Had an awesome time at the Washington Summer Convention in Puyallup this afternoon! It was fun to see all the awesome cosplay and get to show off this piece I've been having to hold in the wings since I first built him in 2020 - next time I'll be bringing back The StickleBack for Emerald City Comic Convention, along with another set of cosplay I'm planning with my brother (the long-haired dude).

So over the last weekend I went to summercon and I regret so much, honestly I wish I wasn't so ...

Like im just trying to be a normal person, and yeah I have no money thanks to car problems literally a few days before summercon so I couldn't get a picture or autograph, but when John delancie acts like your a fucking weirdo it hurts, I loved the character he plays in star trek and now I regret being talked into at least saying hi to him because I feel bad, that I shouldn't have done that because he was so disgusted that he didn't even want to shake the other person who suggested we go ups hand, he fist bumped them.

People kept telling me I was overthinking it but he looked so uncomfortable and I felt really uncomfortable 😕 it was a terrible experience 😰

in hindsight it was really very funny that since I grew up being raised by a hardcore supernatural fan, I had so much confidence in my ability to spot supernatural references, so when I saw a LOT of wolfwood cosplayers walking around summercon I assumed they were someone from supernatural but it was ever so slightly driving me nuts that I couldn't remember who. then a friend recommended trigun to me and I saw WW and went

I finally got around to hanging up my SW autographs! I met Ian at Washington SummerCon two years ago, Ashley at Emerald City Comic Con last year, and Hayden also at ECCC I think two or three years ago

(I also have met Katee Sackhoff but the auto I have isn’t of her as Bo-Katan, so she’s elsewhere on the wall lol)

They’re all super lovely, but meeting Ian was incredible - there’s a photo at my parents house of all of us with him on the Emperor’s throne. He talked about the Emperor and referred to him as the Creature and it’s lived rent free in my head ever since.

I went to Summercon last Saturday!! It was amazing! I got to meet Samantha Kelly and she signed my Mario Odyssey art book!!! I blurred my name out for privacy reasons! She was so nice! I also bought a figure there! I got to interact with so many people it was amazing! Also so much happier with the improvements I’ve made to peach since ECCC! Summercon I am going to spend so much money. I know it. I cannot work I have no income I’m constantly in danger of being kicked out and have enough savings for like 2 months to live off of (if that) but OOOUUUUUGHHH ARTIST ALLEY
