okay listen. i love wolves. as in, i LOVE wolves. wolves were my longest-running special interest (i memorized a chart of traits of how they age and i could pretty accurately guesstimate how old an individual wolf was at a glance), and even if they aren't technically a special interest now, they still hold a very special place in my heart. (this place in my heart also includes coyotes, wolfdogs, coydogs, and coywolves. i am also one of those people who is of the belief that coywolves should be considered their own thing apart from wolves and coyotes, but i digress, as this is not the point of the ask.)

and i am honest-to-god so frustrated with the constant wolf slander in Ranger's Apprentice. whenever wolves show up in the series, they are consistently portrayed as violent and cunning and dangerous and i. :(

wolves will not attack humans unless you are either actively threatening and cornering them, or they've gotten accustomed to humans. they are wild animals, yes, but they're far more afraid of humans and are incredibly unlikely to attack.

and don't even get me STARTED on dire wolves. which were an actual species that lived in east Asia and the Americas that went extinct about 9500 years ago, so the closest chance Arazan has at having those "dire" wolves is by excessively breeding a specific group of wolves to have particular traits. or hell, maybe even a specific breed of dog, or wolfdogs, to make it more manageable! but there is no way in hell she has actual dire wolves.

not to mention, dire wolves likely would have had traits similar to our current grey wolves, although they may have went after larger prey. they were bulkier with larger bones, and were also a good deal taller and longer than our current day grey wolves. however, even with that, they likely would've avoided humans (i mean, humans could take down straight-tusked elephants, which i believe were over twice the size of our current elephants), or hunted alongside humans in a tense but mutualistic relationship (hence how we got dogs). but they also certainly wouldn't have taken orders from humans like dogs would.

i am entirely ready to fist fight someone about this. i'd probably lose because my bad knee will go out just after going up two flights of stairs, but i will still fist fight someone. you can Fight. Me.

Owning an airfryer has fundamentally changed my life for the better because if I do my groceries on time, I am never more than 15 minutes away from onion rings. And I mean real tastiy good crispy onionrings!

The thing about me is I can be controlled by like 4 things, and one of them is onionrings. I would do some depraived shit for good onion rings, and now they are just at my fingertips.

I actually just started learning how to talk in plurals too. So far it was always je tu il and elle but now I know nous, vous ils and elles! Which is good. I think.

And I unlocked special classes on idioms and flirting but they are too hard atm, and all I got from them was that apparently Duo thinks flirting is like confessing undying love to your forever soulmate.

Commentary‘Istaa-‘uu and ‘istataa-‘uu are the same words. In the first word “ta” has been dropped. It is used in both kinds. In the Section before this, (both) words – tastii-‘u and tastatii-‘u were used as its aorist {(Gram) the name of certain tenses in the Greek verb expressing indefinite time}. It is a past tense from the word ‘isttitaa-‘atun, origin of which is “sata-‘a”. Sata-’a means “wheedling”. It aims “strength” also. By this meaning, it has become ‘istitaa-‘atun which means “to have power”.Naqbun – (to pierce the wall, digging through the wall),Dak-kaaa-’a – (to lay anything low), this word has been derived from dakkun, which means “to make a thing leveled by breaking it into pieces”. Dakkaaa-‘a means “the thing, which has been broken into pieces”.According to own sense of Dhu’l-Qarneyn, as he constructed the wall between two mountains, after completion; it had become too much strong and firm that Gog and Magog were rendered helpless in breaking it. Due to its height, being flat and spot, neither there was anything to catch with hand and nor any place of standing firmly, and nor they were able to climb on the wall. When it was prepared, Alexander thanked God Almighty that He took from him a work of comforting to His slaves.
