Matera (Basilicata). Sasso Barisano. Returning from St. Augustine, now hungry, I look around, but then I opt to have dinner in the center. On the way down, I notice a place, a cave/restaurant furnished in Art Nouveau style that I saw already two years ago, still under construction, I imagine (see post of 22 and 23 July 2017). It is "Dedalo" (submerged senses) a lounge room based on the concept of the labyrinth of Minos to capture the Minotaur. Back on the main street and reached via Fiorentini, I decide to go up to the cathedral, somehow interrupting the "circumnavigation" ... On our way up Carmel Hill to Parc Guell, in La Salut, a neighbourhood in the Gracia district of Barcelona, Spain. It was quite a long steep climb - went through a gauntlet of outdoor escalators, sidewalks on an incline, and stairs. We later found out we had entered through the back part of the Parc.
