Im fernen Märchenland Indien schwören sich in einem heiligen Hain voller Derwische der tapfere, aber inkonsequente Krieger Solor und die Bayadère (französisch für Tempeltänzerin) Nikiya ewige Liebe. Der Oberbrahmane ist auch scharf auf sie. Der Radjah will Solor aber lieber mit seiner Tochter vermählen, was für diesen auch in Ordnung ist. Dass die arme Bayadère dann aber auch noch auf der Verlobungsparty tanzen muss, ist dann aber schon ein bisschen gemein, aber nichts dagegen, daß die offensichtlich nicht so selbstbewußte Verlobte sie sicherheitshalber auch noch hinterhätig umbringen läßt, gleich am Ende des ersten Akts.

Sie spukt dann aber als Geist herum, Solor ergibt sich dem Opiumrausch (oben), der aus einigen aufwändigen Choreographien für das Corps de Ballet besteht. Bei der Vermählung schließlich hat die zuständige Gottheit aber dann doch genug, versenkt alles in Schutt und Asche und die Liebenden sind in himmlichen Gefilelden oder Nirvana oder was in diesem Falle die zuständige Einrichtung ist wieder vereint. Obwohl man nicht ganz dahinter kommt, was sie eigentlich aneinander finden. Im wesentlichen scheinen sie eigentlich nur darauf zu achten, daß sie beim Tanzen gut aussehen.

En este momento Wallace estaba junto a un desconcertado Scott, quien acababa de recibir una llamada de Envy, su ex.

Pocos minutos después de que la llamada finalizara el teléfono resonó por la habitación, Wallace tomó el teléfono atendiendo la llamada.

── ¿Hola? Oh, ¡hola Knives! ── Wallace sonríe un poco levantándose del puf ── ¿Qué que, estás aquí?

Scott sobresaltado se para del sofá exaltado por saber que Knives estaba afuera. Wallace se acerca a la puerta para abrirla para encontrarse con Knives. ── ¿Está Scott?

Wallace cierra un poco la puerta para que luego Scott se lance a la ventana ── ¿Sabes qué? Acaba de irse...

Knives abre los ojos algo sorprendida ── ¿En serio?

── Sí... ── Wallace acaricia su propia cabeza pidiendo disculpas, Scott desde la ventana rota toma su abrigo ── Lo siento.

── Acaba de irse por la ventana. ── Caminas y apareces detrás de Knives, ella se da vuelta al verte eres el hermano mayor de Knives ── ¿Qué haces aquí?

Wallace nota tu presencia al lado de Knives ── ¿Qué haces tú aquí? Sabes como se pondrá mamá si sabe que estás aquí.

Knives mira tímidamente a un curioso Wallace, luego te mira a tí, querías una explicación ── Heh... supongo que quieres saber quien es él... Él es _______, mi herman-

── Ugh.. por favor vámonos Knives, esto es vergonzoso... ── Wallace sonríe de una forma burlona.

── Oh, quédate. Tengo que ir con Tamara de compras, ¡quiero cambiar mi cabello! ── No sabías que decir al respecto, Knives últimamente estaba obsesionada con el estilo de Ramona Flowers, quería tener un parecido a ella para captar la atención de Scott.

No tenías razón decirle que no así que te despediste de ella.

── Sería divertido probarlo~ ── Abres los ojos otra vez ruborizado, sabías lo que insinúa por lo tanto suspiras dejándote llevar.

── ¿Es un sí? ── Wallace toma tu rostro besandote dulcemente. Antes de que pudieran incluso comenzar. Scott abre la puerta de forma violenta como si estuviera tratando se ocultarse.

Shale Wagman - First Soloist, Bavarian State Ballet

Shale Wagman trained in Toronto and in Monte Carlo at the Académie Princesse Grace. He has received numerous awards, including the first prize at the Prix de Lausanne, the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation award for artistry in 2018 and the youth American Grand Prix (2014). He was the youngest guest ever invited to perform in a principal role (James in La Sylphide) at the Mariinsky. He has performed in many gala performances, including the International Ballet Festival in St. Petersburg Dance Open (2019) or the Gala de Danza in Los Cabos, Mexico.

His first engagement was with the English National Ballet in London under the direction of Tamara Rojo. He has performed in productions by Derek Deane (Swan Lake), Marco Goecke (Hungarian Dance No.1, created for him), Akram Khan (Dust), Russell Maliphant (Second Breath), Annabelle Lopez Ochoa (Frida), Jean-Christophe Maillot (Nutcracker), Christopher Wheeldon (Cinderella) and Wayne McGregor (Chroma solo).

Since 2015, Shale Wagman has repeatedly choreographed, including works for the Académie Princesse Grace, Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco and the Gala de Danza, Mexico.

He has been engaged by the Bayerisches Staatsballett since spring 2021 and was promoted to first soloist for the 2022-23 season.

Is it just me or does Tamara Rojo give off bad vibes? I think a lot of good dancers like Dronina, Kochetkova and Cojocaru left ENB because of her and I heard that she was hard to work with. I also read something that she and Cojocaru were rivals when they were dancing and aren’t on good terms with each other? The fact that Rojo also has a personal relationship AND HAD A CHILD with Isaac Hernandez, who is 17 years younger than her, also bothers me, but at least they’re consenting adults. I still think it’s impressive how she was able to have a child in her late 40s, even though that’s favoritism right there.

I know (not personally) someone who attended my old school, went to SFB’s school, and is now an apprentice at National Ballet of Canada maybe because they didn’t want to deal with Rojo?

Let's just say the vibes are as bad as they seem. Talented dancer but I can't say I support a lot of her choices.
