When one of Sydney's exes visits Chicago, the one she HAD to leave because she was returning to America, questions flood her mind.

But not just HER mind.

Carmy is taken aback at Sydney's behaviour.

Suddenly she's the one missing in action. Just for a few days she assured him.

But when she brings this unknown someone to eat at the restaurant one night, Carmy starts to see red.

It's the happiest he's seen Sydney in a long time.

He didn't have the opportunity to take her out since he got locked in the walk-in, because he was trying his best to work hard to get her to see he wouldn't mess up again.

Had she been talking to this guy all along?

His irritation grew because Richie kept coming into the kitchen with titbits of gossip, he learned every time he talked to the laughing duo, seated diagonally across from the kitchen door.

Right where he thought he saw his old boss.

Did he now imagine that he was seeing this guy holding Sydney's hand?

He knew he had no right to be upset. None at all. But he was.

Now Richie was telling him he should get out there to say hello.

How would it look, Richie was telling him, if he didn't go out to greet his own CDC.

Carmy wanted to tell him, he couldn't give a F**K how it would look, but he knew that Richie was right.
