“I do…”

Letting out a shaky breath, she said it and the hall echoed with clapping.

“Do you Mr. Min… take Miss lee as your lawfully wedded wife and promise to be with her in all ups and down, in health and sickness… till death to part?” the priest continued…

“I do…”

Hearing a soft and tender voice, she finally looked up a bit and saw him, her husband, for the first time. Hearing this only, sweat beads started forming her forehead and her breath got uneven which did not go unnoticed by him. He gently took her hand in his which made her look at him. He noticed her slight teary eyes and kissed her tears away whispering “relax… I will not touch you against your will…”

He didn’t know that this small sentence had a huge impact on her and she released her breath which she was holding since long. Holding her waist, he turned towards the guests and they bowed slightly thanking everyone for their presence.

Soon enough, both of them were in the car heading towards their home. There was dead silence in car and he thought to break it.

“The journey is for more than an hour… you can sleep if you feel like…”

Without saying a word, she closed her eyes which made him a bit confuse. It was an arrange marriage from both sides. Yoongi had seen her photo before marriage but never met her as he was told the bride is declining meeting before marriage. Today also, he found it strange when she was not looking at him properly in aisle and got teary when heard of kiss. But he let go of the thoughts thinking she might just be nervous and continued driving.

Upon reaching their place, yoongi turned to wake her up but got mesmerized by seeing her sleeping so peacefully. Her petal-like eyes, small and chubby nose and lips that were slightly parted, made him chuckle a bit…

‘cute…’ he thought and forwarded his hand to shake her slightly but he stopped thinking something. Taking back his hand, he cleared his throat and said in a soft voice “sana…”

She immediately opened her eyes and sat straight saying “yes…”

Yoongi was taken aback for a sec but composed himself and said “we reached home…”

Sana nodded slightly and got down from car. As her gown was heavy, yoongi offered to help but she denied and started walking behind him. Two-three steps ahead and she got disbalanced. She was about to fall front when yoongi immediately held her wrist, preventing her.

“told you let me help…” without listening anything, he lifted her in his arms and took her inside. Sana’s breath hitched feeling this and she said in a low voice “I can manage…”

“yeah I saw that…” he said making her shut.

He brought her in the room and made her sit on the bed.

“You can go and fresh… I will change in another room… you luggage came here and if anything is needed, you can say me…”

She slightly nodded and he left to another room. As soon as he left from the room, tears started forming her eyes. She immediately rushed to washroom and closed the door. Keeping hand on her mouth, she cried out silently.

On the other side, yoongi was getting confused on her behaviour. He noticed how she was getting scared, nervous and uncomfortable on his actions, but didn’t object anything as if she is scared that something might happen coz of objection.

‘why do I feel she is hiding something… or is it a forced marriage from her side…’

After sometime, yoongi came in the room and his breath hitched seeing sana sitting on the bed in black, almost transparent lingerie which was exposing her cleavage and thighs. Her hairs were still a bit wet and she was looking down while breathing unevenly.

Yoongi saw her going to washroom. He noticed her expressionless face but her eyes… they were telling a lot and he thought ‘there is surely something that I need to find out…’

FEW DAYS LATER

Yoongi and sana were coming close as friends. Sana’s nervousness was decreasing around him and she was trying to get comfortable. Yoongi, too, was trying his level best to make her feel safe and comfortable around him. Also, he was trying to find out about her past. But, to his surprise, he could not find anything. As sana was home-schooled, she didn’t have friends and also, she graduated through online university. She never attended any party and also was inactive on social media.

One fine afternoon, sana was watching a K-drama when she heard doorbell. She looked at the clock and thought ‘who can it be at this time… coz yoongi always comes home after 7…’

Thinking this, she went to open the door but was shocked seeing the person. Her hands started to shake a bit and face became pale a bit. The other person smirked seeing this and said “hey…”

“Won’t you let me in?” She raised her brows and sana immediately sided herself, letting her in.

Her mother, actually stepmother, came inside and sat on the couch. Sana hurriedly bought water for her and gave it; her eyes were down throughout. Her mother took the glass and said “are you not cleaning the home or what? What is all this mess on the table?”

Sana’s eyes widened realizing the chips and chocolate packets were on the table. Being with yoongi, her lifestyle changed to a certain extent and she started enjoying herself a bit. That is why, she used to care a little less about cleaning and all.

“I… I will… clean…” She said and started cleaning the table.

“hmmm… quick…”

After a while, sana served snacks to her.

