradox Pokémon. A running gag is they tend to get distracted by other matters, and often miss the Paradox who is standing right behind them, wondering what they’re doing before wandering off. They host segments on Paldean Pokémon at the end of the episode and are occasionally joined by Professor Oak offering his own opinions and comedic timing to the proceedings. It’s stated on occasion Gary has worked with Friede of the Rising Voltekkars in the past on Pokémon research. Later on in the story, Ash’s group and Team Rocket start having their own experiences with the Paradox and Titan Pokemon, leading to a team up with Goh and Gary to get to the bottom of the matter. Ash’s Orthworm is actually a Titan Pokémon that has an addiction to Herba Mystica, and is a little pathetic, but with Ash’s help, it slowly quits the habit and becomes a capable battler. It had a rivalry from fellow Titan, Klawf, that Team Rocket egged on as a means to be able to control a Titan for their purposes, if temporarily.
Some of the visual glitches are used for comedic purposes, like Ash’s Fuecoco falling into a lake, or Team Rocket getting buggy eyed when a situation goes hairy. The creepy stretched out Player avatar is seen as a sculpture in Brassius’s art class as well.
The Paradox/Titan Pokémon and Arven’s plot are the first major story arc, followed up by the Teal Mask DLC and confrontation with the Four Disasters as the second major arc with the Blueberry League and a related final confrontation with Team Star closing out the series. While the Teal Mask DLC is the main focus, Indigo Disk material outside of the Blueberry League is partly dependent on what Horizons does with Terapagos and if Liko and Ash meet canonically at all.
Ash and James are a major part of Arven’s arc, the three bonding over food and shared love of dog Pokémon. (James doubly so because of Greavard and Growlie.) Greavard is also the return of the loving Pokémon that injures James archetype, accidentally draining his life force when it happily pounces on him. It once slept on top of James during the night and almost killed him. It returns life force by giving James a big sloppy lick in the face.
Partner Pokémon (* designates Evolution):
Ash: Pikachu, Fuecoco, Frigibax*, Wattrel*, Orthworm, Primeape*
Alfie: G-Slowpoke*, Quaxly, Toedscool, Eiscue, Fidough*, Chewtle*
Iono: Bellibolt, Porygon*, Toxel*, Sandy Shocks, Jolteon
Jessie: Wobuffet, Scovillain, Lechonk*
James: Tandemaus*, Poltchageist, Greavard
Lorenzo: Maschiff*, Spidops, G-Meowth, Charcadet*
Supporting Pokémon: Miraidon: A Legendary Pokémon Ash befriends. Ash, Alfie, and Arven nurse it back to health during the early Paradox plot, and it becomes loyal to Ash, sticking with him to the end of the adventure. It has a bit of a Speed Buggy type personality and speech impediment, and drives Ash around campus and later to the Kitakami Region.
Bombirdier: A new courier employed at Team Rocket taking over Delibird’s job. It’s strongly suggested it did a hostile take over of the position… Besides Delibird, it also hates Iron Bundle, mistaking it for Delibird. It has a cruel personality and enjoys dropping heavy deliveries on Team Rocket.
Scream Tail: A little weirdo who pesters both factions. Analogous to the original Jigglypuff, and first encountered by Goh’s group. Seems to have found camaraderie in Team Star.
Iron Bundle: Encountered by Goh’s team, but more properly encountered by Team Rocket. It seems to want to help out people, but also doesn’t abide nonsense, blasting people and Pokémon that anger it with its blaster bag. Seems to have found a place at the Academy’s school store. It has a personality and mannerisms similar to Bubo the robot owl from Clash of the Titans.
Tinkaton: The Bewear equivalent that harasses Team Rocket and occasionally Ash’s group. Its primary motivation is to get James’ bottle caps to bling its hammer, and appears in all manner of crazy ways to acquire them. It once led a squad of its own family of Tinkatuffs riding Cyclizars after Team Rocket during the middle of a Pikachu operation to accomplish this. Team Rocket also once made the mistake of piloting a Corviknight mecha in its presence unknowingly….
