Listen man, you guys can't be like "you guys need to be normal about asexuality" and then turn around and get weirdly judgemental when you find out someone doesn't have sex by choice. Like that's weird that some of you do that.

Dick enters the Cave and hears Dami's horrified screaming. He blinks and sees Tim at the Batcomputer, huddled over a Zesti looking like a supervillain.

Dick: "What are you doing to Damian?"

Tim: "Training."

Dami: [AGONIZED SCREAMING FROM A DISTANCE]

Dick, mildly: "Elaborate."

Tim: "He said no one could beat him with a sword. I bet him ten bucks I could program someone to beat him in the Holodeck."

Dick: "Right, and?"

"See for yourself." Tim switches the screen of the Batcomputer back on to the holodeck's cameras. Damian is impaled on a giant sword. The simulation resets.

A woman's voice comes out of the speakers. "I am Malenia, blade of Miquella..."

Dick: "...You didn't."

Tim, grinning like a loon: "Oh, but I did."

Dick: "How many times has he died so far?"

Tim: "34. He almost gave up at 15, but I told him some guy I know managed to beat her naked with a jar on his head."

Dick, sitting down to watch: "You're a monster."

Tim: "It's what he deserves for telling me video games are for losers."

I think my issue with the “draw blorbo holding a watermelon or Palestinian flag” trend thing is that fandom has been an extremely hostile place for Palestinians for years - obviously I think fandom is secondary to everything for me right now, but it’s weird to see these spaces that have repeatedly pushed Palestinians out suddenly take on a “pro Palestine” veneer. Spreading awareness is great but I always have to sit and wonder how genuine it actually is

#saying as someone who was in fandom for like. over ten years #Palestinians were literally begging dragon age fans like a year ago not to platform members of the idf. does nobody remember that #VAs Actors directors writers etc who are openly pro Israel but it gets shut down whenever mentioned #bg3 fans are still hyping up gale’s va so nothing has really changed