“Did you guys have sex?” She asked. Sana’s breath became a bit heavy… she wanted to lie but she knew the consequences so she shook her head. Her mother got angry and asked “why? Why you didn’t huh…?”

Sana couldn’t say anything, which made her angrier. She pulled sana’s ear and said “even after me saying it, you didn’t… “

“ahhh… mom… it’s hurting… leave…” sana said while trying to be free.

Her mother pushed her a bit and she landed on the couch nearby.

“Shameless girl… not even able to seduce your own husband… you really are good for nothing… I thought at least you will be able to do wife duties but no… disgusting… only a burden…”

Her mother was ranting on badly and she was just listening to it while sobbing silently. Suddenly, she felt her throat being grabbed by her mother.

Yoongi came in the house using spare key as sana didn’t open the door even after ringing the doorbell continuously. Yoongi got worried sensing her absence in the living area as well as in the kitchen. He dialed her number but she didn’t answer, making him more worried. Searching for her, he went towards their room but as soon as he opened the door, his eyes got widen…

The room was decorated beautifully with rose petals and scented candles, giving the romantic and cozy vibes. Before he could call out, he heard her voice coming from his backside.

Yoongi turned and his heart skipped a bit seeing her in red short dress, which were perfectly fitting her body. “9 AM… shit…”

Yoongi caressed her cheek gently saying “just like that… and anyways… I am CEO… if any important meeting will be there, I can attend online… so I thought why not to spend some time with my wife…”

Sana gulped and said “yoongi… I am sorry for yesterday…”

Yoongi patted her head and said “just forget it… and please don’t take any load… nothing happened yesterday okay… just relax…”

Sana smiled lightly and he continued “now have your breakfast… I will come in a while…”

He left from the room and sana thought ‘he didn’t even mention anything about yesterday… I did a lot of crazy stuff but he is not even questioning me… why are you so nice yoongi… you are making me trust again… and I think… I am falling for you… but… what will I say to mom now….’ Her eyes widened at realisation and again her breath became heavy…

“what if she comes to know….” As soon as she said that, her phone started ringing. She saw that her mom is calling and she immediately got down the bed. The phone stopped but again started ringing, making her keep both the hands on her ear. Unable to bear the sound, she ran from the room.

She rushed to the kitchen area and saw yoongi standing there, probably making juice. She increased her pace and back-hugged him. Soon enough, she sensed a relief and comfort gushing inside feeling his warmth.

Here, yoongi was a bit stunned sensing her embrace but it didn’t take him much time to notice that she was shivering and breathing heavily. He turned and carefully pulled her in comforting hug. He could hear her sobs and caressed her hair saying sweet words to her.

After a while, he made her sit on sofa and started feeding her breakfast. There were lots of questions in his mind but right now, her health and comfort mattered more. So, he was calming and relaxing her. Sana also got a bit relaxed. She was about to say something when his phone rang…

Yoongi saw that sana’s mother was calling him. He picked up and said “hi mom…”

He was about to get up when sana said “you don’t have anything to ask me?”

Yoongi looked at her and said while smiling “I do have… but I know you are not comfortable enough to share that with me… but I’ll try my level best to make you feel safe around me and trust me so that you yourself can tell…” he softly pecked her forehead and went to kitchen…

Sana closed her eyes and tear escaped her eyes….

‘I am not used to so much love and affection yoongi… you are making me feel really special… I hope I will get courage to open up in front of you…��

One eve, Sana’s family invited sana and yoongi for family dinner. She didn’t want to go but she knew the consequences of refusing, so she agreed for it. She was almost ready when she felt yoongi’s presence in the room. She turned to him and got lost in him. He was wearing jet black blazer, with pastel blue colour shirt underneath and was looking breathtaking.

He smiled and came towards her saying “you are looking pretty…”

Sana blushed a bit and said “thanks… you are also looking handsome…”

His smile widened hearing this as it was the first time, she complemented him.

“I… I… got something for you…” He said hesitantly and forwarded a pendant box.

Sana smiled seeing single diamond pendant and said “its beautiful…”

“Can you wear it today?” he asked…

She smiled and turned. Siding her hair, she said “help me to wear it…”

Yoongi smiled as he felt she was getting comfortable around him. He took the pendant and made her wear it. In the process, his hand slightly bushed her back, giving a tingly feeling to her for the first time.

“Now its looking more beautiful…”

He commented which made her blush. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she said “shall we leave?”

Yoongi nodded and they both headed towards sana’s house.