Gimmighoul: Another weirdo that took residence in Team Rocket’s dorm room and started playing havoc with their finances and that of the school’s. It takes a fancy to James’ bottle caps also, and forms a friendship with Tinkaton. Its various Gimmighoul Coins are scattered around Paldea, with Ash, Iono, Alfie, Meowth and others having found at least one in passing not knowing what it was but kept it. Gimmighoul, after experimenting with James’ bottle caps, manages to collect its G-Coins and evolve into Gholdengo. Iono affectionately nicknames Gimmighoul/Gholdengo “Earl” after a particular video game character she likes. Has mannerisms and speech patterns similar to Digit the Cockroach from An American Tail as Gimmighoul.
Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti: The mysterious, mildly eccentric Pokémon of the Kitakami Region. They choose Ash, Team Rocket, Alfie and Iono to assist in preventing a coming disaster that threatens Paldea and Kitakami. Ogerpon’s role is pending further DLC information.

PKMN IRL Master Post
This post is a list of every single one of my Pokemon IRL blogs. It will lengthen or shorten as I create or delete blogs. Mostly lengthen, probably.
@fox-poke-fanatic: A blog run by Caleb, average college student who wants to become the ultimate expert on fox pokemon.
@aura-acolyte: My take on the protagonist of ORAS, here named Mare Birch. She has Aura Powers and is also the Chosen of Rayquaza, a role that is both poorly defined and well defined. She gets involved in a lot of high stakes stuff. She's also the protagonist of that fanfic I linked.
@the-looker-bureau: A blog focusing on Looker and Emma. In this universe, Looker continued being a private detective and father figure for Emma.
@last-lorekeeper: A blog run by Zinnia, the Lorekeeper of the Draconid people. She's taken up teaching in her spare time.
@twinchampionsofkalos: A blog run by Calem and Serena, who in this universe both take the role of Champion of the Kalos region. Calem's the responsible one while Serena's the more reckless one. Calem is an Acearo malewife and Serena is a Lesbian girlboss and certified disaster gay.
@appeallove: A blog run by Lisia, contest spectacular idol. She's always peppy, never dropping her cheerful demeanor even when mad. She may be one of the scariest people on the planet.
@rocket-cast-official: Prepare for Trouble and Make it Double. The Team Rocket Trio hosts a podcast. Hopefully they won't be blasting off again.
@glitchskulls: A blog co-run with @newworldenderdragon. It focuses on the newly established branch of Team Skull in Glitch City, a region where space is weird and Glitch Pokemon are the norm. Due to the nature of Glitch Pokemon there is a general unreality tw on this one.
@guardian-ofthe-sky: Rayquaza runs a blog where it tries to play the responsible parent. It's very proud of it's Chosen.
@aqua-magma-official: The account of the reformed Teams Aqua and Magma, run by their twin PR heads Magma Grunt Kai and Aqua Grunt Nicky. Yes, they are genuinely reformed this is not a secret evil plot. Blog is usually low stakes and will not become high stakes of its own accord.
@hoenn-tv-official: After one too many hospital trips and legal snafus, Gabby and Ty have been demoted to Social Media Rep. However shall they cope.
@phantom-flower: A blog for Phoebe, Ghost Type Hoenn Elite Four Member.
@the-new-eon-duo: A pair of Superheroes backed by the Devon Corporation. If your first reaction was "ew corporation" you have the right idea.
@themostspecialestlegendaryever: A blog for Latias, the world's best, most specialest legendary ever.
@pokestar-rosa: A blog for Rosa who decided bring Champion wasn't for her and became an actor instead. It's also an excuse for me to give screenwriting and movie nerd rants.
@landandseaunited: Archie and Maxie are reformed and dating. Good for them.
@kalos-news-network-official: The official blog for the Kalos News Network, run by Malva, Chief Bitch.
@leavesofbattle: A blog for Leaf as an adult.
@naranja-uva-student-council: An AU where all four protags of ScarVio are on the Student Council instead of just Nemona. Inspired by Kaguya-Sama: Love is War.
