The Kpop-industry in 2024

(January 30th, 2024)

This reading is done with tarot and my intuition. Tarot is not a fact, so please take my words lightly. Let's get started. :)

OVERALL

So I won't be shocked if we see not much coming. It seems like there won't be anything new coming. No new ideas. Very stagnante.

I'd say that mistakes will be present even this year and that many won't learn from the past. I don't see much improvement or difference in this year. It will kinda be like the last one.

However, I do see some difference behind the curtains. We, the fans, won't see much difference, but as for the companies, there might be some change coming till the end of the year.

Other than that, I also see groups/companies coming together. Maybe a lot of collabs. Maybe a lot of stages (at festivals?).

KPOP COMPANIES

Knight of Wands, The Star, Ace of Swords, The Empress, The Lovers R, Three of Wands, The Fool

This year seems to be very good for companies, especially for the ones that are trying to acomplish something and that are trying to get their name out there. A lot of luck this year.

I think they will be working on new things. Maybe we won't see new projects/groups coming this year, but the coming years.

Also, women might play a big role this year. Women working in these companies. Women establishing their own company this year. We will see a lot of influence coming from Women.

But there will be some disharmony in and between all these companies. So yeah, let's see.

Also we might see a lot of companies being more present in foreign countries. Tours, programmes all over the world. And I mean ALL OVER THE WORLD not only the us (and obviously asia).

So till the end of the year, I see them improving and having more ideas. Being more original. And free/open for new things to come.

KPOP GROUPS/IDOLS

Oh wow. My spread looks like a roller coaster full of emotions.

I do see some clarity within groups and for the idols. There will be more freedom. But they are all kinda afraid to make a step.

I do see some change coming with maybe a more negative aspect, but I do see improvement after some time.

There will be a lot of opportunities coming for all the idols. And I must say that they are really good!

But I do see some inactivity. No motivation. No passion. A lot of resting (?). It will be a very confusing year as many things seem to change.

Many Idols seem to not invest much time/passion into their work this year.

Got this request a lot of times. Just some stuff I sense from the members about Wonyoung:

-Playful (A few members)

-Doll-like/face genius/super pretty (all members)

-Super tall (some members)

-Model like (most members)

-Too skinny (some members)/ eating disorder (some members)

-Quiet/silent (most members)

-Very secretive/guarded (all members) - someone says "definitely hiding shit"

-Probably dating/got some sponsor?? (some members)

-Very cold (most members)

-Hard to read/get to know (all members)

-Kind of robotic (some members)

-Emotionless (most members)

-Isolates herself/always by herself (some members)

-Self absorbed (most members)

-Has a cruel side (some members)

-Weird (all members)

-Fake (most members)

Overall, I sense that most of the members are disconnected from her like they don't really know her very well. They find her very hard to know as a person and that she puts up a wall/front. Wonyoung definitely distances herself from others so it's generally very hard for someone to feel like they know what she's thinking or what she's actually like. She'll smile at you but the eyes are sort of blank?

tips 3 : never put shampoo other than on your scalp, it will make the rest of the hair very dry .

tips 4: avoid heat, if you still wanna use heat remember to always put a heat protector, personally i use the Ghd Thermo protector spray and it works perfectly !:)

tips 5: take dietary complement, it's not necessary but it is a great way to make your hair healthier.

tips 6 : massage your scalp, i recently started to do this not believing it could work but it does! you can find a scalp massager kinda everywhere.

What is Gaeuls' ideal type? ♡

Gaeul is into someone who really means it. She wants her partner to appreciate and love her. She isn't into short things. She is into serious relationships.

Her partner should be flirty and they should make the first move! She loves it when somebody talks to her that way! Like she is sooo whipped for people that really know how to flirt!!!

She wants her partner to be in control of their emotions. They should be more outgoing and spontaneous. They shouldn't make rash decisions just because they are sad or whatever.

I'm also thinking that she like people that are mature! Not saying she likes older people but people who are mentally mature and grown up. She doesn't want to be someone's mum! She's not there to take care of a child and actually I think SHE would like to get pampered! Not the other way around!

Usually the three of Swords represents heard-ache, loneliness & unhappyness but as this card came out with the reversed moon I think it's more of a 'make me happy and don't let your emotions hurt me' than 'break my heart into thousands of peaces'. Idk it makes more sense cause of the other cards. I'm getting a more 'make me happy & let's live forever by eachothers side's' vibe than something negative... Uk?

Could you please do a personality and general reading (career/health/love) for Jang Wonyoung (IVE)?

Personality wise/other stuff I pick up about her

Very guarded, secretive, protective of herself, has very few friends (almost 0), independent, focused on her career, very serious (don't joke about her), very cold, doesn't really express her emotions/doesn't really feel much, kind of robotic, has some trauma that she is deeply suppressing like if she remembers this incident or some other ones she'll break down, suppresses her feelings a lot so she doesn't feel anything, determined, disciplined, worries a lot

I'd say her mental health is pretty poor - also probably grinds her teeth a lot due to stress/anxiety. Her personality is very suppressed or robotic because of her mental health. She is blocking a lot of feelings/emotions - when I read her, I just get a very empty person, almost like a pretty porcelain doll...

She could potentially break down fully at any time if she gets triggered. Either her mental health is so poor that she can't even stand on stage or her physical health is so bad that she needs to be hospitalized.

