ULTRAKILL HEADCANONS
Hi there! Throws headcanons at you
Note: when I refer to someone as myself in these, I mean V2. (I promise I'll update my carrd sometime I promise)
Before Act 2, Gabriel would start destroying random empty areas of Hell when he was really angry- only stopping when he calms down. He shouts many no-no words while doing so and feels little to no guilt about it. Though, he would never tell anyone about this.
(I don't know if I should call this a headcanon but shhh) Personally I took the pyramid of Greed because I wanted to. Not just solely for the entertainment of the Terminals, but because I laid my camera onto that thing and I decided "THIS THING. IS NOW MINE" and THEN I sat on the throne and it was so cool.
I bet one of the Ferrymen absolutely hates Gabriel, no matter how much the others love him. It cannot be convinced no matter what and its ship explicitly says "NO ARCHANGELS ALLOWED" and would personally harbor V1 without any hesitation. I can't think of an exact why for now, but I like the idea.
V1 first experienced emotion in front of one of the Terminals, being a mixture of confusion and hate. The Terminal that witnessed this is too afraid to reveal this information to the rest of the hivemind that are the Terminals. Even though their information is supposed to be shared from Terminal to Terminal, it strictly refuses to share the fact.
Sysiphus would find all the memes about him funny. Or like anything related to the whole pushing a rock up a hill, he'd find it hilarious. Bro is an absolute madman who didn't regret anything so he'd laugh like an uncle at it.
The Swordsmachines would have a small crisis upon seeing one another. "You look like ME!" But they'd also bond. "Ohh crap- which original Swords model was your inspiration?" And stuff like that, they'd marvel at their idol and how they modified their structures.
If Mirage somehow made her way out of her secret level, I bet she wouldn't notice. And if she did, she wouldn't care. She'd kill a thing or two simply because she got really ticked. She'd like V1 and would be iffy about literally everyone else. I also bet one of her abilities would be to inflict such a severe psychological crisis on one of the husks that they temporarily become paralyzed.

ive been playing totk for probably about 50-75 hours cumulatively and ive gone from being mildly disappointed in it to actively disliking the game. to be honest, i cannot fathom the praise this game has been receiving. despite how impressive it is on a technical level, i sincerely think its substantially worse than breath of the wild in many ways. its also EXTRAORDINARILY harder, and NOT in the fun way. every task feels like a fractalline torture quest, all of the combat encounters are excessively difficult, (statistically, not strategically) and any rational way to make those encounters easier (namely finding armor) is often impossible to find without a wiki and even harder to pull off than the original encounter. i tried so hard to like this game, especially given how much i loved breath of the wild, but it just feels like a direction-less DLC by comparison. to be clear, i am not even very easy to frustrate (i beat getting over it with bennet foddy 12 times) nor am i that bad at difficult combat oriented games, (i beat elden ring twice and golded the entirety of ultrakill (except sysiphus 💀)) so the only conclusion i can come to is that this game could (at the VERY least) use some accessibilities options. hell, i died over 15 times in the fucking tutorial area! despite the game clearly being made in a way to suggest casual players and people who never played BOTW should play it anyway, i find it hard to imagine any inexperienced player could make it past the tutorial, at least without some major difficulties! (not to mention how the tutorial still fails to explain so many integral new mechanics despite being so long. like i get focusing on the story, but the grand-scale writing in totk has been almost embarrassingly bad a full of plot holes and splinters so far, so i dont think that excuses not properly initiating the player to the fucking game.)
every time i play a session, my list of minor complaints grows longer, to the point that i can hardly even begin to list them in this post, while ive only encountered a sparing few details that felt like needed/warranted improvements/changes on breath of the wild. it really makes me struggle to maintain any motivation to keep playing. i feel like im playing it wrong, or like ive missed something that makes this game so great to other people. im so conflicted. can someone just like, decribe the process of what they did after leaving the tutorial area?

Which are your favourite Greek mythology stories? :)
Sorry for replying late to this thingy, university has me in a chokehold. Anyways, I guess some are already known... The Odyssey, Apollo and Artemis' birth, Medea, whatever the hell is going on regarding Dionysus' family tree.
But let's see... Maybe these are the ones that I could consider my favourites, thinking fast now without reading any book:
· The Myniades !
I already spoke about this myth here, but to put it simple, it's basically the one that I use everytime someone says that Dionysus has never done anything wrong, that everytime he attacked, he had his reasons for doing so. And it's tiring as hell because just as we shouldn't demonize the gods, we shouldn't treat them as saints, either. Back then they were both loved and feared, wether we like it or not. And Dionysus isn't the "fun, who wouldn't do anything wrong, drunkard" he's a fucking god.
· Sisyphus and Minos apologist, that's me !
Yeah. I might have gotten back to their myths due to ULTRAKILL and the essays I made about them, but I really enjoy their characters. Even more after forcing everyone into the "Sysiphus being Odysseus' father agenda" lmao.
"But Nysus, they weren't good people" that's the fun part.
· Gaia's entire figure !
Every time she's at least mentioned, I kick my feet in excitement. I ADORE the concept of Gaia. Of a being who even the gods fear. The being who is the reason we all exists... And we all could be gone, too.
The only direct descendant of Chaos along with Eros: Mother Gaia. Mother of all, and Ruler of all.
· Ares' abduction !
I mainly love this myth as a source, it shows and explains how inmortality regarding gods works, and it's not as complicated as one thinks. Ares was in the verge of starvation when he was kidnapped, since he needed ambrosia to stay inmortal. Of course, they resist more than mortals, but they STILL can die if they don't eat these special thingies we all know about.
So they like, left Ares starving to death for like a month.
· Hera screwing Zeus' wedding up !
Because I love Hera and Zeus, that's obvious at this point, so Pausanias' idea of Zeus getting sad at Hera leaving him, and his solution for her to come back is to pretend that his getting married again... It's just hilarious. I adore them.
In this myth, it's explained that despite the way Zeus and his lovers worked due to mentality back then, being nothing to what we have nowadays, the fact that Zeus explains to Hera that she's the only one he'll ever take as his wife... hdksjfdfsjkfsk
Even a festival was celebrating regarding this myth! :D In mount Cithaeron, iirc.