@shiftingbetweenrealities: As a result of the final showdown at Spear Pillar, Cynthia has found herself cast out into the multiverse, constantly changing universes. Unfortunately, her physical body was not cast into the multiverse, only her mind, so she inhabits the body of whatever Cynthia is native to that universe.
@hoenn-battle-frontier-official: Blog for the Hoenn Battle Frontier, located in LaRousse City, run by Anabel.
@xxcodeveeveexx: Cassiopeia | Any Pronouns | Likes: Veevees, Coding, Anime, Video Games | Dislikes: Social Interactions, Bullies
@lea-hi: "Faller" (not really cause no Ultra Wormholes but I'm the only one who seems to care about the actual definition) blog for Lea from CrossCode.
@friendly-neighborhood-calem: You can call her Callie. Or Cal on boy days. Yes, I made a second Calem blog shut up. This one's the rival, not the protag, so it's different. And also she's gender-fluid.
@its-gonna-be-may: It's May but something's kinda off about her. Is she even who she says she is? (read the pinned, its important)

Ash in Paldea sounds amazing but instead of a student, he is there to research the Gym/Elite Four/Champion system to see what he can bring back to Alola. He is handed Nemona, Penny, and Arven to be his private students because Nemona is a Champion-ranked student who wants to learn everything about Ash and his ways from scratch, Penny needs to catch up on schoolwork so having a Champion tutor her might help, and Arven is going off into hostile lands for his plant research so he needs a body guard. Since they have a vehicle-like Pokemon, everything is solved like 1 month in universe. Then comes Area Zero and Ash is like "THERE IT IS THERE IS THE OTHER SHOW DROPPING I AM GOING TO SLAM DUNK STEVEN LEARNING ABOUT SPECIAL CRYSTAL POWER-UPS WAS NOT WORTH IT" but he decides to take custody of the Paradox Pokemon anyway. Bonus that Team Rocket is there acting as counselors/assistant nurses and they actually end up helping Team Star with their vehicles and acting as therapists for the Student Trio.
Okay, therapist Team Rocket is a damn NEED okay.
Ash would totally groan and moan about having to watch over kids, in good nature as he’d be a bit older now, but it be hilarious if he’s shown the Trio and immediately noticed that he’s the smallest out of the group. Even Penny is like a noticeable couple of inches taller then Ash. He would totally call Brock at least a couple of times a week to ask so many questions on parenting hard headed children and Brock just laughs at him for a very long time every time he picks up.

i am going to talk about oc pokemon au and you cant stop me :] (or, alternatively, if you're spark, it just me reiterating it with proper wording LOL)
Orbit is a knowledgable figure, unsure if I want him to be a professor or not, but he's also someone who's going to be important in the balance of quality of life in both humans and pokemon in his town, ensuring that the people do not disturb the natural habitat, and that the townsfolk be able to live a good life within the town. Ike was / is Orbit's partner in this endeavor, but went missing (presumed dead) for a year or two while he was out on a diplomatic trip out of the region; The two eventually reunite, not to worry.
Alon and Lupa are field researchers that work with/under Orbit. Alon in particular used to be a gym leader of the region in his younger years, but decided to retire a full year before he and Lupa got married, wanting to focus on his family and trying to get away from the public eye. He and his husband mostly help with nurturing hatchlings nowadays, but occasionally do the fieldwork for their job, as well as personal outings with personal agendas, of course.
Lupa has always been so passionate about pokemon and their behavior, seeking to understand them more. He wandered around various regions, becoming champion once and never again, despising the unwarranted fame his younger self did not want. He also met Alon during his travels, starting out at the wrong foot but quickly becoming fast friends, with Alon freely offering Lupa his kindness and hospitability. Despite all that, he still challenges gyms for the sake of it even now!
AND NOW FOR THE PROTAGS
The story follows Mela, Orbit's daughter, wanting to be as accomplished as her father, and setting out to her own journey. She's accompanied by Akku, who is Alon and Lupa's son, and his boyfriend, Hiraya, who was often under Orbit's watch due to his parents often being called for their duties as Elites.
As the trio's journey goes on, they all end up in a rather far away snowfields; and Mela eventually meets a man who looks rather familiar... but can't quite place her finger as to who exactly it is. She wants to find out though, stubborn as she always is to get things right. It's weird though, because it seems like Hiraya's seen a ghost, but he just won't say.