There are some traumatic/unhappy instances that she would like to forget and keeps blocking them away. I think her thinking is that as long as she doesn't feel, she won't get hurt. She'll probably overwork herself or control herself in unhealthy ways like diet. She gets some sense of control when she's able to control what she eats and her weight. She tries to fill the emptiness/unhappiness in her life by getting more CFs etc because that makes her feel like what happened was worth it (i.e. she's successful etc.)

It is difficult to get a true personality reading for her at this moment in time because she has shut herself down completely. You're really looking at an empty shell within her right now. If you look at her eyes from recent pictures, you can see that they're more or less empty. There's no "soul" in the eyes. Perhaps years ago, she was more energetic, optimistic, and happy.

(Compare Wonyoung's eyes with the other 2 guests beside her. You'll see what I mean.)

*So this Wonyoung post became frozen when I clicked post, yet it still posted. That to me means that Wonyoung feels very stuck in her current situation yet time still goes on, so she sort of feels like she has left herself behind at a platform a long time ago while everyone's time sort of continues to go on. I think she does want help/want a way out of this because my post still got published. If she didn't want her situation to be known at all, then my post would have just completely froze and I wouldn't have been able to publish it at all. Unfortunately at this time I don't think I see anyone extending their hand out to help her nor is she directly asking for help. She's too guarded for anyone (tbh) to offer help..

genre : mafia(?)!au, jungmo x afab!reader, fluff, established relationship tws : pet names, kiss, slight suggestive content (like not at all) author notes : for my dear anonymous requestor. i hope you like it & thank you for the scenario!! i've never fully written a mafia!au before so, i hope it's not too bad. and, truthfully i've been in a bit of a writer's block recently. word count : 0.8k

“how long will you be gone?” my voice broke through the deafening silence, which was only interrupted by the light crinkle of paper.

i paced the darkly-decorated room as i waited his response. murals, framed with gold and old weapons hanging on the walls. the brick was a dark shade of red, dusty and, purposefully, dingey-looking. it had a scary aesthetic, in contrast to the white slip-dress you’d put on only hours ago. the setting-sun shined through the window with an orange hue — which was only covered halfway by the dark curtains that were made to keep it out. i paused and stared crossed-armed at the man who casually sat behind the, just as dark, cedar desk: papers, upon papers scattered in a never ending raging-sea.

his attention didn’t settle on me, in turn making my voice raise as i tried again to catch it, “jungmo,” his movement stopped, however he didn’t look up from the sheet he’d read seemingly a hundred times, “how long will you be gone this time?”

i knew it couldn’t have been an easy task, told by the way his body tensed and his fingers pressed over the bridge of his nose.

but still, he didn’t answer me.

he was the quiet-type. he’d been that way since the day we’d met almost three years ago now, when he was prowling the bar i had spent the better part of my life tending. but, he was gentle and honest from that day forth. he did his best to protect me from the horrors of his world — hesitant to add me to it in the first place. but, he said it was love at first sight. that he'd shield his sunshine from the bitter planet's patterns.

and, who was i to deny?

i did love him endlessly, the ugly and disgusting included. i've known for years that he does things less the desirably. he'd killed people, however, it never scared or put me off. i knew the innocent look in his eye, reserved for me and me alone.

i guess, maybe his sunshine could get cloudy from time to time, too.

my fingers traced along his shoulders once i'd gotten close enough. he sighed, maybe because of what he'd read, or more likely, my touch, which i've been told — by him — is very soothing.

"baby," i stated, running both my hands down his arms and resting my head in the crook of his neck. i could hear his heart drumming a steady rhythm, that every so often skipped a beat when i'd motion like i was going to let go. "jungmo, love. what is it this time?"

he hummed, but still no words left his lips. though it wasn't unlike him, and has since stopped irritating me; i just wanted his mental anguish to avert to me, to distract him.

without any more questions, my right hand snaked up his own and to the paper. with ease, i took it from his grasp and added it to the droplets already on the wood.

his gaze fell upon me as i slid between him and the desk, holding his wrists out to the side so he couldn't protest — but, he didn't even attempt to. he let my legs straddle his lap, myself then letting his hands fall to their place on my waist, like that's where they were made to be.

"when do you leave?" i asked, his eyes locking with mine. i could feel him tense, his grip on the fabric over my skin tightening. the look in them was enough to answer, the sparkling that he saved for my view gone in an instant.

"tonight." he said coldly, barely over a whisper.

"and, when do you return?"

at this time, my hands had come to rest around his neck, our faces nearly centimeters apart — breaths mixing.

"my sunshine," he started, his hands rubbing up and down my sides soothingly — but, more for his stim than my comfort. "hopefully, tomorrow night. twenty-four hours. its not a complicated task. between wonjin, woobin and i, it shouldn't take long."

i halved a smile, "then why hopefully? who is it for?"

he finished the smile in my place, halting his movements on my side and bringing them to rest against my cheeks. he all but cooed, "don't worry, my sunshine." and pressed a light kiss against my lips.

i chased it, when he broke off, with a slight pout. but, he laughed against the skin of my neck, pulling me into an embrace instead of giving into my desires.

i'd see him again, i was sure of it, but that didn't stop the unbearable thought from crossing my mind: it very well could be the last kiss we ever have. still, he wouldn't say the word goodbye, and i prayed i'd never hear it fall from his lips in my lifetime and the next.
