How, just how do i do organic chem??? It becomes hard to remember and revise it. Please give me some pointers!!!
hiiii anon! thanks for asking <3
org chem is something I'm neither very good at nor bad at. I'll do my best in answering you!
the one main thing that I understood late(actually very late) about oc is that it's all about understanding and learning and not about memorizing. Even if it takes a long time. Even if you have to start from the basics, from the very beginning. That's what I did last year. I was so clueless that I decide to learn everything. Again. But this time, I practiced every day without skipping. Both theory and questions. Once you get into this 'organic chem' mode, it becomes easier for you to understand and analyze the questions better and will also help you find your weak point. Honestly, once you find out the weak point, the process becomes so much easier. And even practicing your strong points will give you the confidence to continue.
the second and final main thing is your mindset. how much does understanding organic chem really matter to you? what will change? what impact will it bring on your grades?
if it's hard to remember and revise, try making the process fun and something to look forward to, like studying through flashcards, watching video lectures, taking notes, discussing with your friends, taking online practice tests, and participating in class discussions.
all of this will take a long time I know but I've been there. everything stated above is already done by me so I don't think long time is that long :) I wish you the very best!
that's it! also, a Lil meme to make the situation neutral oops

tagged by @oracleofdelythi thank you dear and so sorry for taking ages to do this

zainab  but you call me anything :)
what year are you in?
11grade / junior college
what are you studying?
i’m studying science - bio, chem and physics  and English and cs (hopefully)
after graduation, what's next?
give the pre med national exam and then continue my med journey
are you morning or a night person?
im barely a person but to answer the question i’d say night person, i cant woke up early and my mind just dont work plus im insomniac so i get most stuff get done at night
front/back/middle of class?
front-middle, i basically sit on the sec or third desk by the window i dont like sitting in the very front or in the last
best feedback from a teacher?
well last year i had this exam of english lit and our teacher put this creative writting question like it suppose to be a 1 mark question and she made it 5 marks one so you gotta explain in detail by yourself and i was the only one who got full marks and did it right later after so much complaining of other students she read my answer in the class and use it as an example as how to do it, i was really happy by her compliments🥺🥺
best study tips?
always revise what you studied ( any subject) so then it can be transferred to your long term memory so you dont have to pass out with pressure during exams
three fun facts! ( im giving academia related once)
-i never studied nursery or kg ( i was basically homeschooled before 1st grade)
-i once got the dates wrong for an exam and prepared for wrong subject but still passed the exam and got the highest marks
-kpop and ffs have teached me more english than my school( thats a legit fact)

I've decided that I might actually be starting a studyblr! But I'm waiting for school to start, getting adjusted with my schedule, etc. I feel like starting a studyblr will definitely help me to stay motivated and to continue taking great notes 😅
yayy!!
YES, starting a studyblr will definitely help you stay motivated. and i wish you good luck for your online/offline school! Mine’s definitely online(ongoing;I started school back in June) but i just got to know that we might start offline classes by the end of this month :( and also, remember to take care of yourself once school starts!
anyways, i wish you good luck again and hope you’re having a good day and stay safe and healthy :)