In the end of this arc, Mela meets the lake spirits, and they help her remember who that man was to her. Is to her. Ike, her dad, who's been missing and apparently, just as confused as her, because neither of them remember each other etc etc.
Tumblr media
AUUGHUAHU
IT ALL VERY . MESSY and unclear and i might renew a lot of this bc i havent thought about all it yet. the basic summary was this:
Story following though 3 childhood friends journeys, Mela being the main protag ??? wanting to be like her dad ??? Accidentally finding her other, long missing father in the process??? ENSUE TEAM ROCKET LIKE EVENTS AND SHIT GOES DOOOOOWN
Akku and Hiraya just there for silly goofy shenanigans and support. (Akku wanting to explore like his parents did, and Hiraya not having much to do anyway, being the current youngest and not having much direction in his life???? idkkk HAHA but he and akku share the same passion w/ loving pokemon, akku just wants to see if he can run though badges in the process)
anyway yah feel free to plonk your opinions on this, i obviously have a lot to research, like the lake spirits, and which pokemon can temporarily take away your bad memories and help return it when you have to face it (first thought was gothitelle??) or if i can make up a process wherein a venusaur knowing amnesia -> imbued that power in its spores/pollen to help ease sadness that its trainer is experiencing and how thats kind but also kind of. oof move on the venusaur. etc etc. idk HAHAHHA

KNIGHT ‼️‼️‼️
YOU ARE SO BIG FUCKING BRAIN
I DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE HOUNDOOMS. YOU ARE SO SMART HOLY SHIT I FEEL BAD FOR DIANTHA NOW. SHE DIED THE WAY HER MOM ALWAYS THREATENED HER WITH
But yeah, all the Champions families can’t even bring themselves to watch the live feed because who wants to see their daughter and granddaughter get mauled to death? Or see their son being slowly burnt alive while he pleads for mercy? Or watch as their uncle struggles while his head is held underneath water. Or even their sister who’s being skinned alive from her feet to her head. Even their big bro who’s being tossed around like a rag doll between two large Pokémon fighting over him
Giovanni is a BITCH for bringing Clair and Silver into this. Like they weren’t even given a chance to live just for the sole reason they’re important to Lance. And Gio wants to see Lance break even more after he had to witness his daughter and wife die
Also, which of the Elite Four members and Gym Leaders do you think would join Team RR? Either out of fear or just because they think they can benefit from it?
OUGHFHFFH RIGHT CHSMBXNS
Your honour that's so fucked up I can only imagine Drasna really going through it but also still trying to comfort Augustine, but they're both really so out of it man, especially how Drasna knew of the threats Dia's mother said to her; Drayden's there on the hunt for Plasma, just letting his rage out on all the grunts he sees, the sages, until he gets to Ghetsis himself; Joseph couldn't handle it man, he already lost his wife now he lost his son, the sound of Steven's screams haunts him; god Lisia too, the only family she had left and now he's being drowned, and she cursed the irony of it, of Wallace being so drawn to the waters but it's also one of the reasons for his death; Cyn's sister and grandparents tho chdmdb like Cyn's sis knew Cyrus was her friend, and she couldn't believe Cyrus would do that to Cynthia; and then there's Hop, crying his poor little heart out, screaming for his brother, the once great champion of Galar reduced to nothing but a chew toy for those pokemon.