Upon reaching there, sana’s eyes automatically went down seeing her parents. Yoongi noticed it and he could feel the same tension in sana as that night. He gently held her hand as if he is assuring his presence to her…

S/M “Sana dear… yoongi son… come… come inside…”

They headed towards the living room and yoongi sat on the couch, but sana was still standing, making yoongi confused. Before he could say anything, S/M laughed a bit and said “sana… no need to be shy anymore dear… sit beside yoongi…”

He gently held her asked and whispered “you okay?”

Sana looked at him and felt a bit okay. So, she nodded and they continued talking. Precisely, yoongi and sana’s parents. Sana was silent throughout and was not even looking up, which didn’t get unnoticed by him.

“Come on sana… let’s set the table…” S/M said and sana went with her. Yoongi wanted to stop her as he sensed she is not okay, but her father engaged him in another conversation. Still, yoongi was looking at her from time to time…

After the dinner, yoongi and sana were driving back but sana was unusually silent. Her mind was still on the talk she had with her mother while setting the table…

“I can see you both got along well, right?”

Sana nodded

“It’s time I think….”

Sana “For what mom?”

S/M smiled and lifted her chin. She was aware of yoongi’s glances therefore she was smiling sweetly to sana.

“The papers are ready… all you have to do is get his sign and his property will be ours….”

Sana took steps back and shook her head saying “I can’t do this mom….”

S/M’s blood boiled but she maintained the smile. Holding her hand gently yet firmly, she took her towards the corner where yoongi can’t see…

Her grip was sooo tight on sana’s wrist that she almost yelped. Her mom took knife and said “get it signed, else you know… I will kill him… (whispering) just like I killed her….”

“Sana….”

Yoongi’s voice brought her back to reality and she noticed that they reached home. Signing slightly, she got down the car followed by him. They entered their room and yoongi said “you go and freshen up… I will use the other washroom…”

Sana just nodded and he went towards guest room to change. Sana took out the papers her mother kept in the bag and then started thinking whether she should or not… but her mom’s words came in her head…

I will kill him… (whispering) just like I killed her….

Sana jerked her head and sat on bed, thinking deeply. Within ten minutes, yoongi came in the room and saw her sitting in same clothes and some papers were there in her hand.

“you didn’t change yet…”

His words broke her thought and she said “yeah… just going… but before that…”

She got up and slowly came towards him. Looking down, she said “can you sign these papers?”

Yoongi took the papers and went towards the table. Taking a pen, he was about to sign the papers when sana came hurriedly, took the papers and tore them; leaving him shocked…

“Sana…” He got more shocked seeing her in tears.

Sana grabbed his arms and said “why… why the hell you trust me this much… you didn’t even see what was written on the paper and started signing it… huh…”

Yoongi held her hand, which was on his arms, and said “I trust you sana… even if you tell me to sign my death warrant, I’ll do it for you… because I love you…”

“No… you should not love me… no….”

Sana broke into loud sobs and sat on the bed. Yoongi came near her and kneeled down. Keeping his head on her lap, he started caressing her hand to calm her down. After sometime, he sensed her sobs got lightened and he said “let it out sana… please… let me heal you…”

Sana caressed her hair gently and said “I am willing to ger healed yoongi… please take me out from this mess…”

Yoongi held her hand and she continued “my father always wanted a boy… as an heir… and after I was born, he was never happy… as doctor also said that my mother won’t be able to carry a second child. He never loved me yoongi, not even a bit and he used to release all his frustration on my mother. I was a child then, I didn’t understand, but with time, I could figure out that he used to beat my mother and used to rape her daily. I used to be in another room, keeping my mouth shut and listening to my mother’s cry every night…”

Sana chocked on her tears and yoongi immediately bought a glass of water for her. She gulped it down in a go and yoongi sat opposite to her, side hugging and caressing her arms.

“one day, when I finished my online class, I came to kitchen…. I saw my mother lying unconscious. I tried to wake her but she was not responding. I started crying and called my father. He didn’t pick my calls at first but after my continuous calling, he picked and I told him about mother. He simply said ‘so what’ and cut the call… I couldn’t understand anything, I was 7 that time… my father came home after 4 hours and till then, my mother was no more. He didn’t even look at her, nor at me… he just called the ambulance and said to take the dead body… I started crying hearing him but he dragged me to room and closed it…”

