i know i shouldnt but my goodness the darkin/sweetical dynamic is INSANELY fun to think up. like it just fits???

I've drawn Aatrox and Nami just for memes but honestly it's oddly fun to think about it lore wise:

- Aatrox would be absolutely bewildered by the mere concept of sugar people, let alone the similarity between baking ceremonies and their own imprisonment

- Sweeticals probably wouldn't be able to become vessels for a darkin, as they're entirely food-based

"What are you even made of?!"

- both Nami and Aatrox are scarred by war and thousands of years old, yet unlike the darkin Nami is full of Joyous Whimsy™ which really annoys Aatrox

- that, and the fact Nami wields a comically large spoon as opposed to a sword, especially since knife-swords are valid sweeticalware

(i thought of changing it before but didn't. and i'm glad i didn't bc it's way more fun this way lmao)

- Nami would most likely compare Ascension and the darkin's imprisonment to "baking ceremonies, but with humans instead of sweets"

- which would inevitably lead to wondering if that's a viable way to free a darkin

"Maybe we could turn you into a sweetical! And give you a knife-sword! And cute chocolate armour! Ooh, and red skin!!"