Ough that's fucked up, but also where the fuck is Geeta in all this— imagine tho in the au of an au where she's evil, imagine she's the one to tell Lysandre what would really break Diantha, bc Diantha confided in her y'know, told her everything, her best friend, her platonic soulmate, then suddenly Geeta looks at her with cold and calculating eyes, suddenly she wasn't the friend Diantha knew, and god that fucking broke her man, how Geeta used Dia's vulnerabilities, how she knew each and every one of em, and used that to her advantage chsnnd
But for the not evil Geeta thing imagine if she did hid herself tho, and everyone else called her a coward. But that was the last thing Diantha told her, Dia made her promise to hide, like what she said to Iris, to just hide, to not let Giovanni find her. But that backfired on Geeta tho, and now everyone, especially the family of the other Champions, called her cowardly, how she couldn't even try to help her fellow champions, how she couldn't even try to save them. But man that would haunt her too, having to watch Diantha die, having to watch her friends die, it fucked her up so so much and she hated herself so much that she didn't defy Diantha and went to her side to help her
As for the league members thatd join Team RR
For Kanto idk, since in the manga majority of em was associated w Rocket,, well let's go w that. Sabrina, Surge, and Blaine are my top three for that, tho I wanna say Blaine was blackmailed into joining bc he was one of the people who made Mewtwo. Green would be against them tho, I know the Kanto trio would team up w the rest of the Gym Leaders to stop them.
For the Johto leaders, I really can't see any of them joining Team RR, even if they're threatened I think some or most would rather go down w a fight than to join em. For the Indigo E4, low-key I think Koga and Will would join em.
For Hoenn's league, Norman. And for Sinnoh to Unova none of em they'd be against RR, Unova especially man they really fought tooth and nail to stop Plasma only for Plasma to be part of RR and is now more threatening than before. For Kalos, I honestly think Lysandre would threaten and blackmail Malva to joining again, idk if she'd cave in or not bc holy shit™. Alola to Paldea, none too, idk, bc Alola didn't want to be part of it ofc, their league is still fairly new, most of their members are children, if anything I wanna say they'd try to fight them off if they do get to their region. The Galarian people got Rose Tower demolished man they're so fucking pissed at Rose, no one's ever seen Raihan and Sonia that pissed before too like these two especially want to hunt down Rose. And for Paldea, well, not only are they mourning the other Champions but also mourning and kinda hating on their own Champion too, my guy, Geeta's really going through it, she doesn't wanna lose anyone else, so she keeps an eye on her league members within the shadows, to make sure none of them ever join RR

What is your favorite Pokémon story???
Hey there anon! Ooh this is great and tough question. There's so many ways I could answer this. Do I like games, anime or manga overall? What are my favorite stories from all each of the three main media? I'm going to answer it by each universe since I have followed all 3 to some extent I'll start with the games and I'd honestly say the Gen 5 series is probably my favorite story and that's talking both BW and BW2. I've said this before but I usually don't care for the villainous teams all that much but Team Plasma definitely one of the (as of Scarlet/Violet) four teams I actually enjoyed (Others being Rocket, Skull and now Team Star). The way they were integrated into the story from the beginning to the end was really well done. That and I love it when the antagonists make you think about the established rules of the verse (Humans and Pokemon should work together...shouldn't they?). Plus seeing the individual arcs of Bianca, Cheren, N and Hugh were really touching to see. The timeskip between BW and BW2 helped a lot IMO and it was great to see time being acknowledged since that doesn't happen often in the Pokemon universe. For the anime, my favorite story would probably be the DP arc. I really loved how Dawn felt like a leading protagonist alongside Ash which was a first for the series (May walked so Dawn could run, and Dawn's also had clear impacts on Goh becoming a co-protagonist as well). The Paul vs Ash rivalry was honestly one of the best rivalries ever (even there were a few parts I wish Paul had gotten more chastising). And honestly while I didn't care for a lot of the Sinnoh Cast in games (admittedly the gen 4 games are my least favorite) the anime really made them shine and I adore all of the Sinnoh casts' anime personas. Also Gary and May coming back was a welcome treat. And I can't forget about the Team Galactic arc. Like I said earlier, I'm not a big fan of most of the evil team stories and Team Galactic gamewise is my least favorite. But the anime managed to really make me enjoy their arc with the inclusion of Hunter J and also allowing the Lake Trio to bond to Ash, Dawn and Brock and seeing Cynthia and Looker take even more active roles.