Yoongi was in tears listening this and she continued “5 days… I was in that room… scared… alone… not even had anything to eat. I passed out of dehydration and when I opened my eyes, I saw a lady, who was caressing my hair and I was in my room… I got to know that my father married again and she was my mom. I got happy a bit but it didn’t last long…. She is very strict… gave me only one meal per day and gave me worst punishments if I do anything wrong… sometimes beating, burning my skin or calling her brother… who used to touch me…”

Yoongi’s hand turned into fist hearing this. He so wanted to kill her so called parents but right now, he knew she needed him…

“She inculcated in my mind that I am a servant… I should listen to what ever they say… I need to be dutiful wife and satisfy my husband… when I got your marriage proposal, she told me to have sex with you first so that I can gain your trust and then get your property. I tried to appose a bit but she threatened me and told me that she can do anything to me, like she did to my mother… she told me that she killed my mother… she… she…:”

Sana started crying badly and yoongi hugged her. His eyes were also full of tears and he said “I swear on you sana… I will make your parents pay every penny of what they did… they are not gonna escape… trust me… your mother and you will get justice…”

Sana hugged him back tightly and she felt so much relief telling everything to him.

Yoongi kept his promise and got justice for her. It took almost two months but he was always there, standing by her side, giving her courage and motivation to speak against her family. Even after this, yoongi started training her so that she can join his company and be outspoken a bit. Sana was so grateful to have such a loving and caring partner.

Few months later

It was their first anniversary and sana took leave from office. She wanted to decorate the house on her own and surprise yoongi.

While baking cake, she thought ‘today is the happiest day of my life… I’ll confess to him that I love him and… and ready for him…’

By thinking this only, she blushed to the core. Even though she became a bit cold and confident, she was the same shy girl in front of him. She heard his car horn and understood he came back from office. Looking at herself for the last time in mirror, she smiled widely and went to open the door.

As soon as yoongi entered, he was engulfed in a tight hug by her. He smiled and wrapped his arms around saying “happy anniversary love…”

“Happy anniversary to you too…”

They broke the hug and sana took his bag. Keeping it at it’s place, sana said “go and freshen up, till then I’ll set the table…”

Yoongi pecked her forehead and went to change. Here, sana set the table with candle light and placed the cake she baked. In some time, yoongi came and was mesmerised seeing all the things she did. Sana was standing, waiting for him to come and cut the cake together.

After cake cutting, sana said “yoongi…”

“yeah…”

Sana “I want to give you a small gift…”

Yoongi smiled and asked “what…”

“I love you…”

Saying that, she gently held his shirt sleeve and pulled him, crashing her lips on him. Yoongi stumbled a bit but froze feeling her lips on him… he was not able to believe what’s happening but she bit his lips, bringing him to reality. As soon as he came in his sense, he responded. Sucking on her upper lips, he pulled her by waist. Sana encircled her arms on his neck and her one hand went in his hair, massaging gently. Both were feeling euphoric in the moment and they continued kissing till they were breathless…

When they pulled out, both were breathing heavily, but yoongi was still not satisfied.

“I love you too sana…”

He inhaled sharply and again kissed her saying that… this time, a bit roughly and she also tried to follow his pace. Both were devouring each other’s lips and yoongi pinned her to wall, deepening the kiss…

They parted while catching for breath and he joined his forehead with hers…

“Sana… I won’t be able to control myself anymore…” He said while looking at her…

Sana smiled and made an eye-contact with him saying “me too…”

Yoongi picked her in his arms and said “then dinner later…”

Sana’s heartbeat increased sensing what was coming next but she was equally excited for it. Yoongi took her in the room and dropped her on the couch, leaving her a bit confused. She saw him going towards cupboard and taking out something…

“yoon…” she whispered slowly

Yoongi sensed her uneasiness and came towards her. Caressing her hair, he asked “do you trust me?”

“More than myself…” she said while relaxing a bit under his touch…

Yoongi smiled and said “then wear this and stand up…”

Sana looked at his hand and was surprised seeing blindfold. She gulped the lump in her throat and wore that. She stood up while taking his support and he said “you sure you are ready na…”

Sana smiled and nodded saying “yes love… I am ready…”

She sensed him coming and standing at her back and his breath was fanning her neck, giving her goosebumps. Yoongi sided her hair and slowly touched her back with the back of his hand. She clutched her dress feeling his hand on the zipper of her dress.

Sana was feeling shy, nervous and excited at the same time and soon enough, she felt her dress getting off her body and a small gasp escaped her mouth.

Yoongi kept his both hand on her shoulders, slowly turning her towards him and her heartbeat increased. This is the first time she was being naked in front of anyone and she was shivering and breathing unevenly...