And then to round out things for the manga I would say my favorite arc from there would be the Ruby and Sapphire arc. I really loved the whole 80 day challenge and how Ruby was the one to do contests and Sapphire was the one to partake in the gym challenge.. It was a nice change of pace since up until that time I had been mainly an anime enjoyer so while I adored Ash and May, it was nice to see girls partake in battles and the guys partake in contests. Plus since Emerald was the first ever mainline game that I was able to complete as a child it was really nice to see the Team Aqua and Team Magma clash shown in a more narrative format (and in an overall better way than how the anime handled their plot). Seeing Steven and Wallace and the Elite Four get involved? It was amazing. Even Wally getting a chance to help out? So cool!

The way I organize my cards is based on their number in the Pokédex and the style of the cards. As for the older ones 90’s base cards I have it organized by Pokédex number and their set, so if it’s base 2 they go in the base 2 section, fossils, rocket set ect. Also their style, so when they came out with the clay models for the cards or yarn models they get organized that way.
As for the full art I have three full binders of them to separate from the 90’s cards (I also have them set by the years in different folders). I try to keep them together as best as I could so let’s say I have three different of the same Pokémon full art I try and keep those together but if I have three same and one different they go in a row that way.
Rainbow cards go with rainbow cards, gold cards go with gold, full trainer cards are put in the trainer section and set with Gen 1 trainers and onward. Same with energy cards too.
Movie cards also go in the full art binders as well but I haven’t opened them since the movie came out.
Oh also forgien cards have a separate binder as well.
I am so sorry for the long rant on cards.
that sounds like an intense collection. I've just been organizing them by PokeDex number and that I was just getting at least 1 card for each pokemon, including regional forms, form changes (Castform's Weather forms, Rotom's Appliance forms, the Genie Trio's Therian formes, etc etc) and Mega Evolutions (if available, not every Mega got a card). There are a few that I'm considering getting as well such as Burmy and Wormadan's cloaks, Deerling and Sawsbuck's season forms, Meowstic and Indeedee's male/female variations, etc etc but atm I just want it complete and once I get the last of Gen 1-8 complete then I'll consider getting those types of variations. I'm also not caring about the art or rarity atm but once I have it done then I'll get better art for the 'mons that I like. I'm also trying to get the important NPCs such as the Region Professors, Player Characters, Rivals, Team Bosses/Grunts/Henchmen, Gym Leaders and Elite 4 but that one will take longer since not every gym leader has a card and so I have to wait until they do to fill in that slot...whenever that'll be.
I haven't kept tabs on how expensive my collection has been but from the sound of yours, it's must've taken a lot of cash (a lot more that I'd both see and spend, lol)

ALOLA RAMBLING part 2
Some sixty years pass this way, and much of the disaster is forgotten. Life moves on. Until trouble erupts in Flora when it seems Giratina is antsy about something. Nothing happens yet but it has everyone on edge that something in the Void has shifted. Meanwhile in the CW comes the appearance of a group called Team Fusion in Tunod. They haven't been seen since RW2 but their mission is simple: to break the seal on these gateways so they can bridge the Void between the two worlds to access the Pokemon, knowledge and technology that exists on both sides to build up their own "alien" brand of "magic" to make them the most powerful people in the world. It seems this quiet little region has a gateway too, but it hasn't been activated in centuries. Probably because the system to open it is even more difficult than Alola's is since it requires the cooperation of the Creation Trio. But somehow Team Fusion does it. Not long enough to get themselves across the divide, but they do succeed in breaking the barriers at least. And that news is veeeery interesting to the likes of Team Rocket.
Burning Red comes about and it seems even if Fusion failed, the forbidden knowledge has gotten out (or probably bought out knowing Giovanni's wealth and Michael's greed) since Giovanni has found a way to travel between the two worlds to his advantage. Only to be stopped by Kay, who it turns out is able to pursue the wicked man to the bitter end in both worlds. Cyan appears to him out of the Void and passes the torch of Olden's forbidden arts. Someone needs to because Giovanni may have left Kanto, but he's gathering forces…
Which brings us back to Alola.
Quips is now an old man and fulfilled his wish to become Kahuna after Hala. There's a new kid arriving from Sinnoh and a new generation of people happy to help Roark on what is supposed to be a much more vibrant and kinder Alola than the one Nigel would have faced as a kid. There's still plenty of things that never seem to change but there's a new group of weirdos called the Ultra Recon Squad to deal with. At least they seem pretty harmless. The bigger concern is this supposed "great evil" that's bound to be released if they can't either discover how their ancestors were able to seal it or away or find a way to appease Necrozma so it doesn't try to consume Alola as the next closest world. Lusamine (this one being Gladion's daughter and named for her grandmother) is desperate to save her world from this darkness in some ludicrous suicide mission to charge after it herself. Instead, she accidentally releases Necrozma before Roark ends up defeating it for them.
Roark wondered at first if that's all there was to it, but then Aether Paradise is attacked by the Rainbow Rockets, a group made up of the villain elite led by none other than Giovanni. It seems their goal is …Not unified at all, but seems like varying ideas of disaster to either take over or destroy the world, which is reasonably concerning either way. Giovanni however is directly after Lusamine, and plans to have this one who was never possessed by Nihilego in the first place, become the new Mother Beast and form an army of Outsiders to help him in his reign of terror across the Void again. Roark forms a team of his own to help go in and take them out, but Colress has a different plan where he merely banishes them from Alola.
With the presumed "Great Evil" finally defeated, Roark decides to befriend the broken Necrozma and nurse it back to health. But the beast must consume energy and Roark is the Voices' little sunshine child. His aura is very bright but not enough to sustain a dying star. Necrozma uses its ability to transform into a mask and latches onto him, sometimes fully possessing him when it encases him in Celestic black armor, and starts hunting around the islands; stealing the Light from others when it can't find a large enough source and leaves a trail of Shadows, both humans and Pokemon alike. For fear of what it would do if it got a hold of the Cosmic Duo, Aether sailed their man-made island away with the hope Necrozma couldn't follow.
Alola may not be facing an eternal darkness, and keeping it contained to the islands has kept the curse from spreading, but this is a true disaster growing. With no one able to counter the black menace, the Interpol issues a call for people to evacuate and works with Aether to become some kind of ark by returning to the islands long enough to grab anyone unable to leave and have a shelter / ferry until plans can be made. There's really nowhere safe to go though…
Restless spirits have been reportedly appearing in several regions, a randomization wave has started to overtake both Kalos and Orre, the New Hoenn Isles have been corroded by Glitches, Kanto and Johto are seeing the first signs of snow in what will become the storm of the century. A new darkness is predicted on the horizon. Can this "Eternitus" possibly be even worse?
In such apocalyptic conditions, many have started to research the old ways for how to create a "Pocket Dimension" to sustain life away from the threats until it's safe to return. The different regions seem to come up with different methods for doing so. The Aether Survivors didn't originally plan to "escape" but hoped they could instead utilize Rijon's lost art for using books to seal away living beings to hold those turned into Shadows somewhere safe until a cure can be found. But such cursed objects are dangerous if they find their way into the right hands. No one could have expected a little girl like Anabel Lillie would have the natural magical ability to open the books, summon with them, enter into them… And the poor foolish child had no idea what power she held or the delicate object she'd found. The Aether Paradise suddenly started to grow empty as with each diary entry more "characters" were placed in her world. People she knew, people she missed, her own childish understanding of the Shadows, everything. Everything until the lonely little girl decided to join them herself. But not before one final wish: to have a friend who truly knows and loves her despite being the so-called witch that she is…
Virginia Faba and her mother planned to meet with her father, Dexio, after he'd been missing for a few years. Odd but her mother is ambitious and can only assume what he'd want to see them for is for Virginia's own good. What they found is somehow they've been transported to this warped funhouse version of Alola, several years after everyone was dumped into it, with talking Pokemon, time-displaced criminals, actual monsters in their midst, and a strange young lady Verge has been tasked by some local deity to protect.
They at least did find her father here, so her mom is happy, but Verge has a long task ahead of her trying to find her place in the world when her parents, the professors, and even Anabel all seem to have plans for her. And why does she keep hearing about this "Roark" guy from the Voices? And the Ultra Recon Squad seem like a dangerous bunch, but should she be surprised when several of them turn out to be part of the Rainbow Rocket organization? A much different crew than the last guys, these Rockets are being led by none other than Mr. Grimsley. The same though thoroughly corrupted Grimsley who, in the years since losing everything, has stopped fighting the Outsiders in his system and started collaborating with others to control the worlds. Or at least that's the Rockets' plans, but it seems he's keeping his cards close to his heart even with them. Verge needs to find a way out of this place, save Anabel from herself, get her other friends back to who they are, and maybe with all the knowledge they find, they can fix the real Alola as well.
They succeed, but it seems everyone was scattered, and those returning to Alola reveals an almost alien world has taken its place. There's a lot of cleanup to do, but in relaxing the rules and traditions long since held, the people of Alola are hoping they can either learn to live with the monsters that have overtaken the islands or restore some semblance of normalcy to their world as they work together to set things right. The long recovery begins, but there's still the ever looming threat: What happened to Necrozma? And what is this Ultra Beast Queen calling out from the Void?

5 13 + 21 for the pkmn asks!!
THANK YOU LEE! You’re the best <3
5. Favourite trainer
Does Koga count? I don’t know if he does cause he’s an elite four member/gym leader but if he does than yes Koga, he’s great. But from the pokespe trainers it’s Yellow, Green and Silver who are my favourites (probably in that order??)
13. Favourite Antagonist team
It might be basic but team rocket, this is purely because of pokespe btw, since that was my first ever ‘I can not and will not stop obsessing over this and everyone else has to deal with it’ phase with pokémon, I just loved the trio of evil gym leaders and also Ken, Al and Harry. So yeah, the manga’s portrayal of team rocket got me attatched to them
21. Favourite Legendary/Mythical
Hands down Giratina (I specifically like the origin form design) I don’t know how or when it became my favourite. I don’t even know why it’s my favourite it just sorta is?? but I love Giratina so much <3 Other ones i’m fond of include but are not limited to: Victini, Raikou and the lake trio

pokemon adventures manga, vol. 3
so, yeah! this is the exciting conclusion of the first arc of the pokemon manga. red & blue & green face off against sabrina & koga & lt surge, followed by red facing off against giovanni.
ok first of all, there's some SUPER hot stuff in this if you're a weird freak like me? like blue getting restrained & gagged/suffocated by a muk??? and red getting tortured with electricity by lt surge??? and sabrina being a super dommy bitch in general??? there's probably other stuff i'm forgetting, but yeah, FUCK.
red's fight with giovanni is also WAY more satisfying than the fight in the game from a story perspective? like, in the game, he's all generically "bwahahahaha!" before you fight him & afterwards he's all "oh no, you beat me, i'll stop being evil now i guess & dedicate my life to studying pokemon" and like, what the fuck ever, dude! that dialogue always seemed pretty weak to me, but something i'm willing to shrug off in a gameboy game made for babies. just saying, this is way better.
once team rocket is dealt with, our heroes head for indigo plateau. i guess in the manga there's a tournament to crown a champion of the pokemon league BEFORE facing the elite four? which actually makes a lot of story sense, but i'm glad that isn't how it's done in the game because fighting your rival last really is the most satisfying culmination imo.
the semifinals end up being set with red vs blue (hey that's a catchy name for a webseries or something ;p) & green vs A MYSTERY OPPONENT named dr. o who is just the most obvious lightly-disguised professor oak ever but obviously everyone is shocked when he reveals himself.
honestly i really feel like they did green dirty here? like, i'm glad professor oak gives her a pokedex & she's now a fully-fledged member of the pallet town trio, but it feels like she's being punished for literally nothing. idk. just rubbed me the wrong way.
red & blue's fight KICKS ASS, and again is way more satisfying storywise than their fight in the game. i still don't entirely love that the new broad strokes of their story don't have them knowing each other since childhood (with the pretty blatant implication that blue was red's childhood bully), but nevertheless i just love the way that the manga shows them having actually grown & learned from each other, and having developed a healthy amount of respect for each other that comes out in the battle.
so, yeah! all in all, this is a fucking fantastic final volume of this arc that really takes advantage of all the great setup that happened in the first two volumes. idk if they're all gonna be this good, but this makes my final verdict a pretty resounding "yeah, that ruled."
